Brenda Nanyonjo squashes rumour of Abenakyo marrying kyabazinga

Since Abenakya won Miss world Africa, rumor and arrangements have been assumed for her even without her knowing. And when the beauty queen visited the kyabazinga, even bigger assumptions were made including her becoming the queen of busoga which seemed rightfully earned as theost beautiful African.

Brenda Nanyonjo the head of the Miss Uganda franchise came out to squash those rumours in a recent interview.

“Any man planning on marrying Abenakyo should just keep it as a secret to himself because Miss Africa is too busy for marriage.” she said.

Nanyonjo however said that the most Abenakyo can do is traditional introduction but not official marriage with a wedding ceremony.

Well,  Abenakyp’s boyfriend must wake up and grab the opportunity now.

Quiin Abenakyo graduation saga

As the festivities of graduations at makerere university were in high gear, one thing seemed amiss around newly famous miss world Africa as with new attention comes new scrutiny.

As the names of graduands for the bachelors degree of business computing were read, Abenakyo was read first but was no where to be found in the printed copy which everyone had. Tongues started to wag on the discrepancy that was going on that could somehow be tied to her fame that caused her to skip the queue.

University administrator came out to clear the air “Hey. The story circulating about Abenakyo is false. She completed her course Bachelor of Business Computing. Her name was read first. Not in the book because it was printed before she cleared,” he said.

5 Reasons Why We Love Quiin Abenakyo

Our Miss Uganda is back, and she brought us more than glory. For the next couple of months, she is going to be under scrutiny by many, but here are 5 top reasons why we already love Quick Abenakyo.

1. She Doesn’t Forget Her Roots

So many people in Uganda have become successful and completely forgotten where they come from. Others even want nothing to do with their tribal background. For Quick, this is important, and she went straight to visit and thank her Kyabazinga, on her return.

The Queen knows her background
2.She has Manners.

“Kneeling is not Stylish, the 21st Century parent does not require me to kneel” so they say. Quick does not mind getting down on her knees, regardless of what she is wearing. If the most beautiful woman in Africa can kneel, what about you?

Will The Basoga Sterotype Continue After 2018?

Over the years, Ugandans have created a variety of stereotypes, about people from different regions of the country. The one that has gone far and wide is that of the Basoga. From jokes, to me message, to songs and insinuatioms, Ugandans have called them all names, from backward, to uneducated, to jiggers, and more, but will they do this again after 2018?
