“My bodyguards are now out of danger” Jaguar narrates the cause of Sunday morning accident

Starehe MP Charles Njagua Kanyi was involved in yet another accident on November 26th. Jaguar was on his way back from a funeral when the accident happened.

Jaguar was not in the car that got involved in the accident. The Mercedes Kompressor that rammed into another vehicle was carrying Jaguar’s bodyguards.

“An accident which had occurred earlier on Kenyatta road, made curious motorists stop to have a glance at a Toyota Isis which had veered off the road and rolled several times. When the motorists were trying to catch that spectacle, they consequently parked wrongly on the road, it is then that one vehicle rammed into another, and another rammed into the one in front. Just like the cars ahead, my vehicle, a Mercedes Kompressor, which had my bodyguards on board also rammed into a car which was in front of it, reducing it to a mangled wreck,” Jaguar told Citizen.

My bodyguards are out of danger

Jaguar briefed Kenyans on the conditions of his bodyguards injured in the crash. He says his bodyguards are recuperating at Kenyatta Hospital.

“Earlier today, on my way back from a burial in Nyeri, one of the vehicles we travelled in got involved in an accident that involved seven other cars.  The occupants of the vehicle who included my bodyguard are out of danger and are receiving medical care at the Kenyatta National Hospital. I thank you all for the well wishes,” wrote Jaguar.

The Starehe MP was involved in another accident eight months ago. Jaguar’s Range Rover crashed to death two people on March 22nd 2017.

The MP’s Range Rover KCB 808J hit the two men who were on motorbike at high speed on Makutano-Sagana highway killing them on the spot.
