Njugush’s pleasant surprise to wife Celestine Ndinda that got Kenyans talking (Video)
After years of toiling hard together and battling numerous fights to get to the top, comedian Njugush decided to gift his wife Wakavinye an expensive German machine, just to say thank you for her unflinching support.
Born Timothy Kimani drove a sleek white brand New Mercedes Benz E series edition into their home in Ruiru, romantically wrapped with a red ribbon to the front, and quite excited to show his wife the miles he can go just to make her happy. A sharply dressed Njugush quickly jumped out of the new ride calling out Cele’s name “Wakavinye, I want to upgrade you…”.
Celestine, who was not welcoming of her husband’s loud noises, was soon after blindfolded and slowly walked to her new surprise. Njugush was like; “I won’t take a lot of your time. You have been with me through all the hard times and 1..2…are you ready?”

A casually dressed Cele, known for her calm and never surprised reactions, bluntly asked an intoxicated Njugush; “Are you serious?”
There and then, after receiving confirmation that it was indeed a reality, a dumbfound Wakavinye went ahead to touch and walk around her new ride, before jumping in and asking for the keys, to give it a road test as she preps to enjoy many more rides with it.
Taken for a ride?
Only for her comedian husband to change tune and instead say he meant the gift was inside the car and not that he had bought her a new ride. A quick glance at the gift and it was nothing but tissue rolls.
You don’t want to imagine what happened to Njugush thereafter but Celestine taught him a good lesson!

Fans who thought Njugush must have been God-sent for a dear Cele, felt utterly disappointed and taken for a ride after realizing this was but a tissue ad.
