How strict and uptight is your wife/girlfriend?

For daddy Owen, his wife Farida Wambui is very friendly and you might end up being fooled she doesn’t get angry, but according to the gospel singer, she’s one tough woman when things heat up.

Taking to social media, Daddy Owen shared a post jokingly saying that her wife might be a smiley face but when she gets angry, she goes into Kikuyu mode and rants.

Every day I learn something new from the kids – Daddy Owen speaks of fatherhood

Well, the family man has been able to create a strong bond with his children, especially with his first son, who is way already in school.

It is with humility that he conducts his fatherly role to his children, who he reveals teach him couple lessons every passing day, in a way he just blends in.

Also though, it is after being a parent, that you finally see the light to some of the things that left you in the dark while still a kid, he cites.

He shares:

Fatherhood is okay. Every day I learn something new from the kids. You know being a parent helps one understand better the struggles our parents went through when we were young. Being a father also makes one understand things they could not understand before. I always drop my son to school every morning, despite the fact the school offers an option where one can pay for transport when paying school fees.

Already well versed with the current age and time of technology, he decides to take a different approach in the way he brings up his kids.

Technology has taken over. Instead of them spending all their time in the house playing video games, we take long drives. That’s one way for us to bond and know what’s going on in his life. It’s very important to me. On weekends we also take long drives alone.

The ‘Vanity’ hit maker and his wife, welcomed their second son in July 2018 through God’s grace.
