Beef? Octopizzo goes hard on Khaligraph Jones as he calls him a ‘copy and paste’ artist

It has been a while since we heard Octopizzo and Khaligraph beef over each other’s music. But kama kawaida there is still some tension left in the two Kenyan rappers that erupts seasonally.

This time around Octopizzo has come out to accuse Khaligraph Jones of being a copy and paste artist. According to Octopizzo, the rapper has never come up with an independent idea; since he is so used to riding on people’s creativity.

Well, this comes shortly after Octopizzo announced he will be dropping an album soon and surprising Papa Jones also revealed details about his upcoming album.

With this Octopizzo feels that Khaligraph Jones’ only reason to drop an album is because he heard about Octo’s upcoming album.

Khaligraph caused a stir with his latest music video ‘Rider’ featuring Petra. The rapper is seen severing human head in the first scene of his video.

Khaligraph is also seen feasting on raw kidneys in the video. The eating of flesh caused concerns among some people who think the rapper is propagating satanic agenda.

Octopizzo is kinda renewing his beef with Khaligraph Jones. Kibera’s finest talked smack about Khaligraph’s new jam during an interview on Kiss FM.

I don’t understand what they are rapping about, that’s my only problem. I don’t hate it. Like I want to hear the lines, maybe I’m part of the slow crowd. I’m particular about my stuff. But I’m hearing tirititrirititiritiri,” said Octopizzo.

Before the fame and money, Octopizzo struggled to make ends meet. His mum and dad passed on when he was still an underage and for this reason he had to hustle for himself.

Without anyone to guide him, Octopizzo became a thief and his main targets were shops and people. He however Satan that he did not kill anyone and unlike many who are ashamed of admitting their past lives; the Kibera rapper has no regrets.

I never regret being part of that, I never killed anybody.

He owes his career to his hard life

Speaking to Al-Jazeera, Octopizzo says he is grateful to have lived the hard life and he owes his career to it. If not for the slum life, Octopizzo would never be the person he is today.

“I feel like if I wasn’t born here I would probably not be a rapper, I would be something else.

His life is now a living testimony to many who feel that life is too harsh on them. He concluded saying;

I want to be the face of possibility because when you grow here you are told that you will never be anything. You are told this by your teacher in school, you are probably told this by your dad at home and most of the time it starts hitting you and you realize, ‘oh I will never be anything anyway.

Octopizzo plans to take dead parents to 2018 Grammy Awards in New York after receiving rare invite

Octopizzo has been invited to one of the most prestigious music awards in the world – Grammy Awards. The rapper plans to tag along his deceased father and mother to the Grammy.

A Grammy Award is an award presented by The Recording Academy to recognize achievement in the mainly English-language music industry.

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on January 28th 2018. The global award gala will be held at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, who have all been nominated for the Grammy, are some of the global superstars who will be attending the award gala.

Octopizzo will rub shoulders with international superstars at the 2018 Grammy. The Kenyan rapper says that he will wear a T-shirt with a photo of his mom and dad in hope that they will be in attendance.

Kibera’s finest Octopizzo is set to exchange vows with his Caucasian sweetheart soon. The rapper proposed to his girlfriend sometimes in 2016.

Octopizzo loves his girlfriends and baby mamas white. The ‘TBT’ hit maker dated Christine Fernades for along time before he broke up with her and hooked up with another Caucasian lady.

Ezra Chiloba resurfaces to give Kalekye Mumo a pat on the back

Ezra Chiloba was the reason why Nasa started the demonstrations against IEBC. Chiloba went underground after the heat became too much for him to stand.

Nasa accused Chiloba of being the architect of election rigging. The IEBC Chief Electoral Officer was forced to go on leave ahead of October 26th repeat presidential election.

Chiloba has also been mum on Twitter which is the play field of Nasa’s legion. The IEBC CEO resurfaced on Thursday night December 7th to give Kalekye Mumo a pat on the back.

Kalekye hosted Octopizzo on her show Talk Central on K24 on Thursday night. Ezra Chiloba was impressed by Kalekye’s interview and he decided to send a shout-out.

Rapper Octopizzo is undeniably among the most talented acts we have seen from Kenya. He is a man who worked hard to get where he is but all in all he has not forgotten where he came from – Kibera number nane!

For years now the rapper has released interesting rap projects that have seen him rise to the top allowing him to compete with continental rappers and just a few Kenyan artists like Sage Chemutai.

Well, this is because he is an artist who charges fellow musicians some crazy amount when they knock at his door looking for collaborations with the ‘King of rap.’ Don’t get him wrong, but he only does this to musicians who have already established themselves in the music industry – however he chooses to work for free with upcoming artists since he wants to help.

Speaking during a recent interview, the rapper said:

“I don’t do collabos for the love, for the culture or for the game. I am in business, pure business. But it depends. Most upcoming artistes that I have worked with have never paid me because I liked their energy and hunger. But when I’m charging, it’s $2,000 (200,000).”

If indeed there is any truth to his statement, then I bet we will wait for a long time before we see him hitting the studio with fellow artistes in the country and East Africa.

Violence gripped Kenya since Thursday October 26th when section of the country went to vote in repeat presidential election. Police brutality and citizens attacking each are some the ugly pictures that we kept seeing since Thursday.

On Saturday October 28th Kawangware was turned into a war zone as rival factions clashed. Mothers, children and innocent residents were caught in the crossfire.

Kibera finest Octopizzo has since implored fellow musicians to speak up against the violence being witnessed. The rapper was recently embroiled in a beef with Jaguar over police brutality.

Artists who benefited from political campaigns

Octopizzo says all artists should stand up against violence and police brutality. The rapper asks artists who benefited from political campaigns to put themselves in the shoes of those families that has lost innocent kids to violence and police brutality.

Jaguar and Octopizzo’s beef gains momentum during Thursday repeat presidential election

Jaguar and Octopizzo’s beef started last week on Friday October 20th during Mashujaa Day celebrations. The two celebs rekindled their beef on Thursday October 26th during repeat presidential election.

The beef started when Octo confronted Jaguar claiming he didn’t do anything for Gikomba fire victims. Jaguar had taken to his Twitter handle to wish Kenyans a happy Mashujaa Day before Octo hijacked his tweet.

 

Octopizzo also criticized Jaguar for failing to condemn the brutal killings of youth. Police gunned down several young men during Nasa demonstrations in Nairobi and Nyanza.

Beef renewed on October 26th

On Thursday Jaguar was quick to mock Octopizzo following the drama in Kibera during repeat presidential election. Kibera Youth barricaded Olympic Primary School and engaged police in running battles in a bid to stop voting in the area.

Jaguar taunted Octopizzo saying he remained silent when the drama happened in Kibera.

“@OCTOPIZZO Kibera youth are engaging authorities in contest even after Nasa leaders urged their supporters to stay away. Yet u remain silent,” Jaguar tweeted.

Octo tweeted back sarcastically saying he would only respond to Jaguar when Gikomba market goes up in flames.

“Today I’ll ignore you coz I can’t reason crying men #StayInYourLaneBruh Ngoja gikomba ichomeke tutaongea,” Octopizzo tweeted.

Octopizzo: People like Roselyn Akombe are the reason I take my daughters to school

IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe resigned 7 days to presidential election. She was praised and condemned in equal measure following her decision to quit.

Akombe said IEBC was incapable of conducting a free, fair and credible election. She left the country on Tuesday to oversee IEBC printing of ballots in Dubai but instead she took a different flight to the US where she resigned.

Kibera rapper Octopizzo has hailed Akombe for resigning. Octo says the former IEBC commissioner is the reason why he takes his daughter and sisters to school.

Octo is specifically pleased by Akombe’s bravery. He says Akombe’s decision to resign was a good move to teach fellow ladies to standup when they are oppressed..

Even ‘bad boys’ can love and if you think I am joking then allow me to share the beautiful message rapper Octopizzo dedicated to his wife today when celebrating her as his #wcw.

We have watched some of his relationship fall apart and since he hated drama he always makes sure to keep his private life on the low. He is however a responsible father and despite having different baby mamas he always makes sure to look after his babies.

Away from that, he seems to have fallen hard for his wife who happens to be the mother of his daughter, Akinyi.

Earlier today Octopizzo sent this heartfelt message out to his wife talking about how hard he had fallen for her as she completes him in ways he cannot explain. He wrote saying,

Rapper Octopizzo has always proven to be a good dad to his kids. Though he prefers keeping his private life on the low, the fella sometimes takes time to celebrate his kids through his gram.

Well apart from Tracy – Octopizzo has other children who he has been open about. If i am not wrong he has two daughters from his different Caucasian women he was involved with a while back.

Away from that, the rapper is jetted into Berlin to celebrate one of his daughter’s birthday. From the photo he shared, he revealed that his adorable daughter is called Akinyi and judging from their smiles – one doesn’t need a DNA test to confirm that the two are related. Stop killing! Octopizzo urges the police after visiting Kibera slums

After the IEBC declared president Uhuru Kenyatta as the winner of the 2017 general elections – there were those who celebrated and of course those who were disappointed by the results.

For this reason most Youths supporting NASA came out on Saturday to demonstrate as they were not satisfied by the results. However, their demonstrations were not peaceful as some were caught on camera destroying public property forcing the police to meet them with the ‘same force’.

However, judging from what the mainstream media reported some of the policemen allegedly used live bullets killing a few people – forcing the likes of rapper Octopizzo to come out and speak about the issue.

The rapper who grew up in Kibera made a point of visiting this place to speak to the Youths on the importance of demonstrating peacefully in order to avoid a repeat of 2007/2008.

Later on, he shared a tweet through his twitter handle saying;

Top Kenyan celebrated artistes Octoppizo, Ali B, Timmy Tdat and Nyota Ndogo brought Mombasa to a halt last weekend during the ongoing countrywide Telkom sponsored Next Move Mombasa Street Concert.

Deejayed by the celebrated DJ’s Hassan and Andie and hyped by MC’s DNG and Mombasa’s Tony Boy, on Sunday at the iconic Mama Ngina Drive, the thrilling concert as expected turned out to be a sumptuous hit fest of stage shattering performances for the thousands of the Mombasa crowd.

Speaking after the concert, Octoppizo said,

 

“I’m excited to be in Mombasa and see so many fans here appreciating my music and those of other Kenyan artists like Ali B, Timmy Tdat and many more. I am sure that we will have an even bigger turn out if we go back again. It is clear that this was a party not to be missed especially for Telkom loyal consumers and our fans.”

The concert provided loyal Telkom consumers at the Coast the opportunity to experience a good musical experience.

Commenting on the bash, Telkom Chief for Corporate Communications, George Mlaghui said that the Mombasa party was part of telco’s new vibrant and energetic direction to excite their customers.

“Our new brand is customer centric and recognizes the resonance of music and entertainment in our customers’ dynamic lifestyles which we are happy to be part of.” said Mlaghui.

The next Telkom Street Bash goes to Eldoret on the 8th July, as part of the several planned activities for the new look Telkom to interact with its consumers.

After trolling Khaligraph Jones for bleaching rapper Octopizzo is back and this time around he has given his fans something to talk about.

The rapper debuted his new look on Instagram showing off his stylish braids to his fans. This comes as a surprise since he known for having a buzz cut, but this time he switched up the pace by opting for a stylish braids….which by the way look too hot!

Though the likes of Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize already pulled this hairdo – there is no doubt that Octopizzo did it better. He looks pretty pumped to show the new hairdo as he called a professional photographer, Kevin Buo to take his photos which were later shared on his social media pages.

It has been a while since we saw Octopizzo eldest daughter, Tracy. Well this could be because her dad has been busy with his musical tour abroad.

Anyway, just recently the rapper shared an adorable photo of Tracy as a throw back on his Instagram page appreciating his queen for being the best thing that ever happened to him.

Judging from this picture seems that Tracy is really turning out to be a fine young lady who will take after her daddy’s height in the near future. We don’t know what school she goes to but she seems living the life now that Octopizzo has been landing deals and making good money.

“Ntaifanya ocha” Octopizzo reveals details about his wedding with his new fiancée

Octopizzo split with his baby mama and hooked up with yet another white chick whom he’s set to exchange vows with.

Christine Fernades and Octopizzo broke up after years of dating, the two former lovers were embroiled in a court battle over the custody of their daughter Zara in September last year.

The Kibera rapper hooked up with another white chick after his relationship with Fernades hit rock bottom, he proposed to his new catch sometimes in September 2016.

Octo has confirmed that he will exchange vows with his fiancée in a wedding ceremony that will be held in his rural home in Ugenya, Siaya County.

Speaking to Larry Madowo on the Trend last Friday, Octopizzo said that he decided to hold his wedding upcountry because he felt that Ugenya is where his roots are.

“Ehh jo tunapanga, unaona nimeanza kuwa maze nini. Watoi wangu wamekuwa wakubwa lazima sasa nianze kuwa na adabu kiasi. So napanga harusi jo, ntawaita. Ntaifanya ocha yani, kiocha tu ju nafeel hizo ndo roots zangu jo,” Octo said on the Trend.

Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo’s fresh beef isn’t about to end anytime soon, people joining either side are further fueling the beef.

Yesterday May 10th Octopizzo drop a bomb that wiped off Khaligraph’s new diss track ‘Toa Tint’. Kibera’s finest shared a photo of Khaligraph and him as he narrated how Papa Jones desperately wanted to be like him.

“Once upon a time there was 2 Amigos, one of them was called Omolo, Omolo was a short FAT BLACK kid, he always talked very fast and caught feelings easily. Next to him was his mentor King Octo.

“Omolo admired King Octos lifestyle to an extent that he wanted to look like him in reality,but he couldn’t loose weight. 9 yrs later Omolo evolved from taking fast to rapping fast, it took him time though before People could understand why he was saying,people still don’t understand what he’s saying.

“But luckily 9yrs later he got a chance to visit Dubai,Landing there Omolo realized everybody was white and brown and he had a massive culture shock coz his accent wasn’t matching his looks;he had crazy insecurities like an Alshabab soldier,He tried to use unga but it didn’t work,then he ran to the next store and got body cream, His mentor king octo tried to reach him but couldn’t coz he was traveling in the United States for business.

Many have been talking about Khaligraph Jones since we all confirmed that he is indeed bleaching his face.

Kenyans on social media have even created memes trolling the fella for failing them and the self proclaimed king of Rap Octopizzo has also joined in as he wrote an open letter dedicated to Khaligraph Jones.

This comes as a surprise to many as the two have always had bad blood and of course Octopizzo could not let this opportunity pass without sharing his comments.

Through his Instagram page Octopizzo wrote expressing his shock moments after learning that Khaligraph Jones was now trying to lighten his skin. He goes on to add that he is willing to talk to the rapper in case he has self esteem issues. As expected he took a few jabs at the rapper which was expected from the beginning.
