A stand driven by his untamed desire to uplift the lives of the Kenyan community. Most especially his home, Nairobi’s Eastlands area.

Additionally stating that this serves his interest in being a voice for the African child and millions of people languishing in poverty.

With utter confidence, the thriving gospel singer did not mince his words when he expressed a strong desire to one day occupy the highest office on the Kenyan land.

Unfortunately, Kevin Bahati failed to disclose details of how he hopes to achieve this or whether he will start from the bottom.

History

We ought to recall that this is not his first to grace the political arena. Not so long ago, he single-handedly took over the president’s seat no matter how brief.

This was during the launch of the President’s Jubilee Party back in 2016.

Kenyans, political figures, first lady Margaret Kenyatta and even the President himself were taken aback by such kind of untamed confidence.

Well, whether the president’s security detail had taken leave or not, remains the Big Question. Moreover, the gospel kid has graced a couple of other political events.

Although after the incident that posed a threat to the President’s security, he was barred from ever going any closer to the 2 most powerful individuals on the Kenyan land.

Nowadays I can only wave to you from afar. I was told not to come near you during performances, but still, that’s okay. I’m still excited to sing in your presence and see you getting excited Bwana Deputy President.

And neither will he be the first to take such a sharp turn on the Kenyan land. Starting from Starehe MP Charles Njagua to Chris Darlin and now McDonald Mariga. Who knows who is next?
