Women ask me how I got pregnant – Kambua

Gospel singer and TV host, Kambua disclosed that women have been on her neck, asking what she did to get pregnant after 7 years of childlessness.

The now mother of 1 sadly revealed that people believe there is something she must have done to bear a child.

Sharing her story with Parents magazine, Mama Nate stated that trolls are the reason why she has not gone public about her child after delivery.

People are still trolling me about how I got pregnant – Kambua

Clearly stating that she has no answer to questions about her childbirth and only God can explain how she became a mum.

¨That´s why I tell people that Nathaniel is a miracle¨ she added.

Part of the reason I have been cautious about sharing my story with people on a larger scale is because ever since I got pregnant, I´ve had women ask me what exactly I did to get pregnant and I don´t have an answer for them. That´s why I tell people that Nathaniel is a miracle, and no one can take credit for it.

However, having gone through the battles, being bashed by society and shamed for lack of children, Kambua said she will speak for the voiceless.

My journey has been painful but I can now speak for other people -Kambua

The adorable gospel artist said she plans to create platforms where people will share their stories openly about infertility and get professional assistance thereafter.

I´m unafraid of having this kind of conversations because I know how it feels. My journey was painful, but it helped me speak up for other people who are constantly facing pressure from all kinds of places.

¨When the pain was gut wrenching, I never stopped believing..¨ Kambua pens thanksgiving letter to God

It had been 7 years of waiting and still counting, before God blessed gospel icon, Kambua and her husband with a child.

Years that broke her to pieces. Years when she was the center of humiliation. Years she got cyberbullied for lacking children.

But all these, were years when God taught her lessons and had numerous encounters with her. All to which she terms as ´priceless.´

My years of waiting were so daunting. But I wouldn’t take them back. The lessons God taught me…the encounters I have had with Him, are all priceless.

Despite the pain, the agony and the distress the TV personality went through, she still trusted in God and hoped for a better tomorrow.

When the pain was gut wrenching and my heart nearly drowned in tears, I never stopped believing that God would come through for me (whichever way He chose to).

As she clinches to her growing baby boy, it is but a reminder that ´God gives good gifts as her baby Nathaniel is a miracle.´

´A world-changer and a history-maker´ she revealed is what her hubby, Jackson Mathu refers to their son as.

And as I hold my toto today I am reminded that God gives good gifts. My baby Nathaniel is a miracle; He is, as my husband likes to say, a world-changer and a history-maker. And I believe His life will continue to bring glory to God.⠀

¨I was to feature in Parents magazine 4 years ago but I declined¨ Kambua explains why

Mama Nate, known to many as Kambua, would have featured in the Parents magazine 4 years ago but she declined, having borne no children.

Sharing her story online, the proud mother of a baby boy narrated how 4 years ago, Parents magazine approached her for a story but she opted out.

Reason being: lack of children. It only made sense to her that Parents magazine should be all about parents.

About 4years ago I met Eunice Mathu (Dir. Parent’s Magazine), in Wamba, Samburu. I’d gone there with AMREF Health Intl. for the Alternative Rites of Passage for girls. Anyway, she asked me to grace the cover of her magazine and I quickly declined, exclaiming, “But I have no children”!

I refused to feature in Parents magazine 4 years ago because I had no children – Kambua opens up

Despite the efforts by the magazine´s Director, there was no way the gospel singer was going to be enticed into signing up for the deal.

She insisted that even though I didn’t, I still had a voice to speak into that space. Well, I didn’t. I wasn’t ready.

But who is God? 4 years later, the Kenyan beauty can proudly boast as the cover girl of Parents magazine, March issue.

Looking at this cover my eyes well up because God was and is still writing my story. Thank you Eunice Mathu for finding me worthy even when I doubted myself.

Parents magazine March issue is out!

¨There´s not a day you made me feel less of a woman for being childless…¨ Kambua gallantly showers hubby with praise

Gospel sensation, Kambua recently had her baby shower, courtesy of kin and bosom friends but she reveals that hubby, Mr Mathu stood by her the longest.

In a long moving post on Instagram, Mama Nate showered her husband of nearly 8 years with praises, for being strong even when she was weak.

When God gave me you, He knew exactly what I needed. You have loved me, defended, and protected me. You spoke life to me even when curses & insults were piled on me.

You have loved me, defended, and protected me – Kambua to hubby, Pastor Jackson Mathu

Speaking of her childlessness that was at the center of cyber bullying by trolls, Kambua lauded her hubby for one thing:

There’s not a day in our (nearly 8) years of marriage that you made me feel less of a woman for not bearing children. You constantly reminded me that I am your companion, and I am enough.

Further admitting that with faith and hope of a better tomorrow, she can now afford a genuine smile as she admires her blessing in form of a baby boy.

But you also reminded me that God promised to fill our quiver, and I now watch in awe as He has began to fulfill His promise.

You constantly reminded me that I am your companion, and I am enough – Kambua gushes

Hopefully expressing:

To many more years Baba Muhoro. Father of my beautiful child(ren)! To many more ???? @jacksonmathu ????
