Singer Vanessa Mdee was arrested about a week by the Tanzanian police, as her name was in the list of the celebrities said to be using drugs and selling them.
And just like Wema Sepetu’s fate, the lass has not been released till now and most Tanzanian celebrities are now pleading for the government to release the lass. From the messages shared on social media, it it easy to tell that the lady is a people’s person.
Among the celebrities praying hard for her release is Barnaba who worked with her on hit song siri and Wema Sepetu who schooled with her back in high school. Through his social media pages Barnaba Classic wrote to say,

Her boyfriend on the other hand as remined quite and has not been on social media since her arrest. The lawyer hired to defend her has also been silent about the matter but fans are hoping that she will soon be released as they believe that the lass is a good person.
Her Kenyan friend, Victoria Kimani, has also not touched this topic but we believe they are hoping for the best at the end of the day.
