Watch: Douglas Lwanga makes Big Money at purple beach party

The purple beach party organized by NTV’s Douglas Lwanga made a statement on the party scene this weekend.

The party took place at Spenah beach and the Venue was filled to capacity and over flowed by 4pm. Douglas got a great array of talent including Vinka, Kabako, Latinum and big size Bebe Cool who made the crowd go wild when stepped in stage.

He dubbed, danced and sang to the dancers bums all through the performance. Kabako put up and energetic performance and so did the fresh fik fameica.

Douglas Lwanga is currently on cloud 9 after reaped big from the party.

Don Zella Shades Zari White Party

And the chaos continues between Self styled tycoon Don Zella and Socialite Zari Hassan.

The controversial city socialite has come out to shade rivals white party calling it a funeral rite. The girlpower party organized by don zella with friends former shadow’s Patricia Sewungu and Musician Cathy Kusasira will take place at club play on 21st december.

She is inviting Hamisa Mobetto as her Guest of honor to spite Zari given that Diamond cheated on Zari with her and got her pregnant.

The back story

This is the same day as the white party organised by Zari at guvnor which has been going on for the last three years. As we reported, the was an open Battle for the the date between the two big shots.

Zari is currently in the country but not in kampala city due to a family emergency concerning her mother’s passing so she would not respond.

Don Zella added saying that Funeral functions should only be held in villages like Kayunga where Zari’s ex husband Ivan Ssemwanga was laid to rest. She says Zari has decided to Organize hers in a club and dressed in white instead of shaving her head to mourn her dead husband.

Eddy Kenzo Show Half Empty VIP seats cause panic.

BET Award winning star Eddy Kenzo held his concert at Jahazi Pier  in Munyonyo this weekend.  Being the internationally acclaimed star that he is, we at least expected him to fill up the small venue but this was not the case.

Just like his counterpart Pallaso, Kenzo had very noticeable empty seats only filled by his friends and family. The empty  VIP red plastic chairs could be seen from space which prompted organizers to ask some people in the General audience to fill some of the empty seats.

By the time Kenzo started performing, many of the seats were not filled. He got on stage in a winter coat, hat and pull-neck black shirt that one would think he lost his way from he streets of Brooklyn.

He treated his fans to a live performance however some say this was not a smart move given the type of audience he has. However, fellow artists like Catherine Kusasira, Moreen Nantume and APass came out to support their collegue.

Hellen lukoma stole the show when she curtain raised for kenzo. She wore a micro mini white dress and danced erotically like she was high on something. She left many amused.

Media personalities Denzel and Miss Deedan have landed a new juicy deal with Uganda Breweries Limited.

They are the new brand ambassadors and the project they are working in is a “don’t drink and drive”. Champaign.

The 2 were chosen because of their appeal they have to the younger audiences given that they already have audiences with their Urban TV experience.

Not only is the champaign a worthy cause, but a also juicy in the money area. Cings guys!

Sources reveal that she has been constantly been beaten blue black while being accused of cheating with various Kampala men.

 

This is just sad given that she only just outted her baby daddy for being irresponsible and dead beat on his responsibility to their 5yearold daughter.

Zari Hassan is back with a bang with her annual All White Party after taking a break last year to attende to her son Nillian whom she was fresh from birthing.

We have learnt that Zari is set to fly in South Africa’s finest female disc spinner, DJ Zinhle. Sources close to the socialite told us that besides being a personal friend, Zari chose the SA DJ because of her talent that she wished her fans back home to enjoy.

Although little known in Uganda, the beautiful DJ Zinhle is not your average disc spinner – she’s ranked second among Young South African Achievers under 40 in 2017.

Dj Zinhle is expected to fly into Uganda next week ahead of the party which is slated for Thursday, December 21 at Club Guvnor.

Wizkid rejects Navio Collabo again

Navio must be consulting his ancestors at the moment because he was rejected yet again by Nigerian star wizkid for a collabo.

while wizkid was in the country for his show on Thursday some Ugandan musicians were plotting to make music with him so as to get famous too.

 

Navio is one such musician and took it even a step furtherer to storm his hotel room with 10000 dollars .

It is said that this is not the first time navio is begging for a collabo fro wizkid. Aparrently,he once caught up with him in Tanzania and in Rwanda as well.c

as they say, the rich also cry but we do hope Navio gets his collabo soon.o

Fik Fameica Electrifies ASFA crowd

Fik Fameica must be ASFAs best act todate. The youthful singer electrified the ASFA crowd last Saturday on the 4th Edition of the Awards.

The Kutama star managed to get every one on their feet including KCCA boss lady Jennifer Musisi.

With a great array of young dancers added a certain oomf to the show and it couldn’t have been better.

Meddie Sentongo Seeks Marriage Partner

Abanoonya of the year Meddie Sentongo is searching for a “marriage material” woman to settle down.

He said in an interview, “I have had fun to the fullest and it’s time to settle down. I need to start a family.”

Meddie has dated several girls and they include; Anita Fabiola, Bad Black, Corazon Kwamboka and Tanzanian socialite, Agnes Masogange.

Meddie came to the limelight when dated Bad Black. The two splashed cash in bars and rolled in big wheels.

However,All this was brought to a halt when they were accused of fleecing 11b from tycoon David Greenhalgh. They were found guilty and sent to jail, 11 months for Meddie and 4 years for Black.

Meddie says him and bad black are still friends due to their experiences. On the other hand she says he is passed tense and has found a new love in Brad Pitt.

Wizkid reportedly misses his flight again!

hWell well…Wizkid fans are about to die of pressure this time. The international superstar reportedly missed his scheduled connecting flight to South Africa

This  was supposed to ensure that he gets into Kampala by now.

This is the second time this is happening from the last time he was supposed to perform in Uganda at startimes year anniversary last year.

Face TV Bosses and booking agent Navio flew to Nigeria to ensure he makes it on time but oh well that didn’t help either.

Solution

However they insist that the missed flight will not deter him from coming and has been rescheduled. Wizkid is said to be touching down at Entebbe airport at 2:30pm today.

He will then address a press conference at Serena Hotel. Later do radio and TV interviews before headlining the Wizkid live in concert on Thursday evening at Cricket Oval in Lugogo.

Lit Fashion at the Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards 2017 (PAFA)

All fashion roads led to Sky Beach on Saturday 2nd Dec for the first edition of the Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards(PAFA).

The red carpet event was to award various fashion personalities across the country are to be hosted by a number of media personalities.

The evening was highlighted by fashion showcases by some of Uganda’s top design gurus including K.Raphael Couture, Kais Divo Collection, Eguana Kampala, and Jose House of Creations.

Local Artisits such as Cindy, Fik Fameica, and B2C. Dance groups, CathyViccyRoz and 256 kings kept the guests entertained all evening.

Face Tv Managers fly out to Nigeria to make sure Wizkid comes

Wizkid Did one on the face Tv team after he failed to turn up for the show last year when Startimes celebrated their 6 year anniversary in Uganda.
As say prevention is better than cure.  Face TV together with singer Navio, who is the booking agent, flew out on Sunday 3rd to join the singer.
 His six man band jetted in on Sunday Night to prepare their part of the show

A source revealed to us that ED of Face TV, Pejay Boaz is not about to allow last year’s mess to happen again.

He will come back with artiste and they expected to land on Entebbe International Airport today evening. Wizkid will perform on Thursday 7th at Lugogo Cricket Oval. This will be his second time in Uganda.

ykee benda listeners party

Local RnB Artist Ykee Benda put up a stellar show at his album listeners’ party at Fame Bar and Lounge, Kampala.

As it seems this is about to be a new hot trend for Artists in Uganda. Ykee took the stage at about 9pm and took the crowd through his entire album “kireka Boy”.

It includes songs like  “Muna Kampala”, “Malaika”, “Byonkola” , “Superman”, “Eva”, “Farmer”, and “Byonkola” among others.

The emcee of the evening, was comedian Salvado for whom Ykee curtain raised his “Man from Ombokolo show”.

Other Acts included dancer Eddie wizzy and Singer Jemimiah who also entertained the crowd.

Ykee Benda later returned and put up an energetic live performance. His performance fired up the crowd and kept them on their feet the entire time, most especially the ladies.

Chameleone Unplugged show turns into Money splashing contest

Jose Chameleone highlighted last week’s Unplugged show at Liquid Silk Naalya.  The Singer who had just returned from his world tour came with not only unrivaled energy, but also with some surplus cash.

Dressed in an ocean-blue three-piece suit with matching long sleeved shirt and tinted hair and The legend kicked off his energetic performance to a great reception from the crowd.

The Money Moves

When Chameleone performed his “Basiima Ogenze” hit which got his fans on their feet, the star proceeded to dish out UGX 20,000 notes to the revellers which caused excitement and confusion in the crowd.

His pompous show of wealth, excited some loaded basama who joined in and started dishing out money to the packed Naalya-based Liquid Silk crowd. Two particular Basaama by the names of Umar and Shira were spotted joining the money-throwing contest from their corners in the packed club.

For those in doubt over the Wizkid concert, worry no more. His band jetted in last night 3 Dec ahead of his concert to take place on Thursday.

The “closer” star was set to perform in Uganda earlier this year but failed to make it due to travel Document issues.

This time we believe better prep has been done. His band was welcomed by Press and Organisers of the concert officials.

The much anticipated show will take place this Thursday, December 7 at Lugogo Cricket Oval. Tickets to the show are now available at UGX25, 000(ordinary), UGX 75,000(VIP).

Local Singer Zaniw brown has launched a Christmas esque contest called “you and I”

Zanie  released You and I video early this month, for which she has initiated a singing contest for all her fans across the country where 3 winners will be selected to share ugx 1.7 million

The contest will run from December 1st to 23rd of December 2017 and the winners will be announced on 24th to receive their money that will come as Christmas gifts.

How to participate

BebeCool and his wife Zuena Kirema have today morning welcomed a new member to their family. Zuena has given birth to a bouncing baby girl.

“And finally this morning at 4:40,Allah has blessed our family with a bouncing baby girl and she will be called EMAN. Thanks for all your prayers as both mom and daughter are well.”

Frustrated Zari goes into senga Mode after being cheated on Again

Socialite Zari Hassan, has resorted into becoming a Senga because of her Hubby’s endless unfaithfulness.

On Monday, Zari learned that her baby daddy, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz,  has yet again sired another child from another woman known as Sebastian Tunda.

Frustrated Zari has resorted to advising young men about sex and how to keep a man.  She has surely seen days!

“When you look at various women, there is always something that you can admire until you wish to sleep with her, something different from your wife’s. May be it is boobs especially if she is yet to breast feed, may be it is hips, may be it is her lips , may be it is her complexion, may be it is her voice etc.
