The ASFA Awards 2018 was a time to remember one of the Fallen souls in the fashion industry. A make up artist and designer, who lost his life at a young age, Chuck. Barbie Kyagulanyi lifted his legacy at the event, by wearing one of his creations, and she looked amazing.

Celebrity Fashion stylist, Sylvia Owori surprised the whole country, when she started a war against wife to Kyadondo East MP, Barbie Kyagulanyi. In a brief Facebook comment, Sylvia mentioned that Barbie may not be fit to sit on the Geopolitics panel. Barbie gave a straight answer, with dignity and respect. Read the comments below.

Barbie was invited as a guest speaker at the conference to discuss several issues affecting females. The conference had other inspirational figures on the panel including Dr Mggie Kigozi, H.E Malac Deborah (American Ambassador to Uganda), H.E Stephanie Rivoal (French Ambassador to Uganda), Hon. Winnie Kiiza, and Sarah Sali (Dean school of women and gender studies MUK).
Sylvia Owori wasnt impressed as she went all guns out at Barbie Kyagulanyi as she questioned why the latter was picked by the French Embassy to present at the Geopolitics Conference yet there are other “influential women” in Uganda.
Barbie however didnt let that down her as she responded very respectfully.
Since the arrest of Bobi Wine, various Facebook users have posted statements of praise about his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi. Most have mentioned that she is the perfect woman. Well this link has penned a sweet message to her hubby for their Anniversary. Read below.
Bobi my love, today is our seventh wedding anniversary. Unlike the other anniversaries in the past, this one finds us in a court room in Gulu. It finds you in clutches, unable to walk by yourself. It finds you before a judge, making an application for you to be released on bail so that you can go for medical treatment. It finds you in physical pain.
On such days in the past, we would go to the beach or somewhere across the Atlantic. We would cut cake, have some wine and celebrate with our children. But today here we are. Still not sure if you’ll get your freedom or if you will be taken back to prison.
But let me tell you this. I have never been so proud of you. I am very proud that you are not before this judge because you did anything wrong. Not because you stole public funds or killed a person. You are before the judge because of standing for what you believe in. You have always told me that your dream is to live in a country which works for all citizens.
Everyday, you are working towards that. Our troubles these past days are a result of that effort. What I can do is once again promise to support you every step of the way. Not because Iam your wife but also your best friend.

3. Atim Daniella. She is a beauty. A pretty face that can handle it all. She has given amazing children to Jose Chameleon, and nurtured them to be whoever they want in this world.

4. Rema Namakula. Although not yet officially married, we can tell that Rema is the epitome of a woman who holds her family together. She is strong, beautiful and completely supportive. She is currently with the superstar, Eddy Kenzo, and showing what a real woman is.

5. Zari Hassan. Once again Zari appears, because she can make a man a superstar. The boss lady is a mother who never sheds a tear. She is also a business lady, and has taken care of strong boys. Zari is currently married to East African favourite, Diamond Platinumz.

Barbie Kyagulanyi and her last born daughter, Suubi Kyagulanyi are indeed mother-daughter goals. They are usually seen laughing heartily in various photos, and sharing precious fun filled moments.

It seems these partners in crime have scooped a new gig, to advertise Livara beauty products.
We came to know about this from Barbies social media platform, where she released some of the photos that featured in the advert, together with a post;

Barbie Kyagulanyi, wife to Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi has confessed to doing most of her shopping in Owino Market.
Unlike what many may perceive as a life of luxury where she doesn’t go even close to down town, barbie says even back then, her and fellow slay queens of those days braved the morning rain and mud to scuffle for mivumba.
Barbie took to Facebook to make the confession adding that it put her in trouble with her “high class” friends for letting out the secret.
She says that even to this day,she still occasionally goes to Owino to get some cute clothing.
But are we surprised? Barbie has remained one of the most down to earth celebrities we know to-date.
It feels nice to have a sibling. Someone you can blame when all things are going wrong, share clothes with, have little fights and share secrets with but most importantly someone who can cover for you when you go missing. He is a politician and a musician but still has enough time for his family. We all know that earlier this month, Hon Robert Kyagulanyi and Barbie Itungo’s daughter Shalom turned 9.

The family then threw for their girls a lovely birthday party on Sunday, and shared more than enough love. Happy belated birthday again, girls. Enjoy the amazing photographs from the party.
It has been a sad few days at the home of the Kyagulanyis but all that is bound to change.

4th October is a day of celebration. We all know that the family has four children, Shalom, Shadrack, Solomon and Suubi and today, Shalom, one of their daughters, and the oldest of the girls turns nine years old. Daddy’s little girl is growing very fast, and will soon be a young woman. On her 8th Birthday last year, her father posted;

Happy 8th birthday dear Shalom Namagembe Nalunkuuma. The female version of me and the representation of my mother. I love you beyond measure. May the Lord watch over you as you grow up into a Ugandan that we can all be proud of. Happy birthday again.”
This time, her mummy, Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi woke up very early in the morning and posted;
“Namagembe my love; what better day to celebrate you than the 4th October this year, You are alive today to see your 9th Birthday! Happy Birthday Shalom. We bless God for your presence in our lives.”
Shalom means peace, and Namagembe is also a very wonderful big sister to the little one and last born, Ssubi.

She is very bubbly, and smiley, and loves to take a lot of videos with her father. Happy Birthday Shalom, may you live to blow a gazillion candles, and grow up to be beautiful, caring, supportive and strong like your mother.
This political game is getting dirtier and dirtier. Someone out there is targeting the opposition MPs with a motive that is not completely known by the people of Uganda. Grenades are dropping from the sky and “mysteriously appearing” on their compounds. Recently, Hon Allan Ssewanyana and Robert Kyagulanyi have been attacked.
Grenades where thrown into MP Kyagulanyi Robert’s home in Magere, which exploded, but thanks to God he told the news that nobody got hurt. The honorable also confessed to the public that he has been constantly receiving death threats from a few weeks back, that he ignored.

Anonymous calls targeting not only me but my family as well. I have been told that if i don’t leave that thing alone, I will just be terminated and disabled! The world is watching.

Our sources also indicated that one grenade was thrown at their sons’ window and the other at their daughters’. This however did not please Barbie, and the mother decided to let her voice be heard. The other Red Ninja Members of Parliament decided to offer support by visiting their colleague at his home, sharing a few laughs and a cup of tea. However, they were all arrested and taken to Nagalama Police station. Once again, the Members of Parliament were released and this still does not scare Honorable Kyagulanyi as he indicated.
According to Wikipedia, Kisiizi hospital is a community hospital in the district of Rukungiri, South Western Uganda. It is located in Rubado sub county and one of the oldest Missionary founded hospitals in Kisiizi.
Heavy floods have submerged the hospital after the heavy rains and downpour on Sunday. The water swept downwards and washed the slopes of Nyarushanje and Nyakishenyi.

There was a lot of distraction worth millions, example a 300 watt generator, that supplied the main lighting, hence the processes of the hospital has been put on hold.This led to an unfortunate event of death of three babies who were in the incubator at the time the generator was disrupted. The floods entered and covered up many of the wards and their water sources have been damaged.

On 10th September, just three days after my birthday, Kisiizi hospital, a hospital I was born in flooded. The paediatrics and the women surgical wards were affected. Patients have been evacuated. There is so water and electricity supply. There is fear that the sewerage system has been messed up and raw sewerage is mixed up inn flooed water which is stagnant in the fiesld. As we pray for a friendly wet season in the hills of Rukungiri
