Watermelon! Wiper denies then re-announces Prezzo has their 2022 Kibra candidate

There was confusion on Tuesday after rapper Prezzo was unveiled as Wiper Party Kibra by-election candidate only for him to be rejected by the party then reannounced a fresh.

The party released a series of confused announcements but later clarified Prezzo will be their 2022 candidate and not November this year when the byelections are taking place.

2022

Wiper leader Kalonzo Mustapha and rapper Prezzo at press Conference

“He (Prezzo) wanted to vie but we had decided not to field a candidate because NASA supported us in the Embakasi South parliamentary seat therefore we will not field a candidate to spoil for our sister parties, he is our candidate (for Kibra) but in 2022 elections,” said the party’s spokesman.

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka made the announcement later on Twitter saying Prezzo will only run for 2022. Another source also claimed that the party’s social media accounts had been hacked.

Prezzo explains himself as to why he wished death upon Colonel Mustafa, things just got personal!

Just recently Mustafa Colonel was involved in a road accident that saw his fellow Nairobi Diaries co-star Luwi get admitted to hospital and is currently fighting for his life as he suffered major injuries.

However, when friends started sending get well Prezzo apparently said that Mustafa should have been the one in Luwi’s shoes since he deserves it.

Prezzo Mustapha

His statements caught many by surprise as many did not understand why Prezzo could wish death upon someone he has known for over 10 years now.

However…Prezzo has finally opened up to explain why he said this and boy does he sound mad. He wrote;

“Cha kwanza jiulizeni nilimkosea nini huyu uncle Kalulu? Cha pili we ni Mpumbavu kwa kumtukana Mamangu. Ila ntakuweka kwa maombi. My brother Luwi I love u and I know ur strong, I’m also not worried coz Allah is in control so it shall be well.#Rapcellency #TheMakiniTeam.”

He went on to add;

“Hii niliisoma na iliniuma sana. Hadi wa leo nakumbuka tarehe huyu taila alintukania mamangu mpendwa. So nilikuwa na interview juzi na @mpashogram nikafungua roho yangu kwa uchungu sana kwasaabu mamangu ni Mungu wangu wa pili. So uncle ukwaju, sijui uncle Mnato aliona ni jukumu lake kuntukania mamangu mpendwa. Kuna waloniingilia kuhusu nilichosema kwenye interview yangu waliponiuliza kumhusu huyu chakubimbi. On the real, I’d really like to take this moment to say….I am so so so apologetic to absolutely no one!!. Mamangu Ndio kila kitu Kwangu. Hakuna kalulu yeyote ana haki ya kumtukana. Bara letu la Africa linatufunza kuwaheshimu wazazi na wakubwa wetu so Mustapha tusi uliomtukana mamangu hata hivyo ni starehe ya babangu. Tafuta kiki kutoka kwangu mimi Prezzo na sio mamangu!!!#

But was is it really fair to say that?

“I can never fight a man like him!” Prezzo roasts Mustapha on air

So I guess Prezzo and Mustapha’s beef will not end anytime soon and this is because they both feel too superior to support each other’s careers.

For a while now we have all witnessed the two fight over what many term as ‘petty issues’ and now Prezzo has responded after Mustapha came out claiming that the reason all his women leave him (Prezzo) is because his bed skills game are too basic to satisfy his women. This is what he said,

Basically, let’s say his game is down. When they come to me, they say that he has not been satisfying them sexually. I take up the job as a brother and make them happy

Mzazi hanging out with Prezzo

However, speaking on Radio Citizen’s Mambo Mseto Prezzo fired shots at Mustapha calling him a primitive man who he can’t even think of fighting with.

“That guy is a primitive man, who has a short memory. I am never inclined toward battling him. Though, I understand his troubles. He wants to get back on his feet musically, but he is finding it to be very difficult. No one listens to his music, no one understands his music. Instead of politely approaching and requesting me – the king – to help him revive his career, which is headed for the abyss, he resorts to beefing.”

Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, the Makini king went on to add that;

“He should not beef with me to gain popularity. At my age, the music that I produce is top quality. I do not release songs such as Dodoma Singida. If he learns some manners, I will certainly boost him in his career. Moustapha is not a man I would fight; I would only undo my belt and whip him seriously. After he learns some manners, I would offer to help him find his feet.”

Anyway, I bet we are all waiting for the two keep quiet and release new music since we are already slaking in terms of producing good music like our brothers, Tanzanians.
