Vicmass goes on a wild rant after spending KSh 2M on Bank Otuch and coming out with only ‘experience’

Luo rapper Vicmass luodollar recently burst into a long rant after a Kenyan attacked him on social media.

The singer publicly aired his frustration after the attack saying that he has put in so much money on Simba Adeke and Bank Otuch which he featured Octopizzo but ended with only experience.

In the now deleted posts, the singer claimed that he doesn’t regret spending the money because it gave him mileage. Fans asked him to calm down and delete the post since it was giving him a bad image.

Hustler’s ambition

Before the singer became famous, Vicmass Luo Dollar was just a mere hawker trying to make ends meet. His Pesa Otas song however saw him move to greater heights to a point of even collaborating with Octopizzo who rarely collaborates with local artistes in the industry.

Vicmass shares his thoughts on Octopizzo’s new album: I rate it near 4:44 by JAY Z

Octopizzo has just released a new album called “Next Year” –his fourth — which is available via iTunes. Singles such as “Level UP”, “Jazzy”  and “Past” are already taking over the airwaves.

In an interview with Kenyan Vibe, his friend Vicmass Luodollar, who they teamed up in 2016 for the popular track Bank Outuch, shared his thoughts on his just released album saying it’s as good as Jay Z’ latest release.

“It is a masterpiece something you won’t hear from 3/4 of the albums released this year among African rappers starting with M.I and Cassper Nyovest (last year),” he said in the interview.

Upcoming artists need to be patient

The rapper also spoke on why most upcoming artists fail in the music business, blaming their lack of patience as the key reason.

“What young artist do wrong when starting is they don’t want to taste the process, ” Vicmass told Kenyan Vibe.

“They want to hit studio and become famous instantly. Nobody wants to be told, ‘hold on, you need to record at least 15 songs then choose three out of 15 to release’. Nobody wants to be told stop focusing on radio and TV and start building your fan base from social media platforms.”

“Don’t beg for collabos” Vicmass Luodollar tells off Willy Paul following row with Harmonize

Willy Paul expressed his dissatisfaction with Harmonize after they released a song together. The gospel singer felt shortchanged by the Bongo singer.

Willy felt Harmonize wasn’t doing enough to push their song ‘Pili Pili’. He complained about it on his post on social media without going into details.

The controversial singer subsequently explained what he was grumbling about. He said Harmonize quickly released another song after they dropped ‘Pili Pili’.

“The way we push our music here, they should also push our music. We are brothers. I feel like they have to play their part. If we are brothers, let’s be real brothers. Hakuna kitu naeza mwambia. Anajua vile tulikua tume-agree,” Willy Paul told Word Is.

Stop whining

Vicmass Luodollar has given his two cents on Willy Paul’s row with Harmonize. The rapper says Willy should stop begging for collaborations from other musicians.

“Point is don’t beg for collabos, let it come organically. so don’t cry over ROI -Return On Investment,” said Vicmass Luodollar.
