In the suicide case of his late wife Sharon Njeri, DJ Brownskin’s brother provides testimony

The family of a woman who took her own life by ingesting poison has asserted that DJ Brownskin, her husband, should have intervened and prevented the tragic incident.

Brownskin faced charges in June of the previous year for allegedly aiding his wife, Sharon Njeri Mwangi, in suicide. Additionally, he was charged with destroying evidence related to suicide from his phone on June 1, 2023.

In a video that went viral, DJ Brownskin was seen watching his wife die after ingesting the lethal poison.

Sharon’s brother, Benson Irungu, expressed during the trial that despite Sharon being violent, Brownskin should have taken the poison from her hands instead of merely observing her take her own life.

“When you see someone wants to harm themselves, you must try and stop them. Macharia should have taken the poison off her hands,” Irungu stated.

When asked if he knew why Sharon took the poison, Irungu mentioned issues with her husband but asserted that it was not to the extent of resorting to such a drastic measure. He noted that it was the first time she had attempted suicide.

Catherine, Irungu’s wife, who also testified, claimed that Brownskin incited Sharon to commit suicide based on the viral video where he allegedly said, “Mix them gather them.”

In an attempt to absolve his client of any wrongdoing, Brownskin’s advocate, Duncan Okatch, questioned Irungu about whether Brownskin would have taken Sharon to the hospital if he wanted her to die.

Irungu responded, “He wouldn’t have done that if he wanted my sister to die. In addition, he even informed us he had taken her to the hospital. He even organized and paid for medical fees amounting to 200k so that she could be treated.”

Irungu admitted that he did not get a chance to ask Brownskin why he didn’t intervene when his sister was taking the poison. Despite the evident issues in their relationship, Irungu considered it normal for any married couple.

The matter was adjourned to March 20.

‘I miss you so much’-DJ Brownskin Remembers Late Wife On First Anniversary Of Her Death

Popular Kenyan entertainer DJ Brownskin has marked the first anniversary of his wife’s death by paying tribute to her on social media.

Brownskin shared a post on Instagram stories that showed a lit candle in a dark background, with the song “I’ll Be Missing You” by P. Diddy and Faith Evans playing in the background. The song is a tribute to the late rapper Notorious B.I.G.

Brownskin’s wife, Sharon Njeri, died on July 29, 2022, after ingesting poison. The DJ was criticized for recording the last moments of her life, which were captured on video.

Njeri’s death was a shock to many, as she was reportedly a happy and healthy woman. The cause of her suicide is still unknown.

In his Instagram post, Brownskin did not mention the circumstances of his wife’s death. However, he expressed his grief and said that he would never forget her.

“It’s been a year since you left me,” he wrote. “I still can’t believe you’re gone. I miss you so much.”

Brownskin’s post was met with messages of support from his fans and friends. Many people offered their condolences and said that they were thinking of him during this difficult time.

The DJ’s tribute to his late wife is a reminder of the pain and loss that suicide can cause. It is also a reminder that mental health is important and that there is help available for those who are struggling.

DJ Brownskin released on Sh200,000 bond after court considers pre-bail report

DJ Brownskin, who is accused of aiding his wife’s suicide, has been released on a bond of Sh200,000.

The Milimani chief magistrate, Lukas Onyina, said he had considered the pre-bail report, which was in Brownskin’s favor.

“I have considered the report before me, which favors the accused as he is not a flight risk if released. I grant him a bond of Sh200,000 or a cash bail of Sh100,000,” Onyina ruled.

The case will come up for mention on June 22.

Last week, Brownskin was detained after the prosecution said his pre-bail report was not ready.

The same court also declined to allow Brownskin’s application to have the DCIO Kasarani summoned to court for contempt.

Brownskin’s lawyer, Duncan Okatch, had requested that DCIO Kasarani Jimmy Kimaru be summoned to appear in court for breaching court orders that released him before a Makadara court last week.

However, the court ruled that it cannot establish any offense of contempt since the court orders alleged to have been violated were issued by Makadara Law Courts, which has equal jurisdiction.

The DJ has denied the charges of aiding the suicide of his wife Sharon Njeri Mwangi on July 29, 2022.

He faced a second count of failing to use all reasonable force to prevent his wife from committing suicide, although he had knowledge that she was planning to commit suicide.

He was further charged with destroying suicidal evidence from his phone on June 1, 2023, having knowledge that the said evidence would be required in judicial proceedings.

DJ Brownskin’s bail hearing adjourned to today

DJ Brownskin, who was last week charged with abetting his wife’s suicide, will today know if he will be granted bail.

Brownskin, whose real name is Michael Macharia Njiiri, was accused of aiding the suicide of his wife, Sharon Njeri, last year. He spent the weekend in custody after the ruling on his bond was adjourned because a pre-bail report was not ready.

Milimani Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina was on Thursday due to make the ruling, but the prosecution requested more time, arguing that the pre-bail report was not ready. Onyina directed the case to come up today when the report will be ready for the bond ruling.

On Wednesday, the same court declined to allow DJ Brownskin’s application in which he sought to have the DCIO Kasarani summoned to court for contempt. Through his lawyer Duncan Okatch, the DJ had requested that DCIO Kasarani Jimmy Kimaru be summoned to appear in court for breaching court orders that released him before a Makadara court last week.

However, in a ruling by Onyina, the court said that it could not establish any offense of contempt since the court orders alleged to have been violated were issued by Makadara Law Courts which has equal jurisdiction. Brownskin was remanded at the Industrial area prison.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time in less than a week.

In a statement on Wednesday, Museveni said he first tested positive for the virus on June 7 and has been in self-isolation since then. He said he is feeling well and has no symptoms, but he will not be traveling to Poland and Russia as planned to mediate in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Museveni said he will send Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Gen. Jeje Odongo to represent him in Poland. Odongo will then travel to Russia to meet with Russian officials.

OG rapper Bamboo says DJ Brownskin is illuminati and gives this proof…

Veteran rapper Bamboo has come out to give his 2 cents on the discussion revolving around under siege entertainer DJ Brownskin who Kenyans have decided is among the lowest of creatures after a video he shot recording his wife’s self deletion attempt and the video eventually found its way to the public domain.

Allegation emerge that DJ Brownskin Fullu Fullu’s wife was biseggsual

Taking to his social media account, he said,

DJ Brownskin video recorded his wife drinking poison and dying right in front of his children. The sad part about this is that it could easily have been averted and Sharon Njeri would still be alive. If you look at this picture, you can see the 666 energy he is channeling in an effort to draw the maximum number of listeners to his show. But when you play with the devil, he takes no prisoners. Single ladies, marrying a man who is not truly born again is risky business! Don’t follow fame follow Jesus!

It should be noted that a few years ago, Bamboo seemed to be off his rocker when he went off on a rant about how he had been to hell and had returned with a testimony of who he saw in hell and how it was… The man says he literally went to hell and returned.

Allegation emerge that DJ Brownskin Fullu Fullu’s wife was biseggsual

A video from a close friend of the family purports to shed some light on the marital issues DJ Brownskin and his wife Sharon Njeri had and it is actually quite embarrassing if there is any truth to the allegations.

Kibe finally speaks up about DJ Brownskin

Can you imagine the type of humiliation and trauma the kids are being exposed to when they are finally old enough to understand all this mess? They will have to deal with the nightmares their mother has forced on them and then now these rumours…

DJ Brownskin is being accused of having slept with his wife’s friends. He would hunt within her friend circle and that took its toll on Njeri but we all already heard about the fact he was a philanderer.

What we were unawares of is the fact that Njeri is rumoured to have opened that door on her marriage when because she was biseggsual. According to the man who shared a video explaining what happened, she was openly bi and DJ Brownskin knew this about his wife when he signed on to be her man.

I have to wonder why the friends and family around this couple have decided to come out with their dirty linen. I can only wish Njeri can find the peace in death that she couldn’t find in life.

Kibe finally speaks up about DJ Brownskin

Andrew Kibe has spoken and wouldn’t you know it, he agrees with us! There is no way DJ Brownskin is culpable for anything and it was a very smart move of his to record the altercation that lead to his wife drinking poison.

Andrew Kibe Reacts To Samidoh’s Re-Union With His Wife On Daughter’s Birthday (Video)

We said the same thing yesterday. We do not know the circumstances leading up to this. He could have been planning to divorce her and sue for custody because he had realised his wife was mentally unstable.

And by all accounts, she was. DJ Brownskin had been for a long time dealing with a woman who would threaten self-harm for attention but also as a weapon against him. Andrew Kibe is right about the voices blaming him coming from idiots.

Andrew Kibe is right about Azimio attracting criminals

If you ask people why they are saying he is wrong, they simply say that it’s because she is his wife. But at some point you have to let people have full agency over their lives. If your wife or husband wants to end themselves, sometimes you need to take a step back and let them.

Kibe accepts he is a broken man

DJ Brownskin is not the bad guy here and if you have two brain cells left, you can rub them together and spark a thought… Hopefully, that sparks a fire of thinking because his wife was the one on the wrong. She literally started self-deletion in front of her kids! She chose to end her life in front of her kids regardless of the trauma she was going to scar them with.

DJ Brownskin father in-law cries for justice for Njeri

DJ Brownskin and his now-deceased wife have made headlines after a video surfaced that featured him recording herself make an attempt on her life.

Real reason revealed: DJ Brownskin Fullu Fullu’s wife didn’t die from drinking poison

Speaking on camera about the incident that unfolded and the buzz the video has generated, Njeri’s father who cut the image of a broken man shared his disappointment at the conduct of his son in-law , DJ Brownskin, who did nothing but chose to document what had happened.

He said he is unhappy that social media has refused to allow him to heal. He spoke about the fact that he received a call and was informed that his daughter had taken poison but as far as he was aware, the couple had a happy life together with their two children.

He went on to state his disappointment at the fact that DJ Brownskin took the video of her attempt on her life. He says his daughter ended her life because of her love for him. He went on to say he was disappointed that his son-inlaw took a corpse to the hospital rather than a sick person.

DJ Brownskin is not responsible for his wife’s self deletion

He went on to say “sina ubaya” while simultaneously appealing for justice for his daughter whose decency and dignity he felt were violated by DJ Brownskin Fullu Fullu’s video.

We need to remember that the man is still in mourning and it will take time for him to find peace. It’s still unclear whether his pleas for justice are due to the self deletion and lack of assistance from DJ Brownskin or whether it is due to the video being leaked and shared.

However, it has come to our attention that this video was taken following an unsuccessful attempt by Njeri at ending her life. She was rushed to hospital and was later discharged according to reports by the family’s friends and neighbours.

Real reason revealed: DJ Brownskin Fullu Fullu’s wife didn’t die from drinking poison

DJ Brownskin is currently getting roasted by Kenyans after a video surfaced that shows him recording a self-deletion attempt by his wife. She had made a poisonous concoction which she then drinks and he watches her do so without moving a muscle.

DJ Brownskin is not responsible for his wife’s self deletion

Kenyans are under the wrong impression; they think this was what led her to her death. It wasn’t. After she drank her poison, he rushed her to a hospital (despite what the video shows) and she managed to make a full recovery.

If he is guilty of anything from that video, it is of showing such poor judgement that he made a recording of her and then shared said recording. He was right to make the recording because it would serve as evidence of the mental instability she was dealing with in the event of a divorce and child custody battle.

But what is of concern is the fact that the video was leaked months after DJ Brownskin’s wife successfully committed suicide and was interred back in August 2022. Why has it taken so long for the video to surface and to what ends?

And why isn’t the full story being shared as well? The DJ’s wife self-deleted by hanging, not by ingesting poison. And she chose to do all that in front of the couple’s children. That is not a mentally stable individual and to continue attacking DJ Brownskin Fullu Fullu is wrong.

Especially when you find out that she had a history of self-deletion attempts. The couple’s neighbours have come out to reveal that Njeri was depressed but also had serious mental health issues for which she never sought any help. What was DJ Brownskin to do?

DJ Brownskin is not responsible for his wife’s self deletion

The internet was shocked to watch the video that featured DJ Brownskin’s wife and the mother of his children, Sharon Njeri Mwangi drinking poison and successfully committing suicide and the resultant revolt at what we watched is understandable but not justifiable.

What I mean by that is the fact that Kenyans have decided that what he did was wrong. He should have intervened and attempted to either talk his wife out of her self-deletion or intervened physically to stop her from taking the drink or tried to rush her to a hospital instead of filming what unfolded.

But that is simply because society tends to infantilise women and this is a clear example of such. Whether or not you agree with DJ Brownskin not intervening, you have to admit that his wife, Njeri was an adult who made the decision to end her life rather than leave their marital home and even the marriage.

And the truth of the matter is that what she did was unbelievably selfish. She decided to take her own life right in front of her children and their house-help in order to punish her husband for whatever transgressions he had made against her and their marriage. Let that one simmer for a while… She decided to traumatise her children for the rest of their lives as a way to punish her husband.

That is in a word evil. Dj Brownskin shouldn’t be held responsible for an evil, evil act of selfishness that his wife decided to expose their children to. Whatever they were going through, that was between 2 adults, there are always options available that aren’t as drastic as taking one’s own life.

Kenyans are upset at the wrong person. DJ Brownskin is a cold, unfeeling person. He watched another human being take their own life. That is a level of zero Fs that most people claim to aspire to but few can follow through on. There has to have been a dam breaker moment where he decided he was done caring for her and we should wait to find out what it was.

According to rumours, however, he is a philanderer with little remorse and his lovers would call his wife to gloat about their escapades. Perhaps that pushed her over the edge but I would like to think that a functional human being would look for different ways to deal. Only a clinically depressed and vindictive soul would go for such a horrific and scarring option to expose her children to.

But Kenyans want blood. And his neck is on the block. Dj Brownskin will be subjected to the worst witchhunt as Kenyans seek to blame him for simply choosing his sanity rather than involve himself in the drama that was his wife’s self deletion.
