The late Ivan Ssemwanga’s close friend admitted in hospital in critical condition

Word has it that The Team Money (TMT) member, Cameroon Gitawo is currently battling for his dear life in a South African hospital where he was recently admitted due to an unknown illness.

The fella who was a close friend to the late Ivan Ssemwanga is said to have fallen ill since his dear friend , Ivan Semwanga passed on after a ‘heart condition’ as reported by close sources to the money team.

“He has been sick for weeks now. He was admitted to ICU unit”

The source went on to add that Zari has already paid a visit to Gitaawo and his family has been spending time at the hospital as they wait for him to wake up.

 “Zari was among the first people to visit him when the news broke that he had been admitted.”

Doctors have however not revealed what the problem could be but we are hoping he feels better.

 

Diamond confirms he will leave Nairobi for Kampala to attend Ivan Ssemwanga’s burial

Diamond Platnumz is set to headline the 17th edition of Koroga Festival on Sunday May 28th; the Tanzanian superstar has already touched down in Nairobi.

Baba Tiffah has confirmed that he will travel to Uganda to attend the burial of Zari Hassan’s ex husband Ivan Ssemwanga who died at a South African hospital a few days ago.

‘Marry You’ hit maker was last night May 26th interviewed by Larry Madowo on the Trend during a special session held at the University of Nairobi.

Diamond said that he will travel to Uganda once he’s done with his performance at Koroga festival, he explained that he couldn’t cancel the show to be with his wife because he had already been booked early before Ivan passed on.

“Well kwa ukweli ulikua ni wakati mgumu na mbaka saa hivi ni wakati mgumu kwasababu nlikua nko booked muda kidogo kuhusiana na Korogo festival, na msiba umetokea sasa kucancel tu ghafla show ya watu unajua inawezekana ukapata taswira tofauti, wengine wakachukua tofauti. Sikua na jinsi. So, lakini nliongea na mzazi mwenzangu (Zari) akanielewa, lakini nikimaliza hapa show tu na ntaenda Uganda kwasababu ya mazishi, kuzika. Baada ya hapo ndo ntarudi nyumbani,” Diamond explained.

The Tanzanian superstar also talked about several things during his interview on the Trend; why he hasn’t dropped a song with Zari, why he doesn’t want his daughter Tiffah to be a musician, why he wears expensive jewelry, why he drops two types of music targeting different markets etc.

Ivan Ssemwanga’s poor relatives forced to repair village house to avoid embarrassment during his burial ceremony (Photos)

It is still sad to think that Ivan Don is no more but life has to move on since there is nothing we can do about it.

His family has already released details about his funeral and according to them Ssemwanga will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

His relatives back at home in Uganda have been preparing for his funeral and according to sources on social media, they are repairing the compound and are expected to reconnect the power which apparently was disconnected about a year ago.

Residents say that the late tycoon has not been helping his community since he did not own any property in Kayunga where he will be laid to rest. However they are now left clearing bushes and the grave yard to avoid embarrassment when friends to the village where Ssemwanga will be laid to rest.

Sad! Zari Hassan confirms her ex husband Ivan Ssemwanga has died

Ivan Ssemwanga has passed on while receiving treatment at Steve Biko Hospital in Pretoria, South African. The deceased was the father of Zari Hassan’s three boys.

Zari has confirmed her ex husband has died; yesterday social media was awash with rumors of Ivan’s passing but no one really knew the truth of the matter.

“God loves those that are special and that’s exactly who you were & I guess that’s why he wanted you to himself. You have touched and helped thousands, you did wonders and I remember you telling me “life is too short Zee let me live it to the fullest.

“This very dark hour it makes sense why you always said those words to me. To your sons, you were a hero-some kind of superman. Anyone who has ever been in your presence knows what a charming person you were.

“You will be missed and remembered in so many ways. You were IVAN THE GREAT!” Zari wrote on social media.

Unconfirmed report claims that Ivan went into cardiac arrest and failed to recover. The family is yet to release details of his death.

Meanwhile Ugandan celebrities and people from all over have been sending their condolences to Ivan’s family following confirmation of his death.
