Wizkid: I have several songs with Sauti Sol that we have never released

Nigerian singer Wizkid has revealed that he has several collabos with Sauti Sol that have not seen the light yet because they still need a few more touches before being released.

Speaking with Daily Nation, the singer who was recently in Kenyan for Katika Fest said that he always hits the studio with them whenever in Kenya.

“I am always in studio with Sauti Sol every time I am here, creating art with those talented guys; they are amazing. I love their sound and that’s why I am excited about this trip – because we still have some work,” he said in the interview. It’s true that we haven’t released anything yet but I will tell you this, we are still recording. We already have like five, six songs together that we are working on and many more to come.”

Love for Kenya

Wizkid always explained why he loves Kenya and is visits the country whenever he gets the opportunity.

“I do. I have some amazing friends in this country, that’s why whenever I receive a call to come here I never hesitate to come down; I’ve never thought twice about it. Besides, my team and I did some research and realised most of my fans are Kenyans and Nigerians — that’s why I don’t take such visits for granted.” he said.

British comedian Michael Dapaah AKA Big Shaq is getting ready to make Kenyans go  skrrrahh, pap, pap, ka Ka.

The comedian, together with Keri Hilson, Bobby V and Horace Brown are set to be in Kenya on August 3 and join Habida, Sage, Khaligraph, June Gachui Steph Kapela and Shukid for the highly anticipated Terminal Music Weekend which will be held at the KICC.

The weekend will also host DJ Joe Grinds who is an international DJ from the UK and he will perform alongside local DJ’s Stylez, Pinye, Adrian, Mixmaster Lenny and G Money.

“It’s great when the appreciation culture for local acts in the space of international acts, shifts for the better and this is a good opportunity to allow that to continue to happen,” said Chemutai Sage.

Grow talent

The Terminal Weekend, a new annual event, is set to do exactly that by making sure Kenyan artists get a chance to show case their talent alongside international names.

The artists are already posting messages about the show on social media, hyping fans to attend the show.

Wizkid brings down KICC with an electrifying performance despite the rain!

On Saturday 22nd July, Nigerian singer Wizkid managed to attract an audience of over 10 thousand fans who availed themselves to catch a glimpse of the singer performing in Nairobi.

Wizkid totally shutdown Nairobi as fans struggled to get into KICC even after he was done performing. Word has it that the police were forced to come help out the bouncers as the crowd had gotten out of control.

The singer however completely pulled off a great show in Nairobi despite the star girl (Huddah) jetted off to Tanzania where American rapper Future was performing alongside South African rapper,Cassper Nyovest.

Anyway, Wizkid continues to wow many as he leaves no stone unturned as he takes his performances round the world. Watch his amazing performance in Kenya.
