Rapper Colonel Mustafa responds after he was accused of being Gay

Rapper Colonel Mustafa must have had a long day yesterday following a gay alert post about him shared by one Trap King Chrome.

According to Trap King, Mustafa has been gay for a while now and has just been using Noti Flow as a cover up to avoid people from finding out — that he is in a serious relationship with another man.

In a post seen by Ghafla, Trap King wrote saying;

I have no problems with homosexuals but you on TV every Monday lying to the fans that you’re straight and we all know you got a boyfriend living in your house. Just come out the closet already I’m sure your fans will support you just stop living in denial man. I know you gonna hate me for this but it’s time all the games and lies stop. Mustafa responds

Well, just as expected Mustafa has distanced himself from the accusations saying that Trap King had been sent by the Nairobi Diaries management to tarnish his name.

From several posts shared on his WhatsApp story, Colonel says that Nairobi Diaries has refused to pay him his money and were only using Trap King to spread false stories in-order to throw off people from following up with the money they owe Mustafa.

WCB CEO, Diamond Platnumz finally speaks about the discrimination his Wasafi Festival tour has had on fellow bongo artists.

According to him, it might seem easy but planning for the Wasafi Festival tours are nothing easy.

Tight budgets however, cannot afford him to invite homegrown artists from specific regions.

According to him, artists should grace different gigs and even avail themselves as stakeholders in some of these events where sponsors might not be available.

Diana Marua opens up about her battle with postpartum depression

Postpartum depression is no joke and any mother can tell you this for free!

Diana Marua who is married to gospel singer Bahati recently revealed that she also went through a dark phase with depression shortly after her daughter, Heaven was born.

According to Marua, she jumped into depression despite having a husband and nanny who had been helping her out with the baby. She however made it clear that exhaustion and the none stop cry of her newborn left her in a difficult position that resulted to depression.

“When I got Heaven, that was the worst time of my life. I got post-partum depression. I had a husband and a nanny,”

On the video shared on her Instagram page, Diana Marua also went on to add that her husband’s busy schedule also contributed to her depression since he was no where to be seen at the time for moral support.

“The support system is key. My hubby started being busy, he was coming home late and had early mornings. You’ve done everything and the baby is still crying.”

Anyway in a new post seen by Ghafla, Diana Marua went on to urge women who have battled postpartum depression to speak up and get help – since this is no joke! Through her Instagram Diana Marua wrote;

Youthful Churchill comedian, Njenga Mswahili met his untimely death in a mysterious way. Just like the norm, everyone shows up when tragedy strikes, tragedy that leaves regrets behind.

Those left behind can only say ¨How I wish I would have…¨ But nothing can be done about it.

Former Churchill show comedian and now an African brand, Eric Omondi has confessed that friends knew Mr Njenga was not doing well, but they never gave a hand.

Eric was very aware of the fellow comedian´s financial struggles which might have fueled depression before channeling suicidal thoughts.

Njenga Mswahili at one point got born again and started his preaching journey.

Speaking to Radio Milele, Eric revealed that he once met Mr Njenga in a mall and purchased a couple of items for him.

The last I remember, I heard that Njenga was born again and that he had started going around preaching, a few months later I met him at the former Nakumatt Junction where he went on to tell me that he was not doing well. We were at the supermarket section where I went on to pick out a few items for him.

But a month later, reports were that Mswahili had been arrested for shoplifting. Apparently, Mr Njenga battled depression for a whooping 3 years.

What leaves him with regrets is fact that Eric knew Mr Njenga´s situation but never helped.

I also blame myself for assuming he’ll be alright especially due to the natural habit of assuming men can battle themselves out of any situation.

Unfortunately, friends he would have easily considered as family, were never there for him during the darkest times.

Njenga was crying out for help during his darkest times but everyone -including me, was simply too busy with our own lives to lend a hand, it’s like we have lost our humanity.

According to Eric, the greatest challenge men have is, speaking out. They rather battle their issues privately otherwise society will see them as ´weak´.

Finally, they get a ride of his choice and it is now surprise-time for his wifey, Nimo and he tries to gather all kinds of surprise tactics from his friend.

Ugandan songbird, Tracy Kirabo better known as Pia Pounds has come out to pin the blame on Eddy Kenzo´s ex, Rema for her sabotaged music career.

This she stated during an interview with BBS TV saying that she was under Kenzo´s mentorship but that ended before it even started.

…I had a dream to be a continental star when Eddy Kenzo signed me under his label but it didn´t come to pass. I ended up quitting Big Talent and it is now 10 months.

According to Pia Pounds, just as Eddy Kenzo was about to sign her into his ¨Big Talent´ label, rumors started doing the rounds.

And Rema forced her out after believing that the two had something intimate going on. According to Pia, Rema was uncomfortable every time Pia spent with Kenzo in the studios.

Popular Kenyan rapper, Khaligraph Jones was disappointed after fans robbed him off his Ksh 60,000 chain but apparently, it was not stolen in Kisumu.

Saturday, October the 26th, Khaligraph had his show go down in the lakeside city, a performance that reportedly saw a fan snatch off his valuable neck piece.

So he left stage to mingle with fans. Getting back on stage, he announced he was missing his chain but sent his love their way, regardless.

Award-winning comedy act, Eric Omondi has fueled confusion among fans after revealing Chantal will fly in for Christmas barely days after confirming they talk daily.

What raised eyebrows most was fact that even after dumping Maribe for Chantal before reversing the situation, he still has no stand on his woman.

If anything, it has left us more confused. Out having a lifetime with Jackie and their son, but still in daily contact with Chantal.

This song has however left many speculating that he dedicated it to his ex wife Amina Khalef who apparently walked out on the singer due to personal reasons that also involved the singer’s sisters and mother.

Comedian Ebitoke who is popularly known by her Bongo fans earlier today left many dumbfounded after attacking her ex boyfriend’s new lover at a press conference in Dar Es Salaam.

Apparently Ebitoke had been in a serious relationship with one Mlela who seems to have moved on with a video queen called Stella.

This however seems to have angered the comedian who could no longer stomach seeing her ex boyfriend flaunting another lady just a few weeks after they called off their relationship.

From the stories circulating on social media, word has it that comedian Ebitoke decided to ambush her ex Mlela who had called journalists for a press conference at a certain hotel in Dar Es Salaam.

The Tanzanian businesswoman has been parading her enviable ´fiance´online soon after her split with ex-hubby, Petit Man.

Over the weekend, the legendary producer penned a long, yet soulful message online, that moved fans and followers to tears.

The sultry Mombasa artist revealed that the reason behind their split, remains a signed covenant between them, that none can let out.

Something that saw their relationship go into shambles. She had had enough of him and she decided to do things her own way, she became ´hard-headed´.

We started getting into deep arguments. It was really crazy. It got to a place where we couldn´t move on. When he was dating me he had another girlfriend. I left and from there I became a very hard-headed woman. I moved out of my mum´s house and lived alone.

Meanwhile, Raburu was going through tough times. Matter of fact, the Citizen TV journalist became ´a laughing stock´.

When we called it quits, I went into a downward spiral. Wasichana walinijua. I was hurt because everybody is reminding me I can´t keep a girlfriend. For me, it was really painful. Then I became a workaholic. It was a mess.

Later on, Marya confronted Raburu when he came late for church. Six months down the line, Marya started selling cologne on Facebook, and Raburu savored the chance, to chat her up.

Raburu then had to postpone three of their dates before the dust settled for them, and here they are. Blossoming if not anything more.

Kenyan contemporary music artist, Juliani is having a tough time after his close ally, Bob Collymore´s untimely death.

Speaking during K24´s Betty Kyallo weekend show, the ´Exponential Potential´ rapper revealed that he feels insecure in Collymore´s absence.

Juliani is currently working on a mentorship project dubbed ¨Dandora Hip Hop City¨.

You know when you are doing things people see like you are going crazy. But one needs someone to affirm them that they are fine. This is the role Bob Collymore played on my end. You know there are those kind of people who in case you get into something they are the first ones to look up and they won’t let you. I could tell him Bob send me KSh 1k and would do so without probing a lot. If I was in a problem, I only made a call to him and he was quick to respond. Citizen TV’s news anchor Rashid Abdalla finally introduced his mum to his loyal Instagram fans leaving many tongues wagging thanks to their striking resemblance.

This being the very first Rashid Abdalla is unveiling his mum since he has always been quite private with his personal life; it appears that this gesture was to praise her for being a strong parent to the anchor despite her unknown sickness.

What Ali Kiba had to say after turning down Diamond´s offer

Ali Kiba was invited to Diamond´s Wasafi Festival 2019 but he turned down the offer. However, he clarifies why he did that because for him – they have no beef.

Speaking during a press conference held on Friday in Dar, ahead of the Festival, King Kiba clarified to journalists:

Nafurahia sana muziki wa Diamond naomba muendelee kumsapoti kwa sababu ni msanii mzuri, anafanya kazi nzuri na anawakilisha nchi yetu. TRACE Mziki set to take over the Kenyan entertainment scene

East Africa´s leading music channel, TRACE Mziki has officially finalized the acquisition of a 70% stake in Qwetu Radio. A deal that started off back in September 2018.

It now gives the global urban music television and entertainment network a holding in Kenya´s highly competitive urban radio entertainment section.

Trace already set up its East African hub in Westlands, Nairobi. Danny Mucira, the MD for the East African cluster, steps in as the lead in Kenya.

Wednesday, the 6th of November 2019, Trace launched its newly branded, Trace Radio 95.3 FM which is exclusively for music.

Olivier Laouchez, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Trace globally, said:

Our vision is to increase this, to become the music radio market leader in Kenya by 2022. With Trace Radio 95.3, we are currently working to build a sustainable business model. The company is set to inherit Qwetu Radio´s estimated 4% market share in the urban music and entertainment category in Kenya.

Products

Trace´s new products are: Trace Radio 95.3 FM, Trace Gospel and Trace Play. Plus the already established Trace Mziki that controls about 66% market in the Kenya music TV category.

Meanwhile, plans to launch Trace Academia portal are underway. This will enable the free accessibility of educative and creative content online.

Therefore targeted towards empowering youths to explore their gifts and potential in the creative arts sector.

I was being real with him, I told him, this thing is not going to be easy and you have to develop skills of how to live with each other because we are not taught those things. Nowadays we are lucky, now, there are books that talk about emotional intelligence to understand the differences, to understand the emotions. If you don’t, you miscommunicate so much mpaka unashindwa why this thing is not working out.

Producer Magix Enga might have miscalculated his move when he decided to call out Harmonize for allegedly stealing his beat which the TZ artist used for his ‘Uno’ hit song.

According to Magix Enga, Harmonize did not put any effort in his latest snob since he just copy and pasted the same beat used on King Kaka’s Dundaing hit.

However it appears that Harmonize aka Jeshi’s fans have been paying attention to the music they listen to.

Shortly after Magix Enga’s post on Instagram, most of Harmonize’s fans couldn’t help but blast the Kenyan producer for being quite forgetful when it comes to who stole from who.

It is sad that some Kenyan women do not get to choose when they want to get pregnant – Mwalimu Rachel´s public outcry

NRG lead radio presenter and host, Mwalimu Rachel has come out to explain the need for her birth control and many more for women in Kenya.

First, she doesn´t understand why it is a big deal for her to renew her 5-year birth control implant.

Funny enough, Kenyans have called it ´a ticket to sleeping around dry fry.´

But she doesn´t get why women should not be allowed the freedom to choose when they want to have kids.

According to her, it is saddening that despite having a way to actually determine when a woman gets pregnant, some Kenyan women are suffering in the hands of ignorance.

It is heartbreaking for her that there are women out here who are constantly getting in the delivery room.

Advice

Her advice is one: Ladies, find a method that works FOR YOU. It doesn´t matter what the world says, women should do it for themselves because it is ¨Liberating.¨

Well, she was scared like very other woman, at first, but soon after engaging her gynecologist, she was told: Do what’s right by Rachel not pressure by society or a gap issue.
