After much push and pull, dancehall King has finally given in and sets foot in Kenya come 7th September 2019.

On the 10th of July, he let his excited Kenyan fans know that he has decided to return home.

The Jamaican star is set to grace the September edition of The Hype Festival.

However, Konshens is just one of the 3 music bigwigs expected to perform at the festival.

The big announcement on Twitter came after speculations with many trying to figure out who the main act at the festival will be.

Nonso Amadi comes second with the third and final headline act still on the loose until later today.

Kenya´s youthful yet controversial Ethic Entertainment group will be performing at the festival under their new management, Al records.

Fans cannot wait to have the group perform their ´Figa´ dancehall remix that features Konshens.

Other artistes expected to be present are: The Kansoul, Ochungulo, Bensoul, Nviiri the storyteller, Wabebe´s Gwaash, Wamlambez´ Sailors and Chris Kaiga.

The Hype Festival, September edition goes down come the 7th of September at the Ngong Racecourse.

Hype Group Ltd in April pushed the festival to the 29th of June before now pushing it to September, due to unavoidable circumstances.

Early bird tickets go for Ksh 2,000 until the 31st of July 2019.

Tanasha Donna clears the air about a cigar she is seen smoking in her new video, ¨Naheasy¨.

Having released the new video just yesterday, the 10th of July 2019, it kicks off with a lady seemingly kidnapped.

The radio personality then peeps out of a window, smoking cigar.

Diamond´s fianceé admits that the song´s video was shot while she was 6 months pregnant, therefore eliciting questions concerning the health of her pregnancy.

Up on social media, she however clarifies that for one she cannot stand cigar let alone the smoke because they stink and are gross.

Second, she kept the smoke away from her lungs, having done it all for the smoke effect.

And thirdly, soon after the entire shoot, she went for a quick checkup to ensure all was well both for her and for their unborn son.

NTV show host, Janet Mbugua has asked that Ebru TV issues an apology for airing a derogatory video disguised as a skit.

Up on social media, the celebrated media personality was irate with the entire skit´s plot that seemingly glorified street harassment as a source for TV content.

In the video, a male actor, supposedly one of Ebru´s own employees, makes aggressive approaches towards a couple of women in the streets before probing their life choices.

Some straight up ignore him and he decides to launch attacks on them faulting them for categorizing all men as uncaring.

According to the actor, women in reality give men their backs as a way of ignoring their advances and it is not that men are uncaring.

On Tuesday afternoon the soon to be mum shared a detailed post revealing a few details about her pregnancy journey many knew nothing about.

Tanasha says that the pregnancy happened a bit too fast as she did not expect it. At one particular time she felt convinced that they had rushed into starting a family; but with time she fell in love with the baby growing inside her.

Kenyan hip hop artiste, Octopizzo reveals his intentions to help the youth deal with mental health.

This comes after the Kibera-bred artiste faced accusations of murdering a former Strathmore University student, Kenneth Abom in his apartment.

He however, over and over again dismissed the allegations, coming out to clear his name and forewarn anyone trying to tarnish his legacy.

This order of events has affected him mentally and emotionally to date trying to find means to curb mental health that leads to fatal suicidal thoughts.

The performing artist shares this during last week´s Headspace254 event at the Kenya Cultural Centre.
