Capital FM’s presenter flaunts her body after shedding off unwanted weight (Photos)

Miss Mandii, a renown radio personality who now well known for her throw down show recently revealed that she has been working hard at the gym to lose some of the unwanted weight she had been struggling with for quite sometime.

She shared a photo through her Instagram page to show a before and after photo which she accompanied with a lengthy caption talking about her weight journey. Miss Mandii reveled that it took about 4 months to get where she is now but this was only possible because she had to be patient. She wrote;

New body, who dis ? || Every year for my birthday (April 25th) I usually gift myself with a little something something. This year going back to the gym was the gift. I started off well then life decided to come at me hard one month into my fitness journey. I ended up falling off the gym for a couple of weeks then I bounced back. When I was younger I used to be so full of myself because my genes were loyal af but the older I got my genes decided it’s time to betray me! See, I had mastered the art of wearing things that hid my thickness. As much as I hid my thickness ppl felt the need to remind me of how I’ve put on weight. I found the comments to be very unnecessary. Matter of fact, ppl need to stop minding other ppls bodies. Anywho, what bothered & motivated me was I wanted to enjoy looking at myself naked or just in the mirror & be in love with my bod. To make this long story short, I WANTED TO BE MY OWN BODY GOALS. It’s been 4 months now & man I’m just getting started. I feel & look so good! Training with @shiv_justgymit was thee best choice I made. Not only is he a great trainer but damn he sure has schooled me on a lot! To top it off he put me on a flexible diet so I’m not eating salads nor adhering to the no carbs after 6 crap. I’m eating delicious throwdowns, less portions & tracking my meals. The thing about the gym is, it’s mind over matter. Lift today, be sore tomorrow but you gotta keep at it. Consistency, Patience & Hard work breeds results. Big things happening! ‘Mungu Pekee’ hitmaker reveals his next big move going down tonight

Nyashinski who is a former member of popular group Kleptomaniax formed a few years ago is now dropping major hit songs in his solo career.

He has managed to drop hot songs such as Mungu Pekee, Malaika among other songs doing quite well on the charts. He has however become one artist who likes to keep his moves on the but luckily not this time around.

Well, he will be performing tonight at Natives sports bar and Grill which has for the past few months been giving celebrities the chance to mingle with their fans!

Tonight Nyashinski will be headlining at the popular club and since Fred Omondi will be the MC then expect nothing but a fun night to get you through the tough week.

Dj Steno and DJ GIB will be on the decks dropping both old and new school music as a bonus for all those who will be present.

If you have not come across the hilarious memes of the man spotted carrying his githeri in a plastic bag while queuing to vote in the past general elections that happened on 8th August 2017 then you are missing out on a lot.

The internet went crazy last night as everyone released a different version of a photoshopped photo of the man on social media. Well, they are hilarious but the likes of Shaffie Weru and team Adelle have decided to step up and find the fella.

Through his Instagram page Sheffie Weru wrote saying;

“I owe nobody any explanations!” Says Moses Kuria after pulling down his controversial post on Facebook

Moses Kuria who is the Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has come out to say that he owes nobody an explanation for the post he shared on his Facebook a few days before Chris Msando was declared dead from what looks like murder.

Well, Kenyans are now demanding for Moses Kuria to explain how he knew Chris Msando was having a good time with ‘some lady’ at Roysambu since he seems to know much about the late IEBC ICT manager’s movements.

What makes it worse is that Kuria shared a photos of the late Chris Msando’s car before captioning the post with a statement that has left him looking guilty.

Anyway, speaking to The Standard Moses Kuria said;

“I owe nobody any explanations. The media and social media are not part of the police and I refuse to be dragged into this political circus.
It will be an exercise in futility… what will happen after explaining myself to you?”

I guess we now leave it to the police for more investigations.

Upcoming fashion designers on Wednesday showcased their creations at the OPPO F3 Black Limited Edition launch.

Various models took to the runway in a glitzy display of style and elegance that was attended by top personalities in Kenya’s fashion and entertainment industry.

Guests took in designs from Ian Omondi and Brian Mathews of Taisere Design, Carol Oyugi of House Korasewn and Hellen Githinji from G_ by Githinji in 2 hour long display at Radisson Blu Hotel.

With Kenya’s fashion industry being one of the most vibrant on the continent, the OPPO Fashion Night was established to showcase how mobile technology has enabled the fashion industry to break new ground in regards to designs, job creation, marketing opportunities and influencing popular culture.

A prime example of how mobile technology has impacted fashion is the heightened use if social media platform Instagram which has greatly enhanced the popularity of fashion influencers like Diana Opoti and Joy Kendi

“This is a great opportunity to work with a company like OPPO because it is my first corporate collaboration. I’m excited that they believed in me,” said Hellen Githinji.

It’s also fantastic for the fashion industry because it shows it is growing and the opportunities are endless. We usually just have stand-alone fashion shows but to combine a show with a phone launch says a lot,” she added.

With the new OPPO F3 Black Limited Edition offering a new direction in regards to style, OPPO is banking on the device to help them make inroads in the premium smartphone segment.

The designs on the runway were heavily inspired by the device’s matte black colour, sleek curved design and cutting edge technology.

The creations also represent OPPO’s vision of being trendsetters and being at the forefront of technology and lifestyle industries.

“This show is more than just launching the OPPO F3 Black Limited Edition. We are giving new designers the opportunity to show the world what they are capable in a very competitive industry,” said OPPO Mobile Kenya Brand Director Jessie Wu.

“Today’s event mirrors the same philosophy that we take with our products which is being edgy, stylish and catering to various tastes,” said Mr. Wu.
“The matte black colour is in response to our users varied lifestyles and fashion preferences,” he added.

The new version which will be available at authorized resellers comes with a pre-installed screen protector, jelly case, fingerprint reader, a 16 megapixel front camera and a two years official warranty for added value and protection.

The F3’s 16MP lens creates high quality selfie plus an 8MP lens for wide angle group selfies. With both lenses working in tandem, users are guaranteed a new level of selfie experience in the modern and social lifestyle.

It also possesses other leading design features including the ColorOS 3.0 operating system, thin body design with 6-inch screen dual-slot card tray and an octa-core processor backed by 4GB RAM. A 4,000mAh built-in battery gives the F3 and endurance of more than 17 hours.

How effective is PrEP? (Details)

PrEP is the most safest way of HIV prevention for now. However, one has to make sure they take this pill daily to maximize the effectiveness at preventing HIV.

Unlike condoms which offer 70% safety, PrEP is safe by 99% meaning it is a better method of preventing HIV when used all the time. You can also use both methods if need be, just to increase the level of effectiveness.

In 2009, a large study showed that not only was it effective at treating HIV, but also at preventing HIV when taken every day.  Since then, several studies have confirmed that it is incredibly effective at prakes into account things like missed doses, interactions with other medications a person might be taking, or other illnesses that might be present.

When we say PrEP is 99% effective, that means that when PrEP is taken every day as prescribed, it prevents 99% of the cases of HIV that would have occurred otherwise.

Wema Sepetu shares new photos and the internet cannot handle it!

If there is a woman who likes to keep people talking on social media it’s Wema Sepetu. So far she has given us both negative and positive things to keep us watching her – and now the lass is back with banging photos that have left her exes taking screenshots (I guess).

Anyway, after attending Diamond Platnumz managers birthday party, Sepetu has decided to keep the hype going with the new photos she shared on her social media pages. Well, we can understand why she managed to walk away as Miss Tanzania back in 2006 and this is because she has both beauty and brains.
