I was married for seven years. The first six were mostly great and one year was rough. But having been in an institution of marriage, it is not something you easily jump into again.

By the time you are thinking about how to deal with the disease, it is already over. You are like, nobody dies in my family and I was in Form Four when he dies so it messed up my education. It was hard…
Too young to accept the turn of events, it hit the veteran journalist so bad.
But her mom had borne much more than either of them had, having walked with her son all through until the very last moments.
My mom took it the hardest. She is the one who would stay up with him throughout the night when he was not eating and was throwing up. She was also there for him when he rapidly lost weight and mark you, he was already a thin child. You know, all these things that happen with cancer..
As if that wasn’t enough, cancer hit the family again, this time, the bread winner – their dad. But his was a little less severe, having detected it early enough.
His was slightly better in that he had ten years of it. It was caught early and he underwent surgery, did the radiotherapy, made us all broke again… Oh, I have friends who came through for me…

However, the disease robbed them of another family member, their dad succumbing to prostrate cancer. That was in May 2013.
Flashback to 1998, the sports lady disclosed she lost another brother who was stabbed to death in the streets.

Thanks to a video shared by mama Dangote on her Instagram we now understand that Diamond Platnumz and his team are currently in quarantine as they wait for their results.

Regina Katar bore a daughter, Jay Wendo, got to spend time with her for a couple of months before she bid her goodbye.

In the deafening wave of the COVID-19 globally, people have resorted to using music to spread the message further but in a more subtle way.
Several songs are out now about the pandemic – whether in local or International spaces, the message is diffusing.
Most recently was Cardi B´s Coronavirus rap that came as a joke but the industry´s creatives took it up as a dance challenge that has since gone viral.
Kenya´s very own choreographer, Tileh Pacbro joined the challenge with his recent dance video release dubbed ´Coronavirus´.

A video uploaded on Sunday the 15th of March after the virus struck the Kenyan motherland with its first patient zero confirmed two days before.

Three days after its release, the video had amassed thousands of views globally. Fortunately, it caught the eye of female fierce rapper, Cardi B who was sure impressed.

Sharing the dance video on her page, she tweeted:

The video attracted well over 127k views, 769 retweets and 3.7k likes on Twitter.
A video that showcased the hidden talent in the local dance crew donning white hoodies, white sneakers and protective masks in place, it was impeccable.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke on the same, Tileh admitted:
Honestly, I expected the video to blow up because we´ve been building up our audience and it´s growing. We choreographed the dance, shot the video, edited and uploaded it on the same day.

Coronavirus dance challenge
Well probably they are used to taking up dance challenges but this particular one on the deadly virus was, if anything, to raise awareness.
You can see in the video the guy who takes off his mask and the others move away. Also when the cough sound comes on the track, you can see the guy falls and we were basically using art to bring out the importance of taking the precautionary measures.
However, ´Dance 98´ as the dance crew goes by, is actually not a crew per say, but a group of friends and dancers from Tileh´s academy who enjoy the craft.
I don´t actually have a crew, but the guys I dance with are my friends and some from the academy. We call ourselves Pacbros.
