The judge who was handling Embakasi East MP, Babu Owino´s attempted murder case has disqualified himself from the case.

Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi decided to step aside after the DPP, Noordin Haji challenged his ruling that saw Babu Owino released on controversial bail terms.

Current reports indicate that Magistrate Bernard Ochoi will take over from Andayi as the case´s court mentioning is set for the 2nd of March.

Monday, the 27th of January, Justice Andayi attracted controversy after ruling that Babu be released on a Ksh 10 Million bail.

This was with an initial deposit of Ksh 2.5 million for his release followed by another Ksh 2.5 million to be paid in installments in the following three months.

According to Justice Andayi, the money deposited would cater for the victim, DJ Evolve´s hospital bills.

Award-winning Gospel singer, Evelyn Wanjiru has spoken of how, trying to fit in, in the slim-figure world, made her paralyzed.

Barely aged 16, the sassy singer sort all sorts of exercises, to live ´the life´.

I tried to lose weight by exercising using a roller at only age 16, because I wanted to fit in. At one point, my legs became paralyzed.

Her quest caused her pain, misery and sent her lying on the hospital bed.

I used to read the Bible while in hospital but I still felt like my life had ended because I could not do anything for myself.

She cautioned, basing on her own experiences:

If you use the roller, the wrong way, it can kill your nerves. That is what happened to me, all my back nerves died. I had to undergo physiotherapy because I was ill for a year. It was a miracle [that I recovered]. That is why I did my song ´Waweza.´

Speaking during the Buju Banton concert on Saturday, the bubbly Rastafarian stated that many, including her boyfriend did not believe she would make it through the grueling condition.

Kenyan lawyer turned socialite, Corazon Kwamboka has spoken up on the setbacks being in the limelight has cost her.

The bootyful businesswoman who graduated as an Advocate of the High Court from Kenya School of Law said socialism was by utter chance.

I was in the Kenya School of Law when I decided to go for a shoot. I put them on social media and that is how I became a socialite. I have no regrets as much as I was a brilliant student, I also would not have wanted a 9 to 5 job. It worked out for good.

It affected my relationships from when it happened. I have dated and the guys get insecure because of the comments on social media. They start being insecure a few months into the relationship.

As the world celebrated Valentine’s Day on 14th February, a pregnant Saumu Mbuvi chose to spread some love to the street kids around CBD!

The lady was photographed hanging out with several street children and from the look of things; not even her security detail could keep her away from the kids.

Apparently, a section of Nairobi Women took to the streets to protest Nyashinski´s marriage to wife, Zia Bett, on Valentine´s day.

Friday, the 14th of February, hundreds of women from across the board, flooded Nairobi´s CBD in protest of legendary rapper, Nyashinski´s marriage.

Carrying high, placards that read ¨Someone tell Shinski Madem wa Nairobi tumekataa¨”to ¨Niko sawa na wote Malaika¨…, just to mention a few.

According to the women´s spokesperson, Nyashinski did not inform them that they have an in-law, only to slap it on their faces.
