Music Changed My Life – King Ayisoba

Ghanaian traditional musician King Ayisoba, has shed more lights on the impact of music on his life.

He added that, he was aware of the herculean task ahead of him, that’s why he came out with ‘Champion No Bi Easy’ some years ago.

“It wasn’t easy when I ventured into music. By God’s grace my life has changed,” he stated.

He also spoke about the new trend of the music industry, stating that everything is now all about online.

“The way things are done now is different; people don’t buy CDs any more. It is all about online. You won’t get money if you are not invited for shows or if you do not embark on musical tours.” King Ayisoba noted.

King Ayisoba also hinted that he will launch his next album in Sunyani on June 3, 2018.

Background

King Ayisoba born Albert Apoozore is a Ghanaian traditional musician known for his unique style of music alongside the Kologo.

He hails from Bongo Soe, in the Upper East Region of Ghana. King Ayisoba used to play and sing along with the late Terry Bonchaka, before Terry’s death.

In 2007, he won the ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Traditional Song of the Year’ awards at the Ghana Music Awards.

Some of his songs include, Wicked Leaders, Africa Needs Africa, Modern Ghanaians, Mbhee, and so many others.
