Obrafuor made these comments on Happy FM. He said,

“Recently Shatta Wale was seen on stage saying we the old artists didn’t do anything to help the industry and a whole lot, but me what I know of myself is that I’m not that kind of person who is affected or moved by negative words, because all the time I read it in a good way.

“Shatta wanted to say something. I believe what he wanted to say was that we the seniors that started were taken advantage of, as I always say but today you can not take any advantage of Shatta Wale, he will not allow you to take advantage of him at your event without paying him.

But I can sit here and say Shatta can’t do that. As we all know, he hasn’t got that kind of training in terms of how to communicate properly. Shatta Wale has no training.”

Furthermore, Obrafour added that “When it comes to money and properties, we all have it. It even provoked me to post a quotation on my Facebook page Jeremiah 9: 23-24.”

More on the color pink

The color pink represents caring, compassion and love. It stands for unconditional love and understanding, and is associated with giving and receiving care.

Since pink is a combination of red and white, both colors add a little to its characteristics. It gets the lust for action from the red color, and the white color gives it an opportunity to achieve success and insight.

Passion and power from the color red, softened with the purity and openness of the white color completes pink color meaning. The deeper the pink color, the more passion and energy it radiates.

No wonder the pink ribbon, the feminine color so chosen to symbolize health, has become synonymous with breast cancer awareness.

Ebony Is Smart For Using Body To Sell Her Brand – Rex Omar

Veteran musician, Rex Owusu Marfo aka Rex Omar has endorsed female Ebony. Rex Omar is in full support of her brand of revealing parts of her body in most of her performances at events and in her music videos.

Rex Omar is the Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO). He stated  that the fact that Ebony uncovers part of her skin doesn’t make her a bad person.

Rex Omar made these statements on Kasapa FM. Omar said he sees nothing wrong with Ebony’s style of dressing that exposes her body. This is because it rather indicates how quick-witted the artist and his management are.

Rex Omar’s Statement

“I like Ebony so much. Ebony and her management are smart. There are lot of male artistes that do videos including myself. I didn’t create the attraction between a man and a woman but everybody knows that the woman’s body attracts men. Ebony uses what she has to get what she wants. The fact that she exposes part of her body to sell her brand doesn’t make her a bad person, it’s marketing.

“She covered up in her recent video ‘Maame Hw3’ and this tells you, she is giving the public what they want and she has achieved it and at the end of the day when you all see it, you will all talk about it. When i released ‘Abiba’ it wasn’t it a hit.”

Furthermore, Rex Omar said Ebony using suggestive words in her songs makes her an extraordinary artiste.

According to him, an artiste should be eccentric to get people thinking about the brand and that is where Ebony’s genius becomes relevant.

“What is an artiste if people think about you and you don’t get them thinking then you’re not an artiste. There must be something eccentric and extraordinary about you.

“Why is everybody following Shatta Wale? Because there is something different about him. That is why Ebony is selling because there’s something different about her. You viewed her hot photos and you liked it then went to buy her music. What does she wants to achieve? She wants to sell music and have shows to perform. If she should wear kaba and slit to perform or shoot her video will you buy her music. At the end of the day, she has used her body to sell her product.

“If you want to translate her song your own way, it’s up to you and that is artistic expression. It depends on how you want to translate it.”

Shatta Wale Is A Star, Not A Gangster – Hassan Ayariga

The 2016 presidential candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga says Shatta Wale is a star, not a gangster.

This notwithstanding, the politician and business tycoon further expressed his disappointment with the dancehall artiste over his behavior in recent times.

Mr. Ayariga made a reference to a video that recently went viral on social media in which the ‘Taking Over’ crooner was seen holding a gun and firing into the air.

According to him, Shatta Wale ought to know that he is an artiste and not a gangster.

Speaking as a co-host on Drive Time on Joy FM on Boxing Day, the APC founder said “…my movement, Shatta Movement is doing well. The sad thing, recently he started [doing] something I don’t like but then, he is very good.”

Hassan Ayariga’s Speech

Condemning Shatta’s behavior, he said, “Stars are supposed to brag…but not to the extent of using weapons…you are not a gangster, you are a pop star so don’t put yourself into that category.”

“It [affects] the respect and the fame you have… people love you so continue that way and then you will go far beyond your imagination…my advice to him,” Mr Ayariga added.

Nevertheless, Hassan Ayariga said, “I love him. He is a young boy and I love his music.”

When asked by Baaba Tandoh, who was the sit-in host of the show if he will invite him to the Flagstaff House should he become president, the APC leader said there won’t be any need for that.

“He was invited already so there is no need,” he said and added that, “I think that we need to promote them rather than inviting them. When you promote them, they excel. Inviting them to the Flagstaff House without promoting them is nothing…”
