Diamond Platnumz’s former photographer Kifesi was sacked early this year after he took shots at his boss for cheating on Zari.
Kifesi now claims that he can have his job back if Zari talks to Diamond. Speaking during an interview with Bongo 5, the photographer reveals that Zari still exerts influence over Diamond.

Amber Lulu jokingly asked Diamond to sign her to his record label Wasafi. Prezzo’s ex girlfriend claims Diamond wears ankle bracelet because there are not enough women signed to his label. Diamond’s sister Queen Darleen is the only female musician signed to Wasafi.

Diamond used the same concept on ‘Saans’ for his new music video ‘Baila’. The costumes and the venues used during the shooting of ‘Saans’ are the same for ‘Baila’.

Apparently Mwarabu Fighter’s pursuit for off-days was the reason why he was quietly let go. Diamond reportedly decided to relieve Mwarabu of his duties after he learnt that he had complained on the manner that he handles him.
Mwarabu allegedly approached Rayvanny’s manager Makame to complain that he didn’t have enough time to rest and do his own stuff because he was always with Diamond even when his service wasn’t necessarily needed.
Rayvanny’s manager approached Diamond with Mwarabu’s complaints and he decided to give him the off-days he desperately wanted. Only that Mwarabu was never called back to resume his duty.

Diamond’s father reacted after Diamond posted the photo, he called out his son for refusing to help him while he is still alive. Mzee Abdul says that Diamond will suffer when he dies.

Zari Hassan has opened up about assisting her baby daddy build his mansion in Madale which he has been using as a lodging to lay women while she stays in South Africa.
Hamisa Mobetto conceived her son at the Madale home back in September 2017, Diamond brought her home and she leaked photos of their intimate moments in Zari’s bedroom.

Dimpoz’s father called on Diamond’s father to emulate him, saying that he would never criticize his son on media the way he was doing to Diamond.

Risasi Mchanganyiko also reached out to Diamond father for comment about what Ommy Dimpoz’s father said. Mzee Abdul was totally offended by the comment, he said Dimpoz’s father shouldn’t poke his nose into what doesn’t concern him.

Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba’s beef dates back to early 2012. The two singers were about to work together for a collabo but something went wrong.
Back in 2012, Alikiba was the most sought after singer in Tanzania. Diamond was still struggling to establish his mark in the industry, he even reached out to Alikiba for a collabo just to gain mileage.
Speaking during an interview on Kwanza TV, Alikiba disclosed that trouble with Diamond started when Simba approached him and requested to be featured in his hit song ‘Single Boy’.
Alikiba dropped ‘Single Boy’ featuring Lady JayDee sometimes in May 2012. The song was however leaked before the video had been released.
Request turned down
Alikiba reveals that Diamond approached him and requested to be featured in the song after the audio was leaked. He further claims that Diamond disrespected him when he turned him down.
“There was a day he wronged me. I always support every artist in Tanzania and I don’t deny he (Diamond) sings well. Some new fans who don’t know the story will obviously side with Diamond, I never thought of doing a song with him but he called me after the song ‘Single Boy’ leaked. I had already collaborated with Lady JayDee on the song. He told me he would like to feature on the song, and that he already had a concept for the music video. But I told him I preferred the song to have a single boy single girl theme rather than two male artists,” Alikiba explained.

Beef commences
Alikiba claims that Diamond went on to tell bloggers that he (Alikiba) had deleted his (Diamond’s) verse from the song. Kiba says that he confronting Diamond about the issue and he denied going to blogs with the false reports.
“Around a week later, I hear from blogs that I had deleted his verses from the song when they were never there,” said Alikiba.
Diamond takes over
Alikiba says he is happy that Diamond went on to become Tanzania’s most successful singer. Kiba asserts that he is not a fan of Diamond though he admits that some of his songs are dope.
“I’m happy his music picked up. He is representing our country. He is very hardworking and sometimes I’m also a fan of good music. I’m not a fan of Diamond but I will say there are some songs he has done very well,” Alikiba said.
People who have been keeping an eagle eye on Diamond have discovered that the ‘Iyena’ hit maker has been losing weight. Diamond’s manager has since addressed the issue.
Some claim the breakup with his baby mama Zari Hassan is the reason why he is only getting slender. Zari dumped Diamond on Valentine’ Day and has since refused to give him another chance.
Babu Tale however explains that Diamond’s weight loss has nothing to do with Zari. Speaking during a press conference to partnership with Star Times, Babu Tale said Diamond was working extra hard to ensure smooth running of his businesses.

2 hour sleep
Babu Tale further revealed that Diamond was not getting enough sleep because of his work. He says his boss has been sleeping for only two hours for the past six months.
“There are some people saying my artist is losing weight fast or that I’m growing big. For six months nonstop, my artist has been sleeping for only two hours. He has been striving to ensure all his projects run smoothly. His weight loss is a result of prolonged lack of sufficient sleep,” said Babu Tale.
Zari Hassa’s Father’s Day message was a mockery to her baby daddy Diamond Platnumz. Hamisa Mobbetto however made Diamond feel special on Father’s Day.
Zari chose to celebrate her late husband Ivan Ssemwanga on Father’s Day, she also commended herself for being both a mother and father to her kids.
“Happy father’s day to me, the late Don and all the women playing both roles. We are the real MVPs….. gone but you still here for us in all possible ways. We miss you!” Wrote Zari.

Nigerian heartthrob Davido performed in Dar es Salaam last Saturday before he flew to Nairobi to host the exclusive pool party at Kilimani’s B-Club.
Davido pulled a surprise on fans when he invited Diamond Platnumz on stage to perform together during Tanzania’s 30 Billion Concert in Dar.
Diamond was not slated to perform at the concert. But the two singers performed their 2014 collaborative hit single ‘Number One’ remix to the delight of fans.

No pay
People have been speculating that Diamond’s surprise performance at Davido’s concert had been planned and that he was paid to perform.
Diamond’s manager Babu Tale has however set the record straight that his boss was only there to support Davido at his request. Babu Tale stresses that Diamond wasn’t paid a dime to perform with Davido.
“Ile ni love tunaita, wale wawili wanazungumza, kama angekuwa anamtaka Diamond na kunifuata mimi basi angekuwa amefuata sheria lakini ameongea na yeye na wakakubaliana ule ni urafiki wao waliongea kwaio sisi tukatoa blessings tu tukamwambia nenda,” said Babu Tale.
