There Was No ‘Beef’ Between Ebony And MzVee – Ebony’s Management Reveals

The management of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns have finally reacted to rumors that there was a ‘beef’ between the late star and MzVee.

Before the sudden death of the late songstress, there were several rumors that she and Lynx Entertainment signed artiste MzVee had issues. According to reports, MzVee, who has been the leading female dancehall artiste in the country for a while till the rise of Ebony felt threatened. This they claimed was because, Ebony was outshining her.

However, the Manager of the late Ebony, Bullet has finally debunked any of such rumors in a recent interview.

According to Ricky Nana Agyeman, aka Bullet, who’s also the CEO Ruff town records and Midas Touch, “There was no beef between Ebony and MzVee to the best of my knowledge. Both artistes had a song which is not out there.”

Moreover, MzVee in an earlier interview with Andrew Tandoh Adote on the Tonight show also debunked that rumor.

“A lot of these bloggers and writers, journalist do these because they want many readers so they put up very very crazy headlines so they get readers but it is not fair to someone like me because it actually crashes me. It used to really worry me,” she said.

The late Ebony Reigns was the country’s most prominent rising star for the past couple of years till her sudden demise. She took over the airwaves by releasing hit after hit songs.

For her hard works, though dead, she’s expected to dominate this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night slated for April.

Ebony, born Priscilla Poku Kwarteng her untimely death on Thursday February 8. She died in a gory accident when the jeep she was traveling in, collided with an oncoming VIP bus.

The accident, which happened on the Kumasi – Sunyani road, also led to the death of two others. A military officer identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and Ebony’s friend Frankie Kuri, who were also on-board the Jeep.

Some of Eboby’s hit songs include; Sponsor, Poison, Hustle, Da Ur Fada, and Maame Hw3. Her debut album, BONYFIED, was released in December last year.

Meanwhile, she’s expected to be finally laid to rest on March 17 in Accra.
