Date For The Final Funeral Rites Of Ebony’s ‘Bodyguard’ Out

Family of the late Ghana Air Force soldier, Lance Corporal Francis Atsu Vondee have disclosed the date for his burial.

Lance Corporal Atsu Vondee is the soldier and supposed ‘bodyguard’ to the late dancehall star, Ebony Reigns. Both, died in a gory car accident along with Ebony’s friend Franky Kuri earlier this month.

A family member of the late soldier disclosed in an interview with Ghana Crusader that the final funeral and burial service of Atsu, will be held on Friday, 23rd March, 2018 a week after the burial of Ebony.

He confirmed that the burial service will be held at Adidome Mafi in the Volta Region where he hails from.

Death of the Late Francis Atsu;

The late Francis Atsu Vondee met his untimely death on Thursday February 8,2018 together with Ebony and Franky Kuri.

They were coming back to Accra after paying a short visit to the UK-based mother of Ebony who had returned to the country.

Unfortunately, jeep they were traveling in, slammed into an oncoming ‘VIP bus’ on the Kumasi – Sunyani road. The accident claimed all three lives with the exception of the driver who escaped death.

Shortly after his death, there were rumors that the Ghana Armed Forces had detained his body to serve a court-martial. This according to reports was because they claimed he had broken a code hence.

However, the Ghana Armed Forces refuted claiming it was inaccurate and malicious speculations.

Meanwhile, Franki Kuri will be buried come Saturday 3rd March. Her burial service will b at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Kwashiema, Accra.
