I Got Offers To Do Secular Music – Joe Mettle

Joe Mettle opens up about his ministry.

Ghanaian gospel artiste, Joe Mettle disclosed that he was tempted at some point in time to produce secular music. Moreover, the aim was to make his fans and followers happy.

Joe Mettle is a staunch Christian. However, he added that he sometimes gets “carried away like everyone else”.

Joe Mettle stated this in an interview with co-host Berla Mundi on Starr FM’s Starr Drive.

Statement of Joe Mettle about secular music

“You are human, there are times you may miss your way once or twice, and I have. Where I realize that I’m missing my track and then I had to come back. There are times you get carried away like everybody else. And those are the times you get heavy offers. But those are things you cannot decide on without praying about them.”

Also, Joseph Oscar Mettle disclosed that his current song ‘Bo Noo Ni’ was written before he even won the topmost accolade (Artiste of The Year) at the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Joe Mettle happens to be the first gospel musician to be crowned Artiste of the Year.
