Hammer Resigns As MUSIGA’s Director Of Hiplife

Ace music producer Hammer (of The Last Two) has resigned from his post as the Director of Hiplife at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).

The producer made this known during an interview on Joy Fm’s Behind the Fame on Drive Time show on Monday. with Lexis Bill on Monday.

Hammer, born Edward Nana Poku Osei, was appointed by MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffour (Obour) about two years ago. He was placed in charge of managing and developing hiplife in Ghana.

But the producer revealed that there has been several setbacks preventing him from executing his works.

Hence, his decision to resign from the post.

“My office never had a budget to do anything,” he told host, Lexis Bill and adding “I was treated like a little boy.”

According to him, he was at the offices of MUSIGA to find out where he could put his stuffs to run the office but he kept getting excuses.

He said he was supposed to be ‘the go-to guy when it comes to these [hiplife] but “I haven’t worked because it didn’t make sense to me”

“Obour is my friend, I spoke to him a couple of times…he is my boy…I respect him a lot,” but nothing was happening, he bemoaned.
