It’s Only Those Who Don’t Have Hit Songs Who Rely On Beefs – Flowking Stone

Ghanaian rapper, Flowking Stone talks about beefing in the music industry. He made these statements in an interview with B Ice of Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi.

He stated that many musicians who rely on ‘beef‘ to blow do not really have the right songs. Also, they lack the talent lyrically to blow and stand toe to toe with the other musicians.

Moreover, he stated that ‘beefing’ helps some artistes who decide to make that as a part of the brand. He used dancehall artiste Shatta Wale as an example. Flowking stated that since Shatta’s rebirth from his Bandana days, it is always one beef or the other and these beef helps him and as such it is very good for him.

He, however, stated that there are other musicians whose only way of remaining relevant in the music industry is to thrive on beef. However, they don’t get their right songs to get them to the top of the music charts either than the usual beef songs.

Furthermore, he stated that beefs does not help the country internationally. He made the point that he lost a lot of international collaboration largely due to the many beefing among musicians in the country.
