Lord Paper Reveals Radio Stations Are Refusing To Play His Gospel Songs

Musician, Lord Paper talks about his new musical direction. He revealed that even though he is a new leaf and a born-again Christian, people still tag for his first nude video, ‘Awurama’.

He spoke about all these in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM. Moreover, Paper revealed that some people, including radio stations, refused to play his new song, ‘Fame Ye’ which is gospel. According to him, the situation is dire that his manager fought someone at a radio station in Kumasi.

Also, he stressed that he is a new man and urges the general public to accept his new personality. The host asked him why he decided to turn a new leaf, the musician revealed that his mother had to step in to put him on the right track.

“It was a discussion between me and my mum. She likes my music” 

“your message is positive but you are not portraying that kind of positivity in you to people so you need to do something about it’.” 

Moreover, according to him, his mother was disappointed,” when she saw the Awurama video.

“She was like what is going on. I know you want to do music but is this how you want to portray yourself to people…I didn’t bring you up like this”

The musician, also stated that he takes his musical inspiration from musicians like Daddy Lumba and the late Daasebre Gyamenah.
