Many Africans have however condemned the action saying it is inhuman and doesn’t unite us as Africans.

Shatta Wale called on African leaders to intervene and save our people.

He further urged all Africans to pray for the victims of this modern ‘slave trade’ and wondered why “we can’t love ourselves; why can’t you be your brother’s keeper?”

‘Da Maker’ produced the song.
