Sarkodie, Bola Ray, Others For LEAD Series Merit Awards

The 0rganizers of LEAD SERIES, an educative & career driven event have launched a monthly awards in order to honor and recognize outstanding personalities.

The L.E.A.D SERIES MERIT AWARDS is the new new inaugural awards poll. This will seek to honor personalities who are helping make impact lives in our nation and making a difference. The awards will celebrate “teachers, parents, principals, actress, TV/Radio Hosts, students etc, who convey leadership, change, inspiration and is set to take place at the end of each month.

The General Manager of OMNIS2131, Annie Forson said ‘Every contribution an individual makes through their efforts, brings this city and this nation closer to providing a well-rounded quality life to each and every person’

Due to this, the general public is encouraged to visit the website www.leadseries100.com to vote for their favorite influencer. Voting ends on the 25th of October 2017.

Merit award 2017 is to recognize and acknowledge individuals/companies whose immediate activity in various areas of expertise have brought about a positive change in society within the month in review.

Juls, Sarkodie Others Win At AFRIMMA 2017

The much publicized African Muzik Magazine Awards and Music Festival 2017 lived up to expectations. The event which happened at the House of Blues, Dallas Texas was an exciting show for all the patrons. It was hosted by Basketmouth and Chipukeezy and saw the gathering of who’s who in the African music sphere.

The show opened with a performance by the Triplets Ghetto Kids from Uganda who later took home the Best African Dancer category.

Other performers include Scientific from Liberia, Tzy Panshak from Cameroon, Falz from Nigeria , Tiwa Savage , Kaffy Dance Queen, C4 Pedro as well as Nsoki and the Francophone King Fally Ipupa. Basketmouth had the audience in stitches as he anchored a great show that would live long in the minds of many.

Sarkodie ‘Stole’ My Beat – Gafacci

After the release of Sarkodie’s acclaimed Highest album; music producer Gafacci took to Twitter to state that Sarkodie took his beat without crediting him.

He stated his displeasure at the rapper for not giving him credit for the ‘All I Want Is You’ song on the ‘Highest’ album which is the 15th track.

Gafacci has worked with artistes such as D-Black, Sarkodie, Dee Moneey, J Town, Chase, among others.
He produced the 2010 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Freestyle Cypher featuring Sarkodie, Tinny, Ayigbe Edem, Reggie Rockstone, Baby G and Kwaku T.

Sarkodie held an album signing session for his 5th studio album, Highest at the Westhills Mall in Accra, on Sunday and there was a huge turnout of fans.

A good numbers of celebrities, artistes and producers also came through to support the grand occasion. Notable among them were DKB, Doctor Duncan, Dr. Pounds, Magnom, Medikal, StrongMan, B4Bonah, Foster Romanus, Wisa, Article Wan and many others. Sarkodie’s lady, Tracy Sarkcess, was also there to support.

DJ Mensah was at his best shuffling records from the album while fans, in turns, bought hard copies of the album, plus other SarkNation souvenirs which got autographed by Sarkodie.

The numbers at West Hills Mall was just incredible; estimated to be a little over 3,000 audience – the venue was so packed it couldn’t contain the audience.
