I Wore The Faded Black Intentionally – Kuami Eugene

Kuami Eugene explains his fashion choices.

Ghana’s fast-rising music star, Kuami Eugene was lambasted by his fans on social media. Their reason was he wore a ‘faded black shirt‘ to the late female dancehall artiste Ebony’s one-week observation.

Moreover, a lot of his fans were disappointed that he wore that shirt. Many of them thought it was disrespectful. Others also questioned why he would do that.

Therefore, Kuami Eugene spoke on ‘Breakfast Live show’ with Nikki Samonas.

Eugene had a reply to those who chastised him in reference to his faded and colourless outfit.

“Okay so we have shades of black. We have deep black, we have blue-black, we have faded black, we have tattered black and as I said earlier, the fact that anything I do people take time to assess it actually means that anything you do people want to talk about it.” 

Furthermore, Kuami Eugene said that those who started talking about his outfit didn’t think deep before complaining.

He concluded that he’s now famous and can afford to buy anything to fill his wardrobe. Therefore, he intentionally decided to bring what the people called as ‘faded black shirt’ to the event.
