There is nothing attractive as a woman who has got her life in control. And Avril is the perfect example of an independent woman judging from how she has been moving.
Just recently she shared a photo of a certain mansion that she has been eyeing for the longest time.
From her caption, there is nothing more she needs than the house she shared a photo of and if I am not wrong the singer might be planning to buy it since I believe she lives in a rental.
Away from this, Avril is currently doing well with her latest song dubbed Babie which she featured Apass.

Well, Avril has since responded to AT’s ridiculous slander, she denied knowing the Tanzanian singer despite AT’s claims that he met her in 2010 when he travelled to Kenya to record a song at Ogopa Studio.

Avril downplayed AT’s allegation saying that there was no need for her to be concerned about his claim since he was a nobody.
“It doesn’t make sense to follow up on somebody who is a nobody,” Avril told Word Is.
This is the first time we are hearing someone claim that Avril from Kenya has no talent.
Well, not everyone will be your fan or support what you do and this what one Tanzanian singer by the name of AT did to ‘Nikimuona‘ hit maker during his recent interview.
According to A.T, Avril is just a basic singer with no talent and he questions why most Tanzanian artist always wish to work with her despite her lack of talent.
Speaking to CloudsFM in Tanzanian the singer says he discovered this after working with Avril in a song that is yet to be released.
This was however a few years ago and since Avril did not deliver as expected he opted to keep the Jam on the low as he feared wasting the good beat on a project that was not going anywhere.
We are not quite sure whether the two have any personal issues…. but all I can say that -it’s a shame to have a man like him speaking ill of a woman in public since once you disrespect a woman in public, then who will teach the youth to respect women in the society.
Ugandan dancehall artist Edrisa Musuuza known professionally by his stage name as Eddy Kenzo has been named the new ambassador of Kenya Tourism Board (KTB). And bush-league Kenyan musicians can’t take it.
Dr. Betty Adero Radier the Chief Executive Director of Kenya Tourism Board explained that it was prudent of them to consider a Ugandan artist since Uganda contributes highly among other East African states.
“Ugandan tourists contribute a very big percentage on the total number of tourists visiting Kenya, we decided to appoint Eddy Kenzo because many people in the region understand him very well,” Dr. Radier said while addressing members of the press at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
“It’s a great honour and opportunity I have been given to promote the homage, culture, beauty, natural resource,infrastructure and tourism in general of my other mother country Kenya. Under the campaign Take a break #Tugendekenya #magicalKenya.” Eddy Kenzo said after his appointment.

Mseto East Africa broke the news to Kenyans on Instagram and Kenyan artists didn’t like it at all. King Kaka, Avril and other celebs were quick to show their disapproval.

What Kenyan artists failed to understand is that KTB chose value addition over patriotism. All of the Kenyan artists who were complaining about Kenzo’s appointment have NEVER won leave alone being nominated for any international award.
Eddy Kenzo won BET award for the ‘Viewer’s Choice Best New International Artist’ in 2015. He was also nominated for MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) in 2016.

Talk of having influence across the continent, neither Avril nor King Kaka have ever performed ‘one-man show’ outside the boundaries of Kenya; last Saturday Eddy Kenzo filled a stadium in Guinea-Bissau, one-man show. And he’s having another concert in Ethiopia.

So, should Kenya Tourism Board pick Kenyan artists as its brand ambassador over foreign artists who add value to their campaign?
6 years later, Shaffie Weru is going back to Nakuru to attend the same event. The Kiss FM has confirmed he will be going to Nakuru to support Avril who will be performing at the 10 aside rugby tournament this coming weekend.

Speaking during a live Instagram session with Mpasho (while on an interview) Avril says that she had a man who was willing to buy her a car but she did not feel the need of accepting it. She went on to add that such gifts always come with ‘rules’ that she would have to adhere to, something she is not ready to do. She said,
There is a man who wanted to buy me a car but I can’t accept such kind of gifts, because when he gets you a house, he can come walk in, if it’s a car he can just take it. I try hard not to tie myself to such kinds of commitments especially when I’m not sure of what kind of a relationship we have or what its leading to.
Well, I am pretty sure that the lass by now has enough money to buy herself such gifts and being an indepedent woman she wouldn’t want to find her self in a position where she would have to break her own rules just to impress a man because he got her a house or a car.
