I’m Not Bothered By Theft Rumors Over Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ Cover Art – Artist

Shatta Wale’s upcoming Reign album has been the talk of many entertainment enthusiasts and SM fans for weeks now.

One thing many looked forward to ahead of the launch was the unveiling of the number of tracks and cover of the album.

Zylofon Music, in collaboration with Shatta Movement Empire, organized the unveiling of the official artwork of the album, as well the track listing at Mangoes, within the Accra City Mall on September 14, 2018.

However, the unveiling of the album’s cover has caused lots of buzz on social media.

Many have accused the artiste of stealing the concept for the cover from outside sources.

However, Kwame Kyei, the young man who designed the artwork for Shatta Wale’s Reign

Album, in an interview has announced that he is not bothered by rumors that the concept for the artwork was stolen.

Kwame, who spoke to Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM, stated that

these, criticisms do not bother him in any way.

“It doesn’t bother me at all that people think it is a copied work, at least I know it has made some impact”, he said.

“I didn’t steal the concept. My inspiration is art. I only blended photo with writing,” he added.

Kwame further expressed gratitude to the king of the Shatta Movement camp, for the exposure

he has given him following the release of the album art.

The Reign album will be launched officially on the 13th October 2018.
