Photos: Checkout How These11 Ghanaian Celebs Stunned In Kente Cloths

I was very happy when my dictionary gave me the definition of kente as a ‘type of fabric made of interwoven cloth strips native to GHANA’

The Kente cloth is something Ghanaians don’t joke with. It is made in an artistic way that being spotted in Kente means a lot.

Yes, as mentioned earlier, the Kente cloth identifies a Ghanaian from a group of people.

It is mainly worn during important events such as anniversaries, weddings, christening etc.

Now, as the government continues to create awareness to encourage indigenes to patronize and use locally manufactured goods, it is only wise that we paid attention.

After all, charity, they say begin at home. We going in for these products more than other foreign ones will help our products to be accepted and patronized by others.

In that regard, some celebrities have been ‘slaying’ a lot in our fabrics these days, from the Ankara fabrics to Kente and then the smock.

Ghaflagh.com has come across a few of such celebs. And as they put in efforts to put Ghana on the global map, we also need to recognize their efforts and apprentiate them.
