¨I am strictly a gospel artiste¨ Mr Seed after featuring Gengetone artistes in recent jam

Kenyan gospel star, Mr Seed dropped a recent hit dubbed ´Kwa Hao´ which featured Gengetone artistes and he explains why.

A blend of gospel artistes and gengetone artistes is evident in the song. Content creator, Kartelo who doubles up as a radio presenter, introduces the jam to the audience.

Among artistes present is: VDJ Jones, Masterpiece, Breeder Law, Madox (Boondocks Gang), Vuva and Dezian.

Clarifying on featuring gengetone artistes, Mr Seed affirmed that he remains a gospel artist.

I´m strictly a gospel artist. The song talks about returning people to the church. Even the Odi´s praise God in church and when God blessed me with a child, I dedicated him to the church.

The ´superstar´ singer is however not selective of artistes since he believes that everyone has something to tell God.

I´ve worked with so many different artistes regardless of whether they are secular or gospel artistes because I believe, at times, people have something in their heart that they would like to share about what God has done in their lives but they don´t get the chance. Until they get someone who is doing it is when they get comfortable to do a music like that to give thanks.

Basically, ´kwa hao´ is a song that features artistes, giving a witness of God´s doing in their lives.

Mr Seed revealed that singer, Miracle Baby of Sailors Gang helped him formulate the hook for the chorus.

The popular gospel singer added that despite their music genre, is that all these individuals have the fear of God.

The major lesson I learnt is that all these people are amazing with clean hearts and they have the fear of God in them. And may God continue blessing them.

According to him, Gengetone artistes are a new wave in the music industry, changing it for the better.

Kenyan mompreneur, Bridget Achieng´ has apparently kept aside all the evidence about her negligent baby daddy for their son, when he grows up.

The actress is a single mom to a son, whose father denied him, once she turned 3 months pregnant.

Up and close on Citizen TV, the socialite spoke of how her then-boyfriend wanted her to terminate the pregnancy but she declined.

I was pregnant and he was OK with it (at first) but three months later, he asked me to abort. I refused.

The pain the rejection caused her and the wounds left behind, could only be solved by speaking about it.

That is why I decided to speak about it so I could try to heal.

Bridget single-handedly raises her son despite the man and his family coming back to her life.

Sekani is very tight with his grandfather and they even video call but I am very petty.

She further divulged:

I have kept for Sekani all the evidence of how his dad neglected him, it will be upon him to decided what to take in.

NTV´s Wicked Edition is coupled with brand name, Dr King´ori who has scaled heights in the comedy industry to become one of the most acclaimed comedy acts in Kenya.

The TV comedian however achieved his success through the support of others. BBC journalist, Larry Madowo is among Dr Kingori´s key influencers.

The comedy kid always dreamt of having his own TV show but that meant: money, and resources that he never had.

His journey started when he left Embu for Nairobi, to pitch his idea to NTV who ultimately demanded more.

This forced Dr Kingori to seek financial aid from sponsors all to zero success. Couple of years later, he landed himself a gig at NTV´s ´Offside Show´ and ´Churchill Show.´

It was at this time, that he met Larry who took up the role of being a friend and a mentor.

Larry saw something in me. He asked ¨Why are you fixed on writing? Do you know how many forms of comedy there are?¨

Madowo took it upon himself to download comedy shows from around the world and go through the footage with the comedian.

Dr King´ori then changed his perspective of comedy, sharing this with ´The Trend´ producer, Kevin Gitau.

The Kenyan sweetheart admitted to having battled depression that drained her entire being but with friends who never got tired of her insistent phone calls, saw her through it all.

The lass has now revealed the cause, pinning her state on being surrounded by humans who only made her life difficult.

I walked away from what can only be termed as a very toxic situationship. I wish them all well though no one deserves to feel how them made me feel.

South African-based businesswoman, Zari Hassan is having it rough from fans regarding her ´shapeless´ chapatis that many believe is the cause of her wobbly relationships.

It was the weekend and friends and family decided to drop by her home in South-Africa. Zari claims they loved her cooking so much, they requested to taste her chapatis.

Mama Nillan took a dash to the kitchen to whip up a couple, before flaunting her ´super´ culinary skills on social media.

Sharing photos of her already cooked chapatis, fans could not hold back their laughter after they came out ´square-shaped.´

Masses wondered how the Boss Lady would proudly boast of her polished art when it comes to cooking. Yet, something as basic as African chapatis proved an uphill task for her.

She even went ahead to term the cooking process as ´Easy Peasy.´

Unfortunately, Zari got trolled for making ´shapeless´ chapatis just like her body and fans did not seem surprised.

Others believed she had edited the photos just for the gram. While a section called her out for being too engrossed in her beauty that she never properly learnt the art of cooking.

However, her loyal fans quickly stood in support of her, insisting that the shape of the chapatis does not matter,but their ediblility.

Critics then insisted that if something is bad, there is no need to hide it, the truth needs to be told.

Exposed! Weezdom reveals how Ringtone got rid of his baby mama

Gospel singers, Weezdom and Ringtone are making headlines after Weezdom´s expose on Ringtone´s baby mama who was silenced through impersonation.

Ringtone has stirred controversy in the past week, dismissing Bahati as an outcast in the gospel ministry.

This is following a series of events by the EMB CEO that did not rub well with Ringtone, who believed Bahati is not suited for the gospel industry.

However, EMB´s own, Weezdom decided to counter the argument. He exposed Ringtone´s philandering ways that saw him impregnate a girl before dumping her for an impostor.

Sharing an interview of the baby mama, Angel Nyambura, Weezdom bashed Ringtone for being so full of himself yet he is no saint to begin with.

Unfortunately, Ringtone did not foresee the future. Back then, he had sought Weezdom´s assistance in finding him a replacement of the child´s baby daddy.

But now, the two artistes are at loggerheads and Weezdom is busy airing Ringtone´s dirty linen in public.

Controversy after Papa Dennis´s former ´boss´ failed to show up at his burial

The CEO of Maliza Umaskini Records – Papa Dennis previous music label – failed to show up at the artist´s funeral, raising eyebrows.

Papa Dennis was signed at Maliza Umaskini Records, under the stewardship of Sadat Muhindi before his contract termination early last year.

Where Ringtone is, there is a guarantee of controversy. According to the gospel singer, Mr Sadat was busy taking a flight to Dubai.

Disclosing this during Papa´s funeral, Ringtone bashed:

Sadat posted a photo on social media on his way to Dubai. He did not attend Papa Dennis´ send off and when we set a meeting to contribute money for Dennis´ send off. He said the hotel where we were was too filthy for him. So he left to plan his own funeral committee only to bring back Ksh 6,000.

Kevin failed to understand how an artist like Ringtone would actually take lead in Papa Dennis burial arrangements, just to stir controversy.

Some people took advantage of the situation [Papa Dennis´ death] especially his opponents and some few people in the music industry. They were trying to twist things so that he could be heckled.

In his interview with Mpasho, the PA revealed that Sadat, despite hailing from the area where Papa was buried, stayed away to avoid any drama.

That is his hometown. He vied there and is loved by many there. Due to respect he has for his people, he decided it was better for him not to attend so as to avoid unnecessary drama and confrontation.

In what she described as a mere photoshoot, to promote ´zenayla_bridal_makeup´ that specializes in bridal makeup and setting, she stunned in a studded long white wedding gown.

The TV sensation lit up the Internet after sharing a series of photos donning the wedding gown that only crowned her disturbing beauty.

Tanzanian, Kenyan-based singer, Ten Ballz believes Kenya´s Gengetone music is fine, but the content is just a miss.

The East African artist commented that artistes need to produce music they will be proud of 20 or so years down the line.

The kind of legacy an artist and every other person leaves behind, is crucial and remains in history.

I love speaking the truth and Gengetone is not a bad sound. However, the message might not be right. You need to do something that you´ll be praised for when you are alive and when you die, when you are young and old.

Through an Instagram update, the ¨Rollam¨ singer shared a screenshot of a tweet where a user complained of paying huge sums of money to ´established´ producers only for the end product to be a disappointment.

The user urged ´believe in that aspiring producer in your hood, he can also produce great hit songs.´

The businesswoman shared a similar experience, attesting to have ´learnt the hard way.´

Bongo Flava superstar, Diamond Platnumz has been called out for stealing music concepts from Nigerian powerhouses, Burna Boy and Wizkid.

Chibu released a new jam just Wednesday, the 26th of February on YouTube but fans were quick to take note of the song´s similarities with Joro and Angelina.

Wizkid is the voice behind Joro as Burna Boy takes up Angelina.

Flocking the comment section – that was later disabled – fans blasted the Tanzanian artist for lacking originality.

Not just the two jams, fans believe Diamond also sampled Wizkid and Burna Boy´s ¨On The Low¨ hit.

A section pinned the blame on fact that the three artistes shared the same producer – Kelp Vibez – for the particular hits.

However, others were quick to note that Diamond sounds just like the Nigerian heavyweights, therefore lacking authenticity.

After canceling flights from Guangzhou to Nairobi due to the Corona virus; the same government has announced that the ban has been lifted and flights will only be allowed once a week!

Nimo Gachuiri announced the sad news through her Instagram page where she celebrated the happy life – lived and loved by her great grandmother who finally finished running her race in life.

Bongo flava artiste, Ben Pol has spoken of days when alcoholism was the order of the day, leading a life without meaning and reckless in his ways.

The Tanzanian musician has for the first time opened up about his life battles that saw him turn to alcohol, to give him comfort and strength to push on.

During an interview with Tanzania´s Simulizi na Sauti, Ben Pol spoke of dark days before the birth of his son – which turned his life 360 degrees.

At last, Ohangla singer, Lady Maureen has found solace in her maternal cousin´s home after her mother did not want anything to do with the singer.

Fredrick Odhiambo, Lady Maureen´s maternal cousin is said to have picked her up from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital after news of her homelessness reached him.

Diamond Platinumz has no originality in his work

Diamond Platinumz has been branded the best artiste in East Africa. However, his creativity has now become a topic of discussion.

One might think it is a coincidence that he gets to have worked similar to other celebrities globally. Actually, it is no longer the case. This man is just a copycat who can no longer come up with original work.

A couple of times the singer has been lashed for copying other artistes in the video. One thing to note about Diamond Platinumz’s video is that they have always been copied.

With his latest two songs Gere and Jeje, a lot has come out and it is clear he is no longer good. We cannot blame his director because he as Diamond Platinumz is the boss. He got to decided what is been done.

First, look at Gere, two brains, Diamond Platinumz and Tanasha Donna had to copy all video scenes from Iza’s Brisa songs. Dude needs to be creative! I mean if you have to copy, do it in a twisted way.

In addition, on Jeje he has openly stolen creativity from Burna and Wizkid. Dude this leaves us with questions like does he even write his works or he translates?

Again where does he even get the energy to copy all this and keep repeating it again and again? Also, it is not the second that Diamond Platinumz has been accused of plagiarism. There are a lot of videos online showing how he has copied costumes of big hits.

I know you will still argue with me that he is still the biggest in East Africa but please keep your stones. Also, this is how people slowly lose their audience and fan base.

To add on, am left wondering where did the old Diamond Platinumz go to. I’d rather watch the original work than this copied low budget scenes.

Diamond Platinumz has fooled his fans for long but Gere exposed him to the world. Lol, it is funny how he even can’t perform his work in concerts but only does the ones he has done remixes from other singers.

Diamond Platinumz improve on your work. The world will soon run away from your copied work.
