Also, she touched on the repercussions of Moesha’a line of business for survival.

“I bet you after some time, they will never benefit from that. They will see what it will bring to them. Our body was not made to be used by a lot of men to make money and you know most of these men who give them are politicians, they are businessmen who maybe, actually didn’t struggle to get their money”.

They should not let the big man use them like that, the monies they give them mostly are stolen money, monies that are stolen from the country.”

A Plus Goes On Rant Against NPP — Asks “Did You Call For Change To Continue Mahama’s “Incompetence” Or To Make Things Better?”

A-Plus callls out the NPP.

Rapper, A Plus has some fire for the Nana Akufo-Addo government. Furthermore, this is about employing an absurd number of staffers at the Presidency. Also, for their lukewarm response to criticism of their actions.

He made this rant on Facebook.

Moreover, A Plus chides the new government for claiming to stand for change. However, they came in and doing something worse than what the NDC even did.

Also, A Plus slammed the explanation given by some NPP communicators.

The political rapper, real name Kwame Asare Obeng, rubbished that excuse. He positing that we didn’t vote for change for them to come and continue the ‘incompetence’ of the NDC.

A-Plus’ rant against the NPP about presidential staffers

“One of the reasons why we called for change was that then President Mahama and his NDC government had appointed too many people at the presidency. I went live of Facebook countless times to tell the world how tax payers money was being wasted on unwanted presidential staffers.

Fortunately we got the change we cried for. Instead of reducing the number to a reasonable one or at least maintaining the same number we increased it and told Ghanaians that we have added “only a little over 220.” “Most of them were appointed by Mahama.” Such nonsense. Did you call for change to continue Mahama’s “incompetence” or to make things better?”

The ‘Mansa’ hitmaker stated that in spite of the many jabs thrown at him by his KK Fosu he still adores him.

Few weeks back, KK Fosu made headlines when he attacked Bisa Kdei saying he is a weak highlife ariste. He added that, Bisa wouldn’t have made it to the limelight if people like him(KK Fosu) were still actively involved in the music industry.

According to KK, the “Mansa” hitmaker has weak stagecraft and fears his (KK Fosu) brand hence wonders why he would continue being a highlife artiste.

“I think KK Fosu is a legend. I don’t think he should say things like that on radio. I see him as a big brother. Calling me for competition is not necessary because I rate him among the Daddy Lumbas so I respect and love him…”, he said.

“It is not affecting me because everyone knows what he is doing. I am his junior brother and if anything he should call me. He can advise me but if he says things on radio like that then it means something else. I don’t have any issues with him…”, he added.

Veteran actor, Ekow Blankson issues an apology to the people offended by his statement.

In an interview with SVTV, he stated,

“I think the Kumasi movie industry is a different form of film making, it’s actually concert party where you don’t prepare a script and follow. They are given pointers and they have to create out of it and that is the concert party style and they have enhanced it into film.”

However, Kumawood reacted with displeasure. Also, the CEO of Kofas Media said even Akrobeto is better than him. Therefore, he quickly issued an apology. Also, he took to Facebook to apologize for offending his colleagues by posting;

Ekow Blankson’s apology about comments on movie industry

“Omg! My attention has been drawn to some displeasure from my brothers and sisters on an interview I granted on SVTV. Foremost, let me sincerely apologize to all “KUMAWOOD” actors if I have in anyway offended them. The caption and parts of the interview quotes were taken completely out of context. I am not that callous to ridicule or insult my own. I am told the full interview will be out today or so. Rather, I was encouraging our young talents oooo.

Yes I made some comments leading to the case I was making in favour of our industry. I made reference to the international market and how we can get there. I even applauded concert party which is a great form of theatrical arts. It was not meant at all to defame or insult any group at all. In fact i respect them a lot and that was the point I was making.

I think that most of the young ones should be encouraged to attend some acting classes to make it better. We can compete well with the kind of creativity we possess. I admire their spontaneity and extensive acts.

Please will anyone kindly extend my sincerest apology to them. I will under no circumstance disrespect my own. It can only get better.”

From his caption, Kuami Eugene obviously recognizes the immense contributions his mother has made in his life to make him what he is now.

Meanwhile, Kuami had in an earlier interview on GHONE TV revealed that he was a very stubborn child whiles growing up. He added that, his stubborness nearly nearly killed his mother, just like any other mother feels about her child.

According to Kuami Eugene, He recounted how he took french leave from school to town at a time that his mother thought that he was in school.

He said he went to live with one music producer in the Eastern Region all because he wanted to pursue his music career.

Akrobeto Is A Better Actor Than Ekow Blankson And He Knows It – Kofi Asamoah

Kofi Asamoah has words for Ekow Blankson.

Last week, veteran actor, Ekow Blankson made certain comments on the movie industry. Furthermore, he spoke about the new crop of actors and also the Kumawood industry. Moreover, he stated,

“I think the Kumasi movie industry is a different form of filmmaking, it’s actually concert party where you don’t prepare a script and follow. They are given pointers and they have to create out of it and that is the concert party style and they have enhanced it into film… For me personally, I think that our new crop of actors are just jokers. Unfortunately, they aren’t as exciting and real as people have done in the past. Sometimes it gets a bit worrying watching them perform.

Acting isn’t a substitute at all… In America, they have realized a lot of revenue from Tourism especially with film. Film has given them a lot of foreign exchange and also same in India, Canada, Australia and even in Africa, Nigerians are doing so well in movies. As many filmmakers complain that there’s no work to do because the industry is challenged, Nigerians come into Ghana and they tap the talents and resources we have here and make lots of money.”

However, these comments irritated the Kumasi movie industry. Therefore, the CEO Of Kofas Media Kofi Asamoah has hit back. According to him, Akrobeto of Kumawood is a better actor than Ekow Blankson.

Kofi Asamoah made these comments about Ekow Blankson’s statement on Zylofon FM.

“I’m sure Ekow Blankson knows that Akrobeto is a better actor than him but just because one can’t speak English or one didn’t go to a film school or performing arts school doesn’t make them jokers like he said.”

Also, he defended Kumawood.

“Sometimes I don’t know what is wrong with us… Is it wrong to produce comedy movies all the time? No, so what’s the problem? How many Drama and horror films is Hollywood producing now because the time of horror movies is far off.”

Photos: Times Afia Schwarzenegger Dazzled In African Prints

There’s the fight and campaign by government and some celebrities for high patronage and use of made-in-Ghana goods

As it is said, charity begins at home. If we want our products to be loved and patronized by foreigners then we must first show how much we love them.

African prints have become very popular these days. The prints come in varying quality and are have bright colors that can attract you from afar.

They usually speak volume of the difference between an African or Ghanaian and foreigners.

Just last month, there was great patronage of the prints due to the ‘Wear Ghana Month’.

Yes, the month of march every year has been set aside as the ‘ Wear Ghana Month’

However, this according to many Ghanaians won’t help much. Many believe that wearing of African cloths, Ankara, kente, smock should be a daily activity.

This way, we can move far and get the world to see and patronize our products.

There are few celebrities who are of course relentless in making this initiative a success. Though majority still prefer the foreign suits and others.

These few will however go unnoticed and we’ll continue to raise them high to create more awareness. Few days ago. We brought to you how actress and TV presenter, Efia Odo looked stunning in some selected African prints.

Today, ghaflagh.com has spotted a few photos of socialite, actress and TV personality Afia Schwarzenegger rocking in some colorful Ghanaian prints.

Photos: Nana Akua Addo Leaves No Stone Unturned, Slays In Breathtaking Black Outfit

It is definitely for this reason that she has been accorded the accolade ‘Ghana’s Slay Queen’

It’s been four months now since we last saw her as usual slay in her painstakingly-made outfits.

If you ever for once thought that she’s probably run out of resources to keep slaying or yet still that she has quit what she does best, then there’s bad news for you.

However, if you’re a fan of hers and has been waiting for her first ‘big slay’ of the year, then hold your breath Because she’s back.

Nana Akua Addo, of course needs no introduction when it comes to fashion. However let’s just quickly do a flashback to 2017.

Remember the lady who made headlines with her red gown and a 24 Karat gold mask at the AFRIMMA awards?.
How about the one who wore a mirror dress which took two years to sew to the Abryanz Style and Fashion awards?.

Well, all that was just one person, Nana Akua Addo, aka ‘Gh Ish girl’ .

Nana Akua Addo is an actress, fashion mogul and mother who has won multiple awards including several nominations not only from her movies but from her flawless sense of fashion as well.

She was missing at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Her great fashion sense and the stare she causes whenever she steps on the red carpet were greatly missed.

But the good news is, we get to see her first slay on the red carpet in 2018 and that was at the Ghana Women of the year awards.

The 3rd edition of the Ghana Women Awards took place over the weekend. The event, which came off at the Labadi Beach hotel had the fashion icon make her usual mind-blowing dress.

She of course left many giving her a hundred over ten for her stunning black outfit.

Nana Akua Addo went with the theme of the event which was centered on celebrating women of excellence.

She came in dressed like the African queen she is with excellence.

She appeared in an elegantly made black gown by the internationally renowned designer from the Philippines, Leo Amodal.

Her ‘Wakanda’ dress we believe cost her a lot but of course, the Gh Ish girl never settles for less. That’s why she’s the Slay Queen.
