KSM Says God Made A Mistake When He Created Black People

Veteran Ghanaian comedian and satirist, Kwaku Sintim Misa sparked a Twitter brouhaha. This started after he passed some comments about black people.

Furthermore, according to him, black people are defective. Therefore, God needs to recreate us.

However, it seems to many people online KSM went too far. This is because his words caused a massive backlash.

Writing on his twitter page, KSM said defective products are often recalled by companies and reproduced and said God should do same for Blacks.

Fifa Names Normalization Committee To Run Ghana Football In The Interim

FIFA announced the appointment of a normalization committee to run the Ghana Football Association. This is until they elect a new body of officers.

Furthermore, Fifa’s announcement comes after the government held up their end of the agreement struck in the earlier meeting.

The meeting agreed that Fifa would hold off on banning Ghana. Therefore, in return we would discontinue the case to dissolve the GFA in the courts.

Moreover, after the Attorney General withdrew the case, the football body named a committee.

The committee would be a joint Fifa/CAF task force. Also, they would not be eligible to run for election in the new GFA.

FIFA’s statement in about committee and the way forward

Following the recent meeting between FIFA and Government of Ghana officials together with the head of the FIFA/CAF liaison team for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) concerning the situation of the GFA, and taking into consideration the subsequent withdrawal by Ghana authorities of the petition to liquidate the GFA, the Bureau of the FIFA Council decided on 27 August 2018 to appoint a normalisation committee for the GFA. The suspension of the GFA will consequently not take effect.

The normalisation committee’s mandate will include the following tasks:

– To run the GFA’s daily affairs and cooperate with the special task force 

– To review the GFA statutes to ensure compliance with the requirements of FIFA and CAF, particularly art. 15 of the FIFA Statutes, and;

– Once the GFA statutes meet the requirements of FIFA and CAF, to organise and conduct elections of a GFA executive committee on the basis of the revised GFA statutes.

The normalisation committee shall be composed of an adequate number of members to be identified by a joint FIFA/CAF mission to be deployed to Ghana as soon as possible. All members of the normalisation committee must pass an eligibility check to be carried out by the FIFA Review Committee. The normalisation committee will act as an electoral committee and none of its members will be eligible for any of the open positions in the elections.

The specified period of time during which the normalisation committee shall perform its functions shall expire when all of the above-mentioned tasks have been properly fulfilled, but by no later than 31 March 2019.

Ghanaian musician, Kuami Eugene is one of the hottest young talents Ghana have on the music scene.

Okyeame Kwame Set To Release The First Single Of His “Made In Ghana” Album

Ghanaian hiplife musician, Okyeame Kwame aka Rap Dacta has new music on the way. Furthermore, this is the first track on his much-anticipated “Made In Ghana” album.

The sensational Ghanaian rapper has not released a major album since 2012.

According to sources, the first single of “Made In Ghana” album is out early September 2018.

Van Vicker Sidelined By Actors Guild – Abeiku Sagoe

Veteran actor, Abeiku Sagoe talks about the Ghana Actors Guild.

Furthermore, according to him,the president of the guild, Sammy Fiscian sidelined the Vice President of the Guild, Van Vicker.

He made these statements in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.

Moreover, he alleged that Van Vicker and some others have been marginalised. Therefore, they are not part of decision making of the Guild.

Also, he states that the Guild is currently being run by Sammy Fiscian, Oscar Provencal and Ken Fiati.

After the elections in 2017, Sammy Fiscian claimed that Van Vicker does not support him with the running of the affairs of the actors’ body.

English Premier League side, Manchester United suffered one of their most humiliating defeats ever in recent memory.

Ghanaian actor, Yaw Dabo is an avid supporter of the team. Also, he was one of the people that the loss affected.

Moreover, it seems the actor lost GH 4,000 because of Manchester’s lose.

According to Saddick Adams, the money in a bet he placed in favour of Manchester United.

Stop Playing Nigerian Music – Deejay Advicer Tells Ghanaian DJs

Ghanaians are still fuming about the humiliations meted out to two of it’s top artistes last weekend by Nigerians.

This has awoken a realization in Ghanaians that both Nigerian fans and DJs are not ready to support Ghanaian music like Ghanaians are supporting theirs.

Award winning radio presenter and DJ at Happy 98.9 FM, Isaac Degraft Danquah known in showbiz as Deejay Advicer is the latest to add his voice to the brouhaha.

DJ Advicer has advised his fellow Ghanaian DJs and promoters to stop promoting Nigerian music.

In a social media post spotted by Wyse Brain of Asembi.com, Deejay Advicer, the winner of the Best Promoter award at Ghana DJ Awards 2018 shared a bitter experience of how a Nigerian DJ ignored Ghanaian songs even while in Ghana.

He posted: ”Hmmm am playing a show for one rich Naija man in Aburi and he brought a Dj from Naija, so I asked him if he knows Shatta Wale he said no. I took over after so much talking about Wale and played Gringo just for him to know who I was talking about and handed over to him. He keeps playing Naija songs.

I feel there is an Agenda by these Naija guys. Either they pretend not to know our Artistes or just don’t want to play songs from GH. Make we do dem some wai. I bore ruff”.

Rex Omar To Release 5th Single Tomorrow

Legendary Highlife musician Rex Omar, is set to release his fifth single this year.

Titled, ‘Onipa’, this single will hit the internet and airwaves tomorrow August 30, 2018.

This however, forms part of his ‘Highlife Agenda’ Project.

The ‘Highlife Agenda’ is an initiative by Rex Omar to redefine Highlife music and preserve it as a wholly Ghanaian brand.

The ‘Abiba’ hit maker in April this year started an operation “One Month One Banger” project.

The project is to enable Rex release a song every month for the next three years as part of the highlife Agenda Project.

Nigerians Know Stonebowy But Not His Songs – Becca’s Husband

The freshest celebrity husband in town and husband of songstress Becca, Tobi Sanni Daniel says Nigerians know Stonebowy very well, but not his songs.

The CEO of The State of Mind Entertainment was speaking on the the humiliation Zylofon

According to him, it’s not only Ghanaians who have faced such a problem,

but South Africans also face the same issues of getting their music known in their country, Nigeria.

He however added that, when an artist outside Nigeria releases a song and doesn’t come

TobiDaniel further stated that Stonebwoy is well known in Nigeria but his songs ain’t known that much.

His advise however is that Stonebowy or any other artiste who wants his songs to be known by

Nigerians should make a bigger stand  y introducing more of their music to the Nigerians for

them to patronize them more.

 

I Visited Dr. Obengfo For Surgery – Mzbel

Hiplife artiste, Mzbel talks about body augmentation.

She was on Celebrity Ride show hosted by Zionfelix.

Furthermore, she revealed that she went to the Dr. Dominic Obeng Andoh of Advanced Body Sculpt Centre known as Obengfo Hospital for a flat stomach.

According to her, she went to reduce her stomach fat. This is because she was tired of working out for long hours and wanted a quick result for the stomach.

Moreover, she revealed that she was almost through with the requirement asked by Dr. Andoh. However, they asked her to pay GHC 70,000 in order to proceed with the surgery. She realised that the surgery was too expensive for her. Therefore, she put the surgical procedure on hold in order for her to prepare adequately for it later on.

Furthermore, she revealed that she was ready to go back in a week after to plead with Dr. Andoh to take GHC 50,000 instead of the said amount thus GHC 70,000. However, the hospital was shut down in order for the doctor to be well investigated by the death of Stacy Offei Darko.

She stated that the death case scared her a little. Therefore, she decided to forget about the surgery and move on with her long hour’s workout in order to put the body in shape.

 

I Regret Doing Gospel Music – Erico of Mentor Fame

Winner of TV3 Mentor 3 music reality show, Erico has said he surely regrets venturing into gospel music after his success at the competition.

The Gospel musician, who has expressed his disappointment in the gospel music industry

maintained he will completely give up on the genre in his next life.

He however revealed that he will at any point in his next life venture into Highlife music.

“For me, when I’m reborn to this earth I’ll not venture into gospel music. I’ll choose highlife instead because most stakeholders in the gospel industry are so so wicked. They don’t support artistes,” he said.

Erico made this revelation in an interview on Entertainment on Kasapa FM.

He recounted how he has been treated unfairly by notable church leaders and event organizers

who have refused to pay him for services he rendered to them.

He noted that most of his colleague gospel artistes suffer same fate in the hands of several

men of God because they don’t value their talents.

“The challenges we (gospel artistes) go through is numerous but most people think

everything is well smoothly.

We are invited to perform at churches and other corporate events yet we treated as if our talent is for free.

Most Pastors don’t pay us when we perform at their events. I remember how one man of God refused to pay me after performing at his church and I had to walk from Nungua to my house at North Kaneshie,” he said.

According to Erico, church event organizers think because their talents are gift from

God they should minister for free.

“At times the money given to you is so humiliating that it can’t take care of your team’s

transport back to their destination.

But he also recounted how costly and challenging it has been for gospel artistes to record songs, market and promote them.

Feeling regretful for doing gospel, Erico said he ignorantly ignored an advise by Mark Okraku Mantey to venture into highlife music.

“After I was crowned winner of Tv3’s Mentor 3, Mark Okraku Mantey told me in plain language that I should rather do Highlife because that is what suits me

but I thought that because gospel has been my background from day one, I can’t do away with that genre

but I’ve now realized Okraku’s advise was true. In my next life, I’ll rather choose Highlife over gospel.” Erico sadly told Kojo Preko Dankwa

20 Ladies Qualify For Maiden Edition Of Miss Golden Stool

Organizers of the maiden edition of Miss Golden Stool scout for contestants for this year’s Miss Golden Stool competition.

Furthermore, hundreds of young beautiful ladies thronged to the Kosados Arena Hotel in Kumasi over the weekend. However, only 20 beautiful ladies who made to the next stage of the competition.

Moreover, this year’s pageant would house 12 outstanding constants out of the 20 picked from the audition in order to compete for the crown.

On the search panel were Ghanaian actor Ekow Smith, Mampong Hemaa and Akua GMB. The three judges gave opportunities to 20 ladies to the next stage of the competition leaving several others heartbroken.

Six Packs Won’t Pay Your Bills – Actress

Budding actress Belinda Sefakor Dzata, has revealed that she is not so concerned with the physical looks of any man she would like to call her husband.

According to the “Heels and Sneakers” actress, she would look for a friend in a man she would want to marry.

The voluptuous actress made this revelation in interview with Ayisha on SVTV AFRICA.

“I believe in friendship because friendship would make the marriage bloom as there would be nothing hidden in the marriage.” the actress explained

She however revealed that she does not consider things like a man with six packs, a tall or better still a well-built man.
