George Quaye Explains Why Charterhouse Has Parted Ways With GhOne TV

Head of Communication at Charter House, George Quaye says contrary to what Ghanaians are speculating, the organization didn’t part ways with GhOne TV due to any ‘beef’.

Few days ago, Chatterhouse announced that it had signed a new partnership agreement with Media General, owners of TV3.

This agreement, gives them the right as media partners for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

However, until the news, GhOne has over the years been the media partners for the awards scheme.

As usual, Ghanaians sensed some kind of ‘beef’ and descended heavily on Chatterhouse.

This has therefore prompted the explanation from the organization’s Head of Communication.

According to Mr. Quaye, Charter House does not have problems with GHOne TV.

Mr. Quaye was speaking in an interview on Zylofon Media.

He indicated that they had embraced change and that they have no problem with Gh One TV.

He noted that over the years, they had been approached by several other media outlets for the coverage. Hence they decided to embrace change this year which is why they had a different media partner.

Mr. Quaye urged the media should always learn to embrace change because that is what growth means.

He advised the media to desist from tagging negativity to any news they come across.
