I Don’t Spend My Money On Girlfriends – Kalybos

Comic actor Richard Kwaku Asante widely known as Kalybos says he doesn’t squander his money on women.

According to him, he’s not obliged to cater for a woman he isn’t married to.

Kalybos made this revelation when he appeared on one of the episodes of ‘Celebrity Ride with Ziofelix’ few days ago.

Asked if he takes care of ‘girls’, Kalybos explained that dating or courting a lady doesn’t mean you should carry the burdens of catering for her. He added that he has family members to cater for instead of squandering his money on women.

According to him, he was catered for by his father, which means he wasn’t buying anything for himself. Catering for someone hence means you providing the basic necessities of the person.

Kalybos is of the notion that a lady must be able to cater for herself and not put all the burdens on her man.

However, he added that, spending on your girlfriend once in a while are gestures that only spice up the relationship.

Kalybos speaks;

“The lady I’m dating now is working. I’m not married to you, why then must I be the one to cater for you. Taking your lady out once in a while, or buying a dress you like for her doesn’t mean you’re catering for her. These are just things we do to spice up things in a relationship,” Kalybos told Zionfelix.

The ‘John and John’ actor disclosed that he’s currently dating only one woman, describing himself as a very ‘faithful’ man.

 Kalybos was rumored to be dating comedienne Jacinta but he denied this assertion on the show.

“Jacinta is just a friend, she and I have never even dated,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kalybos is reported to have parted ways with his former boss Kofi Asamoah.

He’s currently running his own comic series dubbed ‘Adventures of Kalybos’
