I Never Proposed Marriage To Lebene – Kofi Adjorlolo

It would be recalled that the love relationship between actress and model Lebene Mekpah and veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo had come to an abrupt end months ago.

Whiles Lebene came out to speak on the subject matter, Mr. Adjorlolo on the other hand had remained silent.

Prior to this, It was widely speculated that Lebene’s father was against their romantic relationship.

The actress later came out and explained why her father was against the relationship.

This she attributed to the fact that her father was against the relationship due to their age difference.

In a recent interview however, Kofi Adjorlolo opened up and said he never proposed to the actress and they were never engaged as speculated earlier.

Mr. Adjorlolo was speaking in an interview with Sokoo Hemaa Kukua on Rainbow 87.5FM.

Kofi Adjorlolo’s Interview

According to him, the circumstances surrounding him and Lebene still remains a mystery to him. The celebrated actor revealed on the show that ‘’When the issues came up I did not utter a word because the circumstances surrounding it baffled me,’’ he said. He also added that, of recent times; I had finished working at Aburi; Prince David Osei was organizing a party. Some of the actors on set went to the party. So I decided to go with someone I knew. All of a sudden she has become my lover. I am not dating her”. His comments follows a publication by Daily Guide that he has found a new lover after breaking up with Lebene.

He further explained that, the lady is a song writer and had already written 3 songs for him and cannot be his fiancee.

But when he was pushed to deny whether he promised to marry Lebene, he stressed “so you believe whatever a journalist writes?

‘’There are some things that must remain a mystery.

And it will remain a mystery forever. The mystery surrounding myself and Lebene is in the past. We should not be talking about it again,’’ he added.

Congratulations! Kofi Adjorlolo Receives International Award

Award -winning actor, Kofi Adjorlolo was last Thursday honoured in Liberia by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf with the International Golden Image award.

The award seeks to recognize individuals and institutions for excellence and dedication in their various endeavors and creating an impact on communities and in the society as a whole.

Under the theme “Let’s maintain the peace “, and commemorating 169 years of independence, the event, the 7th edition this year, took place in Monrovia at the Monrovia City Hall and was well attended by dignitaries from all over the world.

The Award has eight(8) categories. Education, Empowerment/ Development, Leadership, Democracy, Peace and Security, Health, Human Rights, and Creative Arts/Culture.

Kofi Adjorlolo who is well known for his accomplishments and versatility in the art of film making and acting was cited for excellence in the creative arts category with special mention for promoting peace and unity through film making thereby creating a positive impact on society.

Ambassador Queen Juli Endee, Cultural Ambassador of Liberia and visionary founder of the international Golden Awards reiterated, in her goodwill address the need for advocacy for social Justice and community engagement through communication for development, peace, and capacity building programs with emphasis on children affected by the prolong civil war in Liberia.

Kofi Adjorlolo in his acceptance speech after receiving the award made a call on all artiste both young and old especially in the West Africa region to work harder and enhance their roles and responsibilities in nation building, empowerment, and skill training programs to accelerate cultural development. He also expressed gratitude to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for the honour bestowed on him by the government and people of Liberia.

I’m In Love With A Young Fine Gentleman-Victoria Lebene

After her collapsed relationship with veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo, actress and model, Victoria Lebene is breathing a fresh breeze of love.

Spanking new information from the camp of the actress, who has now become a force to reckon with in the movie industry, indicates that her heart now beats to the tune of a young fine gentleman.

According to Ghanaian actress Victoria, she has moved on and admits her relationship with Kofi Adjorlolo is over. She said: “I have moved on, I am in love with a young fine gentleman.”

“It is not like I am into older men so by hook or crook I need someone older. Love is love and it can be found anywhere, this time around, I found it in a young man.”

She, however, described her new found love as mature and understanding. “He understands the business I am in and he is someone who will not come complaining that I did this or that, this was said and written about me, I took a photo with this person and all that. He is cool with what I am doing so far as showbiz is concerned,” Victoria Lebene told Graphic Showbiz.

According to her, she has gone through a lot, especially with her family members, since her relationship with Kofi Adjorlolo became public, and she has now gotten to a point where she has to choose between her family and Kofi Adjorlolo. She said she was happy with Kofi but her happiness would never be complete if her family, especially her father is not part of it.

“I had moved on and worked on myself mentally the moment my dad got serious and told me he didn’t want me to be with Kofi. I am a strong person and I believe in positivity so things that I have control of, I deal with it but if I don’t, I just let it go and life goes on,” she added.
