I Never Said Kwaw Kese Will Be A Man Of God – Lord Kenya

Former hip-life artiste now an evangelist, Lord Kenya, has denied rumors that he had said rapper Kwaw Kese will become a preacher of the Gospel.

There have been wide speculation and high publications quoting Kwaw Kese to have said evangelist Lord Kenya wants him to pursue God’s work but he (Kwaw) is not ready.

However, Lord Kenya in a recent interview said he never said anything of that sort.

According to him, he had an encounter with the rapper in a Kumasi prison in 2014.

Kwaw Kese was arrested and sentenced for narcotic offenses prior to a concert in the Ashanti Region that same year.

He added that in the course of their encounter, his conversation with Kwaw Kese hinged on his salvation.

Lord Kenya speaks;

“I bought him a bible and an everyday guide to reading his bible and all that. Then I advised him that something might come of out where he is and with God all things are possible and God will help out of it.” He told Joy News’ MzGee

“When he came out we had a couple of conversations, he told me he was going to church. So is it wrong for me to visit him or is it wrong for me to say to him that give your life to Christ?” He added.

Asked if the claims by Kwaw was anything to go by, Lord Kenya born Philip Akpor, answered in the negative.

“As for him, all those prophecies that came out, they said that I said, he is a man of God. He will be a man of God. I really do not want to go there”. He stated.
