Pope Skinny Salutes Sarkodie Over ‘My Advice’ Diss Song

Sarkodie has been making headlines since he dropped his latest single ‘My Advice’, a song many believe is a diss at Shatta Wale.

Since the release on Wednesday, many artistes have been praising the SarkCess Music boss for his ‘murder’ content of lyrics.

One artiste whose comment has however shocked many Ghanaians is that of Pope Skinny, who is presumably Shatta Wale’s right hand man.

The AsuodenGod, like many others, has shown his admiration for the song.

Pope Skinny in a tweet said: “King Sark, this is real rap”.

Meanwhile, Kwaw Kese who was labelled ‘poor’ by Shatta Wale has also responded via a tweet saying. But Kwaw believes that this single from Sark has ‘killed’ Shatta’s upcoming ‘Reign’ album.

“Now that people know a single can kill albums, they’ll be taking #Advice serious…… Ns3 wagye wo gbeimgba #Porkum”, he tweeted.

I’m Better Than All Those New ‘School’ Musicians – Pope Skinny Brags

Asuoden Music Boss,Pope Skinny, has claimed in a live Facebook video that he is way ahead and better than all the new artistes winning awards lately.

The Hiplife artiste, who has not been very active in Commercial music for a while now claims to have a better rap and punchlines than the new school rappers who only focus on a hit song.

Adding that, he can use just a song to “Murder” every hit song of theirs because he possess qualities beyond just ordinary hit songs which they lack.

He also insisted in the video that most Ghanaian musicians only use a hit song to claim ‘best’ in the industry when they are nobody.

“Any rapper who calls for battle with me, Pope Skinny invites Humiliation and Disgrace for himself and I am ready to teach them lessons beyond just the use of hit songs to claim Best Artist.” He retorted in the video which has since gone viral.

He further mentioned being better than them in terms of music composition and everything concerning it.

Pope Skinny says even though Sarkodie is trying his best to dominate and put Ghana Music on the international market, He (Pope skinny) still reigns as the Best rapper from Ghana per his influences on the Music industry.

I Helped Shatta Wale Gain VGMA Recognition After Years – Pope Skinny

Asuoden Music president, Pope Skinny, now Asuoden God has stated that he has been very useful to the growth of Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.

According to him, Shatta Wale gained a VGMA nomination again after failing so many times so many times.

This he claimed was possible only after he(Pope Skinny) hosted the latter on his radio show, Kasahari Levelz years ago.

The Akuapem rap was speaking in an interview with Sokoohemaa Kukuaa on Rainbow Radio.

“Shatta Wale was taken really serious after I hosted him on my show years ago. The interview shot Shatta Wale to greater heights. He gained recognition at the VGMAs for the first time after several failed attempts after that interview.”

Born Edwin Kwame Ohene Darko, the Asuoden God has now gone solo. This according to reports is after failed Shatta Wale effect.

He is undergoing re-branding of his personality as a musician and preparing himself to reap some wealth off the music business.

He however has songs like “Hot Cake”, “Wa Shatta Me”,”Adwoa”, “Special treat”among others to his credit.

Pope Skinny Rebrands; Says He’s Now Called ‘Asuodengod’

Ghanaian rapper and Asuoden Music Boss, Pope Skinny has announced a name change.

According to ‘Kasahari Levels presenter’, he is no more called Pope Skinny but rather “Auodengod”.

The ‘Akuapem’ rapper took to Twitter to share the news with his fans and the world.

He shared a photo of himself sitting in a couch at an airport. Beneath the photo is the caption;

“No More Pope Skinny The New Name Is AsuodenGod. Yes, The New Name Is ASUODENgod. #AsuodenYenti #SM4Lyff”.

The linguist of Ghana’s Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, however, he did not give a reason for the name change.
