You’re My Type Of Girl – Patapaa Tells Delay

Swedru-based artiste, Patapa Amisty has been trending for all the reasons you can think of, especially after losing the ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’ award to Fancy Gadam.

This time round, Patapaa is in the news again but not for losing but for love and ‘taste’ for women.

The ‘One Corner’ hit maker was on the ‘Delay Show’ answering a number of questions including his kind of girl.

Patapaa without mincing words told host, Deloris Frimpong Manso, aka Delay that she fits the description of ‘his taste’ of girl.

According to him, his ‘tiny’ body makes it necessary that he gets a lady like Delay who is very well endowed to compliment him.

“Delay, you see how slim I am? So if I get a lady like you, splendid!” Patapaa elatedly replied when asked to describe his kind of girl especially the type he would not be reluctant in making love to.

Delay was taken aback initially but later laughed it off.

He however, refuted claims that he has a girlfriend but stated he does not starve himself when he is horny.

“I don’t have a girlfriend but when I feel for sex, I enjoy myself. It’s not new to footballers and musicians. When we go for shows or football matches, we definitely get girls from the location and satisfy ourselves. The fact is, we are even on the wanted list of these ladies so when we make the move, they thank they are stars,” he said.

Background

Known in real life as Justice Amoah, he hit the limelight in 2017 when his ‘One Corner’ song went viral due to the dance which accompanied it.

The craze which required one to seclude him/herself in a corner and perform a sexually stimulating dance was heavily criticized by a section of the public who argued that it was evil.

Some celebrities, including Sonnie Badu and Maame Dokono expressed their dissatisfaction about the song at a time reports suggested that some people in their bid to join the craze lost their lives.

While the Ghanaian UK-based gospel artiste called on authorities to put measures in place to restrict it, the veteran actress argued that the song was having a bad influence on the youth and should, therefore, be banned.

That notwithstanding, many Ghanaians(both young and old) were seen in different viral videos dancing to the song.

It later traveled out of the shores of Ghana and many Nigerians were also seen highly patronizing the song.

‘One Corner’  missed out on the Most Popular Song of The Year at the 2018 VGMAs.

However, it was adjudged Viral Song of the Year at the maiden edition of 3 Music Awards.
