Three (3) Female Celebrities Who Obviously Regret ‘Sponsoring’ Men

Women are advised these days to forget the archaic tradition of waiting for a man to propose love or marriage to them.

They’ve been urged to be bold and do so to any man they love and would love to spend the rest of their lives with.

A few women, we know have done that and have been successful. But the majority are reportedly unsuccessful because, the men ‘ditch’ them at the end of the day. This, many claim is after they’ve gotten what they wanted from these women.

Some few Ghanaian female celebrities have been noted to have probabbly regret ‘sponsoring’ men. This is due to the fact that, these men, did to them the honor of ‘breaking’ their hearts of ‘betraying’ them.

Not to say that, it is these women who proposed to their men, however, they all have one thing in common. Thus, being hurt by the men they once trusted and would have given anything for. Aside that, these women are noted to be very hardworking and independent.

Below are three of such women:

1. Afia Schwarzenegger

Outspoken media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, recently revealed that one of her greatest regrets in life was all allowing her estranged husband, Lawrence Abrokwah into her life.

Afia lamented allowing Abrokwah, a man she described as one ‘who couldn’t pay her bride price’ leak her sex tape to the whole world. Something she added, she can never forgive herself for whenever she looks at herself in the mirror. This only proves that, Afia was the sole sponsor of their wedding, as well as the one who was providing for her ex-husband. However, we all know how the story ended.

2. Juliet Ibrahim

Here’s a very gorgeously endowed lady and a very rich and hardworking Ghanain woman as well.

We were all here when a beautiful and enviable relationship started with her and a Nigerian artiste, who we obviously got to know because he was exposed by Juliet.

Well, many Ghanaians, especially the men, were pissed off that she left them here and went for a Nigerian guy. This is not to say it’s bad to leave your countryman and go in for another from a different land. Of course not, there are many very successful inter-country marriages here.

Moreover, considering the fact that, the beautiful actress and entrepreneur had once married a Ghanaian man but couldn’t end well. It’s just natural that she probably decides to go in for one from a different country.

However, after some months of exhibiting and flaunting their love on social media, the two are no more seen together.

It appears this relationship has also hit the rocks after just about a year.

Some reports suggest that the struggling rapper had cheated on Juliet, who had been financially supporting him.

Although,Juliet has not come out to confirm whether she has broken up with Iceberg Slim, her actions on social media says it all. Afterall, action, they say speaks louder than words. The actress has deleted all the pictures of them together on her Instagram page. The only ones available now are those of ‘OROS’, a perfume company for which they’re both promoters for. You can talk about regret here.

3. Shatta Michy

After so many years of sticking with a man from the ghetto and working your a*s and supporting him, the story now is vague. I mean, who doesn’t know Michy and Shatta Wale? These two have been like the ‘Romeo’ and ‘Juliet’ of our time. Their recent stories, however, doesn’t look like they’ll both die for each other, maybe for their son though.

Michy, we all know comes from a rich home and who told us this? Shatta Wale of course.  According to reports, Michy supported Shatta Wale financially for years when he was a poor and struggling as an underground artiste.

The dancehall artiste himself admitted that Michy has been instrumental in his success. However, it seems all the sacrifices she made did not stop Shatta Wale from physically abusing and breaking up with her.

Today, Michy has joined the group of women who have regretted ‘sponsoring’ and supporting their partners through the hard times. These men, obviously know how to be very ‘grateful’ to women, if I may say. However, we just hope one day, these women wouldn’t be playing Pappy Kojo’s ‘Ay3 Late’ song for them.

So my question, is ‘Is the problem with money and fame or is it with the ‘men’?
