Mombasa-based singer Brown Mauzo has made a permanent mark to prove his perennial love for socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika. The two sweethearts are on the verge of becoming parents to a daughter in the next few months. This has probably expedited Brown Mauzo’s move for the tattoo.

Posting a video while getting the tat, Mauzo captioned;

”The love I have for my wife got me tattooing her name on my arm ???????? this is for you baby @queenveebosset ❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE YOU!!!”

Perfect Match

The relationship between the both Vera and Mauzo has been criticized on several occasions. They have witnessed several barbs thrown at them; with most claiming they don’t deserve each other. ‘With such a curvy physique and big bum, Vera deserves a wealthy guy’. This is just one the statements thrown at Vera.

But according to Vera, money is of less importance when you’re looking for true love. According to her, she has already dated men who are wealthier than Mauzo himself; and they didn’t treat her as good as Mauzo.

How We Met

Brown Mauzo and Vera met casually over 2 years ago; while she was still in another relationship. They later met in Mombasa a year later when Vera was working out. The rest is now history.

Most people will always accuse baby mamas of being bitter and dramatic; but truth is not all carry such pain – around unless triggered.

Well singer Brown Mauzo has found himself in the list of known deadbeat dads thanks to his ex wife; who claims that the guy is a seasonal father – and if I’m not wrong – his relationship with daughter is like that of a ‘car hire.’

The lady revealed this on her daughter’s IG page where she held a QnA; and unfortunately due to hurt emotions (denial) Mama Lareesa ended up embarrassing both herself and baby daddy.

This is after she went on to write;

For all those asking…yes his that kind of a father…one who pops up one day…n is gone for the rest of the year. I hope it answers your question.

Bitterness in denial

Judging from how she went on to talk about being legally attached to him; it’s obvious to see that mama Lareesa may still be in denial since Mauzo appears to have moved on with Vera already.

Anyway talking about her Union with the guy; she wrote;

And yes he still my mothers husband (legally) so Vera is nyumba ndogo. But hio nyumba iko wapi?

From her tone – I bet Mama Lareesa still has to work on herself; that is if she wants the coparenting to work. But again, doesn’t Mauzo have other 2 baby mamas on the side?

Brown Mauzo may not be making news through his music but one thing is for sure; being with Vera Sidika made him become more relevant in the entertainment industry – and I guess this is why he refers to her as his big break.

From what we know is that the couple got engaged and married about 6 months ago after their low key relationship. However Vera being one who enjoys parading her life on social media, the well kept secret found its way on social media.

Judging from how the former socialite carries herself around Mauzo, it’s clear to see that she is in love with the guy; but as for Mauzo – he prefers keeping his gangster points in check – hence no public romance on his page.

However as they both shared news of their soon to be born baby; Brown Mauzo through his IG page shared a loving message to his wife appreciating her for the bun in the oven. He wrote;

The two who have been spending quality time together down at Kenya’s coast in what seems like a hotel affair, are giving fans no break, with a series of romantic videos and photos spoiling each other with love.

In the most recent, the two were out relaxing and enjoying the mid-morning sun, lying by the poolside and getting all playful like teenage sweethearts.

Vera who was a bit chilled out, covered up her hair and minded her business, with Brown Mauzo believing she was the woman in his dreams, who eventually came to be. And for that, it feels like heaven on earth for him.

Well, after news of engagement to Vera Sidika went viral on social media; a few of his close friends made it their business to expose this young singer from Mombasa.

Coast-based singer Fredrick Mtinda, alias Brown Mauzo and famed for mega hits like; Nitulize, Natamani, Mawazo, Aniote and Hakuna Kulala has released a new song with Jovial, real name Juliet Ayub Miriam, and it’s a big tune.

The song titled Tujenge, which is Swahili for ‘let’s build’, has ruling the airwaves since it came out a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Jovial

Tujenge is a love song. It talks about a man who is trying to have a stable relationship with a certain lass but it she is not keen on settling down as keeps aborting his children.

The man assures her that all will be well and that he should give him a child because many people think that he has a problem.

I don’t know about you but Tujenge is such a beautiful composition. I’ve listened to it a couple of times since it came out and I’m still in love with it.

Brown Mauzo is such a talented singer. He has an amazing voice and the way he expresses himself in his songs, you get to connect with him on a personal level and tap into his emotions or state of mind when he was writing it.

Jovial also came through on this track. If you are her fan I am sure you know that she is a talented vocalist and has a wide vocal range and she put these skills to good use in Tujenge.

The beat and instrumentation on this jam is perfect. Other than the fact that they make it catchy, I’m sure that after listening to it you will agree with me that they blend well with both Brown Mauzo and Jovial’s voices.

The video is also dope because it aligns well with the themes of the song which are love, pain and misery. I also love the locations and smooth scene transitioning.

Wengi wanatamani bibi kama yule by Brown Mauzo in Natamani. Brown Mauzo has started the month with a lot of energy with his new jam. The new single dubbed Natamani comes is a few days in the start of the month.

Natamani is a Swahili word meaning admiring. This jam talks about him admiring a certain wife and in between he talks about what his grandfather taught him. I wish he could live the talk. Always I have thought that this dude is love stricken and each day he proves me right.

To start with, Brown Mauzo is very talented and he just needs to put more energy in his work. His love for Swahili music is good for his coastal audience. Honestly I do not know why Kenyans don’t support this dude. From the looks and the great voice. Anyway people are mean.

Message in ‘Natamani’

In addition to the good voice, Brown Mauzo is also talented in writing. At times I wish that he changes his style of music. Natamani is great from the wording.

Tukienda bafuni, mimi nitambeba mgongoni.. I hope you will not miss this line. He will carry her to the bathroom. Seems like this wife is suffering. Anyway this is daytime dreaming.

The song says that the wife who he is admiring is being tortured by the husband and all he has in his mind is how well he is going to treat her.

The song is full of emotions especially in between the stanzas. He is in love with someones wife. The audio is just great and the beats. Also, they bring out the mood of the song. There is one mistake towards the end where Brown Mauzo coughs, did the editor listen to that? Or am I very keen?

In conclusion, Natamani is worth your time. It is dope. Lastly, Brown Mauzo in Natamani gets a rating of 6/10.

Brown Mauzo fails to confirm or deny that he’s dating controversial socialite amber ray

During the weekend, word emerged that singer Brown Mauzo and socialite Amber Ray might be dating.

The two were spotted in Zanzibar enjoying the company of each other in a classy hotel clearly showing they were on a date.

More photos of the two have now emerged and Brown Mauzo has been forced to address the issue.

The two were again spotted in another restaurant in Nairobi. Amber later shared a photo with the same clothes on IG confirming she was with Mauzo.

Love

Speaking to Mpasho, the mellow singer neither denied nor agreed that they are now an item but confirmed the two were together the day they were spotted.

“Hahaahaaa. Love is a beautiful thing, but who told you that? I can’t reveal anything for now.” he said.

Otile Brown is becoming less popular every day

Maybe you’ve noticed, maybe you haven’t but talented Kenyan singer Jacob Otieno Obunga is becoming less popular as days fly by. But then again maybe it’s just me.

Gone are the days when he would garner millions of views a few days after releasing a song. These days, his songs take so many months before hitting the one million mark.

For instance, Japo Kidogo – a song he released with Khaligraph in March has 900,000 views. Anyone can tell you that this number is definitely good for many Kenyan artists but not for Otile Brown. It’s just what it is.

The Samantha hit maker had not done any interview with local media houses in the last two years. When contacted, he often told people that not doing interviews was part of his strategy.

About a fortnight ago I was astounded when I saw him on Citizen TV’s 10 over 10 promoting one of his latest releases dubbed Zichune. He was also on Milele FM and a couple of other radio stations. This really got me thinking.

Otile Brown

Perhaps Otile Brown has come to the realization that he is not as popular as he was in 2018. He knew too well that doing media tours would get him back on people’s lips and as a result they would check out his music.

I have two analogies that could explain Otile Brown’s dwindling fame. One is the obvious fact that he’s no longer dating popular socialite Vera Sidika. The fact is this lass made him popular and now no one cares because they are no longer together.

Two is the emergence of Masauti, Madini Classic, Brown Mauzo, Sudi Boy and the likes. Otile Brown brought Coastal music to the national stage and when he did, he opened the doors for others who perhaps are better than him.

Brown Mauzo brings on board Frasha for his new jam Ilete. Mauzo is really trying to come back even after he did a jam with Jovial and later pulled it down on youtube. Ilete is a collabo with one and only Fresha that talks about love.

This collabo brings out the best in the duo. Frasha has been off the market for sometime now. Could Ilete be the one to bring him on board?

Ilete has been the work of some great brains in the music industry. I am sure you know how Lizer does his work. Well he Mixed and Mastered the jam. The audio was produced by Ihaji.

This video has been directed by X Antonio. Also, I must say that there was great team work and co-ordination here.

Lyrical Presentation

In addition to the good production work, the lyrics and presentation of this jam is great. Also, looking at how the lines are organized, you’ll realize that there is energy input here. Actually, the role of turn taking is well organized.

Further in to Ilete, you,ll realize there are some lines you want to keep re-playing. Like when Frasha comes in with the most common lines in today’s artist work; Wamlambez, wamnyonyez and wamtokez.. Honestly I do not know what this means here but it is very noticeable. Could it be that the words are becoming an anthem?

Listening to this jam makes me remember Brown Mauzo’s old work and that of Frasha. There is something that still remains in them.

Wacha kijana tu ateleze, wacha jasho ijae kote.. What is the plan here? Ilete chini kwa chini mi naizamia. It seems there will be a lot of actions and energy spent here.

Generally, it is a good jam that targets the youth. I give it a rating of 6/

Brown Mauzo rises to the heights Kenyan music. He was born Fredrick Mtinda. Mauzo is a Kenyan artist. He is known to his work in Swahili. Mauzo has been in the limelight for dating celebrities. He was at one time for dating for dating Akothee alias ‘president of single mothers’. Also, he has been doing well in his music career here in Kenya and in East Africa.

Mauzo hit the airwaves earlier in the year as he was been rushed to hospital in an ambulance. He said that this was caused by a nasty break up with his lover something that saw him lock himself up for five days. Further he says that the body gave in to pressure from the break. Isn’t this crazy?

The Kenyan singer is the owner of Mauzo Classic Crew.

Music Career

Earlier in 2007, Brown was working with Wawili Peke group in South Coast Mombasa. Later in 2012, he started working as a Solo artist. This is when he released his first single ‘Subira’. In 2013 he proceeded to release ‘Natamani’ which made him who he is today. Mauzo has had several collaborations with Kenyan and Tanzanian artists like, Rich Mavoko, Alikiba, Naiboi, Bob Junior and Amini.

He has been working with Main Switch for his Audio Production and One point One Montage Production for video.

Otile Brown Vs Masauti: Who’s really the king?

Maybe you’ve noticed, maybe you haven’t but the truth is that Masauti’s prominence in the music industry is increasing each new day. He’s finally enjoying the fruits after 5 years (or so) of nothing but hard work.

Since the year began, the singer, whose real name is Mohammed Ali Said, has released 5 songs which have all done extremely well in Kenya as well as outside the country.

The 5 songs are; Kiboko, Sare, Kiboko (Remix) featuring Khaligraph Jones, Ipepete and Lola – a song that he did with Nadia Mukami.

Masauti’s sheer consistency is a clear sign that he didn’t come play. As such, it doesn’t come as a surprise that his star is shining so much so that it seems like he’s out to settle a score with Otile Brown.

Truth is, very few people gave a hoot about Coastal music a.k.a Kenyan Bongo until Otile Brown ‘used’ Vera Sidika to gain fame. He not only grew his name and following by dating the socialite, he also turned people’s attention on his music.

Masauti

As such, you would not be wrong if you gave Otile credit for popularizing Coastal music. In one way or the other, he opened the way for the likes of Masauti, Brown Mauzo, Madini Classic, just to name a few.

The first rule from Robert Greene’s book The 48 Laws of Power states that you should never outshine the master. However, it seems the people whom Otile Brown opened the way for are out to do just that, especially Masauti.

He seems keen on snatching the crown from Otile Brown’s head. Chances are, he already has. The more he gains prominence, the less popular the latter becomes. After all, there can only be one king.

Singer Brown Mauzo has agreed that he has been dumped but has shot down reports that he wanted to committed suicide after it happened.

“Si kweli (kunywa sumu) na tangu utotoni sijawahi ata kujaribu kunywa sumu. Kwa sababu navyojua mimi ni makosa ni dhambi ata mbele ya mwenyezi mungu. Singetaka kwenda motoni kwa kua nimejiua haikai poa. So si kweli kitu kama hicho,”he told Mzazi Willy M Tuva in an interview.

On why he was dumped, he said:

“Ni issue to personal nadhani za kifamilia kila mahusiano naamini inatokea wengi tatizo kwenye mahusiano ushaona Ni kama mitihani. Ilinifikia mahali kujiskia vibaya kwa sababu ni mtu ambaye nimetoka naye mbali.”

Brown Mauzo spills juicy details about his relationship with Akothee and why he was arrested

Singer Brown Mauzo is among the top Kenyan artists doing well in East Africa. His song Nitulize featuring Alikiba has opened doors for him to penetrate into Tanzania, giving his new songs more views…something that is now favoring his career.

His latest song ‘Nimchague nani’ has also been receiving some positive reviews from his fans and music critics. However, after releasing this particular song we learnt that he was arrested and from the rumors making rounds on social media this was because he used Akothee’s photo on his video.

For the very first time the fella has opened up about this saying that the stories were just propaganda and that he was actually arrested for using his phone while driving in the city. Speaking to Rashid Abdalla and Sameer during their recent interview the singer said that Akothee’s photo had nothing to do with his arrest.

He went on to deny that he has never been involved with Akothee and that their relationship was strictly professional. Brown Mauzo added that he was the one who helped the lady join the music industry and as far as they are concerned Akothee was just a fan from back in the day.

Singer Brown Mauzo has learnt the hard way not to mess with Akothee, the only lady who tells off men on social media and manages to get away with it.

However, unluckily for Brown Mauzo he was not trolled on social media but was forced to go into police custody for apparently using Akothee’s photo on his new music video without seeking her permission first.

This was revealed by Tuko who announced that the singer was arrested on Mother’s day and put into police custody after Akothee reported him.

With the connections she has, the mother of 5 proved that she is capable of anything and this is how her rumored ex-toyboy suffered the harsh consequences with no mercy.

What is more surprising is that he did not just use Akothee’s photo but Sarah Hassan, Wema Sepetu and Sanaipei Tande of which they did not complain since this is just the only way they could help the singer paint the story in his song to fans…but no Akothee was not ready to hear this as she ordered her photo to be removed or the video to be pulled down.
