An ever-bubbly Lilian Muli will be turning a year older during the week but with the current tight situation, she might be forced to scale it down this time around.

The TV beauty has been known for her high-end exquisite birthday parties that always leave the Internet ablaze.

At just 36 years in 2018, Bongo Flava star, Harmonize surprised a heavily pregnant Lilian Muli Live, in Citizen TV studios.

Gospel singer, Size 8 was forced to close her once gifted-to beauty parlor to concentrate on her newborn health’s and that of hers.

Linet Munyali speaks miracles when it comes to her two children, Wambo and Muraya Junior.

Both children especially her son, have not given her an easy time through the pregnancies, but, who is God? She came out victorious.

However, raising her newborn, Muraya Junior saw her give up a lot of things in order to concentrate on the young one.

Sacrifices

Let’s go back in time and during her birthday in 2019, DJ Mo gifted his wife a beauty salon but have you ever wondered,..what happened to it?

Well, she has spilled the beans. Speaking to Mpasho, Mama Wambo disclosed:

I gave it to someone else since I realized I could not manage it. My son was born at 34 weeks, and so I just wanted to focus on his health.

Baby Muraya was born through a C-section following complications a dear Size 8 suffered prior to the set delivery date.

Despite it all, her baby boy survived and so did she.

But for the mother of 2, she felt she needed to take care of her newborn and also concentrate on her health, therefore giving up a couple of responsibilities.

I also had to surrender some of my other responsibilities. I mean anything that I could live without, I left it because I was very sick.

Further revealing her health was still unstable even after giving birth and leaving the hospital.

Even after I was discharged, I was still not okay. My blood pressure was still high and I needed to rest.

The parlor was a project alongside the gospel DJ’s Friends car wash, Kilimani which he runs following his bad experience dealing with cars.

I have been frustrated the many times I have taken my cars to a car wash because of bad services.

KFCB’s Ezekiel Mutua reacts to Kenyan who raised concern against Sauti Sol’s ‘Suzanna’ track

Kenya Film and Classification Board’s chairman, Ezekiel Mutua has responded to a concerned Kenya about the real meaning to Sauti Sol’s Suzanna track.

In a letter published on a local daily, a citizen spoke out against the viral song whose cultural meaning makes it inappropriate.

In Luhya, ‘Senje’ translates to the sister of your father, the individual explained.

Sauti Sol’s hit Suzanna alias Senje should be banned from the Kenya Film Classification Board. Senje is Luhya for aunt-the sister of your father.

So according to the individual, it did not make sense how a song that promotes ‘incest’ should be allowed to play in radio and TV airwaves yet it was immoral.

How then can it be that a nephew and his aunt have a relationship? To fall in love with your father’s sister is unheard of, incestuous, an abomination and illegal.

The anonymous source strongly condemned Sauti Sol for misleading the youth and corrupting their minds.

Sauti Sol have lost the way on this one and should be punished. The song will corrupt the youth and should already have been proscribed.

Therefore, calling upon the acclaimed moral cop, Dr Ezekiel Mutua to intervene.

The KFCB CEO indeed listened to the individual’s plea and on the 27th of April, submitted it to the Broadcast Monitoring team for analysis.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the song had been reviewed and given a clean bill of health, therefore authorizing its continued broadcasting.

‘Suzanna’ was rated GE (General Exhibition), recommending it for all family viewing.

Kenyan boy band, Sauti Sol got wind of the allegations and cheekily responded:

After it’s release, Sauti Sol’s lead vocalist, Bien Aime Baraza explained that ‘Suzanna’ is about everything we use to conceal our real image.

From makeup, to alcohol, to the Gram, to the monikers…all that explains their new jam.

Adding that they picked on ‘Suzanna’ as the title and not ‘Senje’ because they felt the former would speak better especially to their global audience.

For the real meaning of Senje, Bien expressed:

The lovebirds barely welcomed their first child, Milla Netai on the 1st of February 2019 after much push and pull.

The proud parents of one, did not have an easy time with their first pregnancy.

Early February 2020, Terence revealed his wife had spotted (light bleeding) at just 3 months pregnancy which saw her bosses give her a month’s bed rest.

However, at just 7 months of the pregnancy the baby’s heartbeat could bot be heard and that worried the expectant parents.

…at 7months clinic we could not hear her heart beat, my heart sunk…

Fortunately, God came to their rescue and after 10 trials, they finally got the heartbeat.

…at exactly 39 weeks 1st February 2019 at 9:30am @millanetai landed safely to planet earth.

Only for things to get tougher with a 2-month old Milla Netai indicating a tumor in her tummy and that caused distress to the parents.

However, their God proved victorious at the end of it all and a dear Milla Netai proudly marked her first birthday on the 1st of February 2020.

at 2 weeks checkup , we discovered she has tumor in her tummy attached to her liver my heart sunk again, by the help of my gyna we got a good Surgeon who operated on @millanetai successfully.

Milly admitted her pregnancy had been tough on her.

Female singer, Akothee and Nairobi Senator, Johnson Sakaja are set to bag Kshs 50,000 each for their viral messages to Kenyans in regards to COVID-19 pandemic.

The last thing we need as a country is to down our tools against the fight against Coronavirus and anyone who keeps reminding locals on safety and precautionary measures during this time, is an advocate in their own way.

Well, Madam Boss Akothee’s and Senator Sakaja’s inspirational messages have caught the attention of moral cop, Dr Ezekiel Mutua who commended the two for a job well done.

The KFCB boss acknowledged the drive behind the two COVID-19 ambassadors and decided to duly award them.

Monday, the 27th of April, he tweeted:

Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja & sons are the winners of the most creative piece of art in raising awareness on COVID-19. Esther Akoth alias Akothee takes the trophy for the most improved artist in Kenya. Her online messages and content of late are very inspiring. 50k for both!

Despite having previously blasted the singer for her dirty music content, the moral ethic chief-whip noted that her recent online messages and content were quite inspiring.

Not just yet! Why Ruth Matete’s husband’s burial has been put on hold

Gospel singer, Ruth Matete has been barred from sending off her husband after investigations were left open for any interested parties.

In a new directive, the police have declared investigations into the death of Ruth Matete’s husband still ongoing.

What this means is that the late Apewajoye’s burial will have to be delayed until the probe into his death is concluded.

The Homicide unit said they welcome any other evidence that may offer contrary possibilities to the untimely death of the Nigerian pastor.

A Homicide Unit official urged individuals with additional information on the probe, to come forward and record their statements.

Just like in an inquest, this probe will remain open. Let those who have any other information come and share we analyse it for action.

At least 10 witnesses had so far recorded statements with the police, in regard to the March 30th incident.

Autopsy

Ruth Matete heaved a sigh of relief on the 23rd of April after postmortem results indicated her husband succumbed due to complications suffered, including sepsis and multiple organ failure.

“(Apewajoye) died because of mixed degree burns estimated at 60 per cent” stated Government chief pathologist, Dr Johansen Oduor.

Adding:

In burns, what kills are the complication that arise. In this case there was sepsis, multiple organ failure and all that.

This seemingly dismissed earlier allegations filed against the gospel singer, accusing her of hiding details regarding her husband’s demise.

Allegations

Mr Apewajoye’s claimed manager and friend, Jessy Mc Jessiey exposed the former Tusker Project Fame winner of being violent towards her late husband.

This saw the Nigerian High Commission get involved in the case, additionally putting on hold the deceased’s burial until the Nigerian government gives a go-ahead.

Something that Ruth Matete’s lawyer, Robert Adanga termed ‘unfair’.

Meanwhile, the late Belovedjohn Apewajoye’s body is being preserved at the Kenyatta National Hospital’s mortuary.

Kenyans are breathing fire on Churchill Show’s founder, Daniel Ndambuki with comedians now backing up the allegations filed against him.

A Churchill show comedian who sought anonymity, shared intimate details about Churchill’s mismanagement of talents through popular YouTuber, Edgar Obare.

Spilling the beans on his Instagram stories, the controversial vlogger shared screenshots of his chats with the anonymous source.

Hello Edgar, for fear of being sacked please hide my identity. Am a comedian at Churchill Show. The rumors spreading about Laugh Industry not paying Comedians is TRUE.

According to the source, their financial situation is so bad, he felt for young talents who have just started and life is proving too hard for them to survive.

Let me tell you, comedians are suffering out here. Some have had their houses locked over rent arrears. Dare the guy to send payslips or whatever he can prove he has paid us. Some of us are surviving coz we have online endorsement deals. Now, think about those upcoming comedians.

Unfortunately though, their complaints were never heard, let alone addressed, having been silenced by threats.

We have been complaining but we are silenced by threats of being fired. Actually, we have been directed to defend the guy on SM. You will not see the bigger brands complaining because of reasons we both know.

Apparently, this is information that Kenyans and the public have not been privy to, because Churchill’s PR team is seamless.

The comedian expressed:

Edgar, I know this won’t even help coz there are no signs of getting paid. I just want people to know the truth. CHURCHILL SHOW IS SCAM.

Explaining further, the undisclosed source pointed out that comedians who have come out of Churchill Show as brands, cannot afford to complain because of the investments Churchill has made in their lives.

This is rubbish… this guy has done so much to these comedians to warrant such, Eric Omondi, hamo chipukizi fred omondi tricky…. just to name a few.

With a case in point:

Look at the likes of YY. This YY used to come to Club native at garden city with his signature red suit and we had to buy him a drink as he tries to perform.

Recalling:

Back in 2016, you would be given Kshs 1,000 when you get on stage and if you make it to appear before the TV screens, then you’d be given Kshs 10,000. But just imagine what would happen to you if you never made it to the TV screens????????????????????????????

One might ask, why the big brands never spoke up before they hit fame, and a good example is Eric Omondi, who allegedly also never got paid while at Churchill.

Even Erick omondi said he was never paid while at churchill…he relied on gigs and endorsements…he was actually telling the young guys to stop complaining and use tha platform churchill has provided to better their brand. But I have never understood what is his [Churchill] excuse for not paying guys.

On the 26th of April, Daniel Ndambuki had responded to earlier allegations of mismanaging fans urging the public that ‘time will tell’.

This might have angered his show’s comedians the more, who feel irritated by the daring response.

DJ Shiti reveals his first stage name and why he was forced to change it!

Before DJ Shiti there was ‘Magazine’ a funny man from Nakuru who came to Nairobi in search of greener pastures; only to realize life in the city is harder than he expected!

Well this is a story about the current DJ Shiti who has been using his story to inspire the young people in the society.

Speaking during an interview with Jalang’o on Bonganajalas; Shiti for the first time revealed a few unknown things about himself including the fact that he was once known as Magazine.

When asked why he chose the name magazine at the beginning of his career; DJ Shiti opened up revealing that this name was creative to since a magazine always consists of a lot of information publish all together.

For him this was an easy name since he had also been carrying several talents in him; thus masking magazine a more reasonable name.

However, he later came to change Magazine to DJ Shiti – a name that left him making headlines on most tabloids! According to him sometimes a person is forced to take different directions just to achieve the same goal and this what he did.

Supporting his family

While many comedians continue to complain about payments; DJ Shiti has been handling his side hustles that have seen him make a few coins here and there.

However much life has been tough on him, DJ Shiti says he has never thought of quitting since his entire family looks up to him.

We all know that after arriving in Nairobi he had no place to sleep since his cousin refused to host him; however his friends at Koinange ended up showing sympathy and rented him a place to stay.

Wema Sepetu has come out to defend Diamond Platnumz in his bid to help 500 families during this Coronavirus pandemic.

Not many took his act of charity as any form of kindness. His baby mama, Zari Hassan bashed him for hypocrisy and selling a lie to the people.

Zari could not fathom how the father to her two kids was busy helping out other families, while he cared less about his very own young children: Tiffah and Nillan.

The Tanzanian model revealed she had thought about putting up this post several times and had finally decided…that so be it!

Up on Instagram, the former Miss Tanzania thanked Chibu for going out of his way and helping badly afflicted families during this particular time of COVID-19.

Wema believed that being especially the holy month of Ramadhan, this was kind of him and if it was a show of wealth, then every rich person would have given.

Risper Faith is tired of having her man at home and if anything; she hopes Coronavirus disappears soon since she can no longer handle him at home.

From a new post shared on her Instagram page, the mum of one goes on to reveal that Brian is a bedroom bulky; and if anything hopes that he will soon be going back to work.

This is however not the first time Risper is sharing such details about her husband on social media. So far we understand that having met on Instagram, the two fell in love and are now married with a son.

Kenyan godfather of comedy, Mwalimu Churchill is having it rough with Kenyans on Twitter after allegations filed against him for mishandling comedians, piled.

Comedians who have graced the popular Churchill Show have claimed to have been denied their pays for performances already done.

Daniel Ndambuki was crucified on Twitter for his alleged mismanagement of talent’s funds.

Kenyans asked the thriving stand-up to pay up comedian’s dues before it is too late.

Controversial blogger and cyber-activist, Robert Alai also chipped in, advocating for immediate pay of comedians who claimed to be owned by the entrepreneur.

Before bashing the Classic 105 radio presenter for poor management of finances, further exposing him for not paying comedians since late 2019.

NTV has fully paid him but because he lives a careless debt with poor financial management, comedians who provide him with content have not been paid since November 2019.

Every of Diamond Platnumz’s relationship either ended sour or with children left behind.

Diamond fathers children to: Uganda’s Zari Hassan, Tanzania’s Hamisa Mobetto and Kenya’s Tanasha Donna…at least.

He however had a past relationship with bongo actress, Wema Sepetu, with whom they never sired kids and therefore before moved on with Zari Hassan instead.

However, soon as it started, it ended, with Prince Nillan and Princess Tiffah as the product of the couple’s union.

The breakup came up after several cheating allegations were fired Diamond’s end, among them being with young video vixen and singer, Lynn. But so was Hamisa Mobetto who bore the Tanzanian crooner a baby boy, Dylan.

Co-parenting

Zari Hassan hoped she would co-parent with Diamond, only to later claim he had abandoned his kids and cared less how they sleep, what they eat nor how they study.

During her recent online rant, Zari bashed her baby daddy for claiming to be helping out 500 families pay their rent during this pandemic, while he cares less about his two young children back in South Africa.

The message reached Naseeb in good time and during his recent interview with Wasafi TV, he sought to respond on the same.

He believes Zari is bitter with him because she was the one left to take care of their two kids but assured that their lawyers had been talking through it.

You know when you are in a relationship with kids, there is some bitterness left. And that bitterness is especially with women since they are the ones left with kids. I saw the post and before then, we had been talking through our lawyers.

Humbly adding:

But I texted her [Zari] and told her that she was my co-parent and that her respect means a lot to me.

Chibu admitted that even though the two have their differences, his respect for her remains.

This is because she gave me my first kids and no matter how much we differ, my value for her will never go down.

Urging Mama Tiffah to keep their private issues away from the limelight. After all, they had talked beforehand and had arrived at a consensus.

I told her there is no need of putting such posts on social media since it is portraying such a bad picture. We talked and everyone put their issues on the table. We then agreed maybe there had been a miscommunication between our lawyers.

However, Diamond hopes to improve on his co-parenting with Zari once the Coronavirus pandemic is contained.

I thank God and am hoping that after coronavirus pandemic, our co-parenting will improve.

On a different note, the Tanzanian music sensation further disclosed that all he wants with his exes and baby mamas is Peace.

I want to live peacefully with anyone I have ever had a relationship with.

Nameless recalled his first date with Wahu, whom he had to wait for, for one good hour, broke and desperate to win her heart.

The celebrity couple celebrates 10 solid years of marriage but their dating history goes way back.

To stress how far back the two locked eyes, the couple’s first date was at a time when phones belonged to the high and mighty.

Betty Kyallo cannot thank health workers at Nairobi Hospital enough, for sacrificing their time, efforts and love for her daughter, Ivanna.

Late December 2019, the TV girl spoke of her daughter’s illness that saw her fight for her life in life support machines early in the year.

ADEM (acute disseminated encephalomyelitis) a rare autoimmune disease that is marked by a sudden widespread attack of inflammation in the brain and spinal cord, is what Ivanna battled.

After spending a month in the ICU, and 4 months in admission at the Nairobi Hospital, baby Ivanna was discharged.

Appreciation post

In a lengthy detailed post, the K24 journalist showered praise to a Nurse, Judy, for treating Ivanna like her own daughter – even coming to see her during her off days.

East Africa’s music kingpin, Diamond Platnumz publicly confessed his love and admiration of the motherland, Kenya.

The Tanzanian superstar admitted that Kenya is a united country and that local music artistes are privileged to be a part of such a nation.

Revealing that some of the products and resources that are easily accessible in Kenya, are a luxury in Tanzania.

Kenyans wanapendana sana. Wakati mwingine natamani ningekua nimezaliwa Kenya. Vitu tumefanya leo hapa Kenya, hamna kule Tanzania. (Kenyans love each other and sometimes I wish I was born in Kenya. The things we have done in Kenya today, we don’t have the same in Tanzania)

According to the Bongo Flava sensation, Kenyan artistes should not take the opportunities they have for granted and instead make use of them to full capacity.

However, that was going to be an investment to launch Wasafi record label in the country, he divulged.

I have a land in Kenya now. I am trying to see if I can build a proper branch for WCB Wasafi here.

Closing off, Chibu thanked Kenyan artistes and the music industry at large because of the support and efforts to change the image of the East African community.

“I am my family’s last hope” DJ Shiti reveals

DJ Shiti has never shied away from revealing how tough it was for him before making it big in the entertainment industry!

Just like most young men with a vision of a better future, DJ Shiti left his rural home in search of green pastures in Nairobi.

However, what he did not know is that life is actually harder in the city; compared to the one he was used to while living back at his parents home.

Starting life at Koinange

In his previous interviews, DJ Shiti revealed that when he arrived in Nairobi – he had no where to go after his cousin and a few of his relatives refused to host him.

He was then left with no choice but to live on the street. Speaking about this experience DJ Shiti opened up saying;

“I made friends among the commercial sex workers at Koinange street. They loved how I spoke and nicknamed me Mr. Motivator. They, however, usually probed me to tell them where I stay, and after a few inquiries, I bowed into their demands and told them the truth,”

He went on to add saying the ladies took it upon themselves to help him despite not knowing him.

Just recently Betty Kyallo showed off just a small portion of her incredible footwear on an Instagram story video reposted from her sister’s page. Just like herself, all BK’s shoes are seen incredibly organized, still new’ish and classy enough for any expensive lady like herself.

Although the video was shared by her younger sister Gloria Kyallo is; the young lady was kind enough to reveal they would soon be auctioning the shows through BK’s page probably to create room for the new collection.

Away from that, it seems that BK is not just loved by her TV viewers; but her Instagram family who often look forward to her live sessions especially on weekends!

The last time BK shared a screenshot showing how many people joined her live; she thanked the 49k followers who logged into her IG live session for showing her nothing but love.

Away from the radio airwaves, Maina Kageni stands as one of the most acclaimed aging bachelors in Kenya.

The Classic 105 radio presenter who co-hosts with the popular Mwalimu King’ang’i, is known to side with women regardless of the topic of discussion.

Probably just his signature in the Breakfast show. But if there is one thing he is known for, is his fear of marriages and relationships that need commitment.

Engaging fans in a Q&A on YouTube, Maina confessed he does believe in the institution of marriage but probably not meant for the likes of him.

Yes, I believe in the marriage institution, but marriage is not for everyone.

Avril or Sanaipei Tande?

Talking of marriage and relationships, a fan asked the radio personality to pick his crush between songbirds, Avril or Sanaipei Tande.

Answering:

Avril I love you so much, you are beautiful but Sanaipei you are sexy and so beautiful.

Well, Maina and Sanaipei go way back, when they co-hosted shows on Kiss FM before she left for the music art.

Sanaipei is like music to his heart, recalling how he even tried indirectly proposing to her but she instead took it lightly.

Sanaa you are sexy and you sing like hell. Lemme say this here, we worked together on Kiss FM and I remember one day I made an indecent proposal.

Maina wanted to father Sanaipei’s kid but that was not her kind of vibe, his proposal never bore fruit.

I remember telling Sana, I don’t want a relationship with you, but please have a baby for me. When I made that joke, I was serious but she used to joke around it, ooo Sanaipei aliundwa on a Sunday.

Nadia Mukami told off Arrow Bwoy’s diss in his recent interview with The Trend’s Amina Abdi, as an ’embarrassment’.

During her earlier interview with NTV’s Anto Neosoul, the pop star had labeled the ragga dancehall artiste ‘an amazing friend’.

On the 18th of April, speaking to NTV’s The Trend show host, Amina Abdi Rabar, Arrow Bwoy insinuated he does not know Nadia, struggling to recall who she is.

Additionally distancing himself from any dating reports, urging the songstress to instead ‘focus on her music and forget the sideshows’.

Well, the African pop star has responded to Arrow Bwoy’s sentiments.

During a night IG Live chat with her followers, a fan asked Nadia when she is planning to walk down the isle.

The Kenyan singer-songwriter first shied off then laughed about it, expressing:

I’m first looking for money, a lot of it. Then I build my own place and then I can start thinking of marriage.

Revealing she has been single for a while now, though failed to precisely disclose for how long now.

I’ve been single for months.

Then came in the question about ArrowBwoy and the blush on her face was so real, like she wasn’t expecting questions around that.

She looked down, went silent about it, fumbled for a while, before getting asked to confirm the truth around it.

Nadia openly responded:

Alisema hanijui kwa the Trend. Soo…pia mimi sina kitu ya kusema. [He said he doesn’t know me during his interview on The Trend. Soo…I also have nothing to say]

The two then ignited a heavy belly laugh, as she articulated:

Let me continue with my hustles and spoil my fans to good music. So that I don’t get embarrassed like that again. I can’t handle the embarrassment.

For her, she felt like the ‘Jango Love’ singer literally humiliated her.

Music

Addressing her music in the face of an unpredictable Coronavirus pandemic, Nadia promised more music to fans, as her EP hangs on till we return to normalcy.

Speaking of her EP she said her collabos with other artistes are on their way, only hurdle being the Coronavirus pandemic.

Right now we can predict nothing about Corona. There are no plans anyone can make for this time being, unless for future plans, which is probably 6 months down the line. Even after the situation is contained, the economy will be on its knees, so return to normalcy will take time. Currently, I have no plans. But the EP is ready.
