Controversial gospel singer Ringtone has always been open his thoughts and as usual, he never filters what he says whether bitter or sweet.
In his recent interview with popular news outlet, Ringtone called out those bleaching their skins in order to look more attractive. This is however something that he does not support as he believed we were all created in the image of God. Speaking to Pulse, the singer said…
“If the Bible says you were fearfully and wonderfully made, why should you go on bleaching or doing other forms of body modifications? Are you a car?”
He went on to condemn the act by strongly saying the society should not entertain this…
“I mean, unless it’s there are healthy risks and out of doctor’s advice, why would you re-model your look. No! We can’t keep on entertaining this,”
Well, this comes a few weeks after Khaligraph Jones was trolled for bleaching…but did he really care? I guess not!
No matter how hard we try to keep off Ringtone’s rants on social media, the singer always finds a way to keep his fans and the media talking and this time around he seems more interested in catching Huddah’s attention.
Through his instagram page the singer announced that he will be fasting for 21 days inorder for Huddah to get saved. He will also be praying for her as he believes that she needs Jesus in her life. He wrote saying,
“MY BRETHREN IN CHRIST I AM GOING INTO PRAYER AND FASTING FOR 21 DAYS FOR THIS MY FRIEND @HUDDAHthebosslady TO RECEIVE JESUS. IF YOU BELIEVE SHE NEEDS HIS LETS AGREE TOGETHER IN PRAYER FOR HER.#HUDDAH4JESUS,”
This is however not the first time the singer is pulling such a stunt. Last year he went ahead to ask his fans to help him propose to Tanzanian singer Ray C as he was ready to make her his wife only if she agrees.
However, this time around he seems more interested with Huddah’s salvation but this is a topic we are pretty sure will interest the popular socialite. Let us wait and see what she will say about this>
Gospel singer Ringtone has come out defending himself after being ‘accused’ of calling Khaligraph Jones gay for bleaching.
Well, the singer has now denied this and claims that he referred to the act of bleaching as a gay quality when a man does it. However from his interview with Mpasho, Ringtone was heard loud and clear throwing shade at Khaligraph but now that the heat in the kitchen seems to be getting hotter Ringtone has to play it safe.
Ringtone said that: “To me there is no difference between kutoa tint ya khaligraph na khaligraph kuwa gay.”
However, speaking to Pulse, Ringtone said that he has no beef with Khaligraph and his statement was not personal at all.
“There is nothing personal about my statement that Khaligraph is introducing a new unacceptable culture into our industry. Bleaching or whatever you call it is not acceptable in Africa. Why would you enhance your look as a man?”
He went on to add that
“I never said Khaligraph is gay as it is being alluded. I only said that practices like gayism and bleaching are not so African. No wonder he has found himself fighting cheap wars with socialites about such issues. I think he has a problem and should simply turn to God.”
Despite all the millions he has amassed, gospel singer Ringtone is lonely. The ‘Tenda Wema’ hit maker is now looking for a wife to fill the empty hole in his heart.
Sometimes in 2015, Ringtone said he was ready to marry Ray C, this was after the Tanzanian singer took to social media to launch a husband bid.
The Tanzanian songbird however rejected Ringtone’s generous offer because she is obsessed with Kenya’s commander in chief.
Ray C is NOT interested in being Ringtone’s sweetheart, she has her eyes set on President Uhuru Kenyatta whom she desperately wants to meet in person.
Sometimes in 2015, Ringtone said he was ready to marry Ray C, this was after the Tanzanian singer took to social media to launch a husband bid.
Ringtone later withdrew his interest explaining that he wanted Ray C to be his friend because she was like Pamela who had returned to God.
It has taken Ray C two years to respond to Ringtone’s sensational claim. The onetime queen of Bongo music told Mzazi Willy Tuva that Ringtone didn’t stand a chance of dating her.
“Nilisoma hizo taarifa Kwa mitandao, namjua tu kama msanii kwanza wa Gospel, kwa hiyo nilishangaa sana ila ni mtu mzuri sana napenda anavyoshirikiana na wasanii wa Gospel wa Tanzania, ila hio haipo kwenye ratiba yangu though,” Ray C said in a phone interview with Mzazi Tuva on Radio Citizen on Wednesday April 19th 2017.
“Aiiii hio hapana,” She added when she was asked whether Ringtone stood a chance to win her heart. The ‘Moto Moto’ hit maker reiterated that she was interested in President Uhuru.
Back in 2015, Ray C took to the social media to express her undying crush on Kenya’s commander in chief.
“Lemme tell u a lil secret about Uhuru!!!!I love this guy to death!I have had a crush on him for soooooo long!!!huwa namuota sana sana!!!!I love everything about him!His Attitude, His accent!Total Package!!” Ray C posted on Instagram on July 17th 2015 at 3:17pm.
The songbird told Mzazi that she hopes to meet President Uhuru when she comes to Kenya in 3 weeks time. She even revealed the things she would do if she meets Uhuru.
“I will learn as much as I can from him. I will soon request for a dinner date, where he will advise on me on matters life. We’ll say two or three things to each other. I will look for him wherever he is. He is a nice guy. I can see he supports Kenyan artists to a detailed degree,” she said.
Controversial gospel artist Ringtone is a man living large.
I am now convinced that so far he is the richest young gospel artist we have in the country. Not quite sure where he gets all the money from because I am pretty sure that his music has nothing to do with it but I hear is very generous.
Just recently, he opened up about his new mansion situated in the leafy suburbs of Karen. Speaking to Pulse the singer says the house stands in a half an acre land and before he purchased it, the house had been abandoned by it’s owner making it easy to get it at a cheaper price.
He goes on to say that it has ten bedrooms and though he lives alone sometimes he gets visitors from abroad and rents out some of the rooms allowing him to make extra cash that he uses to help out a number of children homes.
Looking at the photos seems that he used the same interior designer who decorated his previous (7 bed room) mansion to decorate his new home. The similarities between his new mansion and the one he was kicked out of last year are quite small.
Anyway, this must be a big deal for the artist who was kicked out of his mansion situated on Karen, Muiri Gardens after failing to pay his rent (ksh 200,000) for two months. But now he has his own home and word has it that he also has another multi million mansion in Runda…so where is he getting all this money from? Anyway checkout photos from his new house.
Ringtone has taken a swipe at Bahati and Willy Paul claiming the two haven’t made any wealth because they are masquerading as gospel artists while in reality they are just secular singers.
The “Tenda Wema” hit maker claimed he was the richest gospel artiste in Kenya because he was truly walking in the path of the Lord.
“I do not sing to eat. No, God has blessed me abundantly with business ventures that support my living standards and for that reason, I can tell off anyone without fear or favour because I have my own money. Maybe you don’t know it, but I am probably the richest gospel artiste in Kenya. Some of these small boys you see misbehaving in the name of the Lord are on their way to making music. They have made no wealth whereas, I have made both music and wealth,” Ringtone told the Nairobian.
The flamboyant singer encouraged Willy Paul and Bahati to walk in the path of the Lord so that they could become rich like him.
Ringtone said Bahati and Willy Paul will only own houses in Karen and Runda once they ditch their camouflage and stop singing secular songs.
“I made my money by working for the Lord with honour and humility. That is what I keep telling Willy Paul; that the day they will start walking on the path of the Lord by first ceasing to sing music that is on the fence, the day they will be born of God, that is the day you will hear that Bahati owns a house in Runda and Willy Paul owns a mansion in Karen. As long as they keep the current trend, they will come across as big names in the local gospel industry, but continue living along Mombasa Road and Eastlands, sijui huko ni wapi!” Ringtone quipped.
Ringtone sentiments could be easily provoke laughter considering only four months ago he was kicked out of a seven bedroom mansion in Karen that he had been leasing.
According to a termination of lease letter addressed to the singer by lawyers acting on behalf of the property landlord, Ringtone was thrown out after he defaulted rent payment for two months, the rent was Kes 200,000 per month.
