This Video Of The Late Ebony And Her Father Cracking Jokes Will Bring Tears Into Your Eyes

The untimely death of the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns has not only left many in shock. Her death has also had diverse effects on many Ghanaians including a few of those who were not even close to her.

Since her demise, no day has passed by without someone posting a video or photo(s) of the songstress. She’s celebrated every passing day by her fans, friends and family. Different photos and videos have clogged social media of the late songstress.

The latest video to catch the attention of Ghaflagh.com is one we’ve spotted on Instagram. Whilst alive, Ebony was noted to be a ‘Daddy’s Girl’. She and her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng shared a very enviably strong bond. The two, probably run into each other in the video and began to crack jokes.

Ebony was captured sitting in a car and her father stands by her as they chat in the pidgin language laughing heartily.  It seemed one of them was coming in whiles the other was also going out.

The daddy is heard saying: “What goan” as if to ask her daughter “what’s going on?” or “how is it going?” But Ebony laughs at him, trying to tell him that she speaks better Pidgin than he does. Her father then responded, telling her that he is the 60’s good man, vs. the 90s badgyal as Ebony referred to herself. The two then break into deep laughter, and though it was a hearty moment, it is also a sad one, knowing that Ebony is no more to play with her dad.

It was hearty conversation which was concluded with Ebony telling her dad “I love you baby”. Yes, Ebony referred to her dad as ‘Baby’ when she was alive. Nana Poku also responded in the same way.Indeed, this video goes a long way to prove the strong bond that existed between the father and daughter. Sure, you’ll have tears in your eyes after watching this, knowing that Ebony Reigns is no more to put that smile on her daddy’s face.

The video is on the page with the name Schardovtvdotcom, believed to be operated by the management of the late songstress.

Meanwhile, her tribute concert is coming off tomorrow March, 23 at the Trade Fair Center in Accra.

The invitation to the funeral is reportedly coming from the family of the late singer.

The turnout was a massive one for her one week memorial. As a result, management, and family of the late songstress are expecting a mammoth crowd during the final funeral rites of their beloved.

Details

Details on the car sees the bereaved family extending their invitation to Ghanaians. They’re calling on Ghanaians to partake in the solemnization of the late star slated for March 24.

The venue for the burial service as reported earlier is at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra.

Her final resting place is going to be the Osu Cemetery, Accra.

Meanwhile, her family and management in partnership with GTP Textile Limited recently unveiled the cloths for her burial.

The cloths according to her family can also be used at any occasion to keep the legacy of their late daughter alive.
A tribute concert is also scheduled to take place on March 23 in honor of the ‘Maame Hw3’ hitmaker.

Ghanaians Suspect Shatta Wale To Be The One Demanding Money Before Performing At Ebony’s Tribute Concert

We earlier brought you reports on the impending tribute concert for the late Ebony Reigns. The tribute concert, according to organizers is intended at raising money for her impending funeral.

Posters for the concert were released yesterday and we brought you all the stories about it that one too.

We however followed up with a story that the Manager of the late Ebony Reigns, Bullet was lashing out on some artistes who according to him are hypocrites.

Bullet in a Facebook post said some musicians  are requesting money before they perform at the concert. Meanwhile, according to Bullet, these same artistes claim they loved Ebony.

Billed to perform at the concert are some top artistes in the country from all the music genres.

Some of the confirmed artistes include; Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Samini, Yaa Pono, VVIP, R2Bees, Kofi Kinaata, Feli Nuna, Ras Kuuku, Brella, Danny Beatz  and Bosheba.

However, conspicuously missing in the list which was printed on the official poster was the SM King, Shatta Wale. Perhaps, for this reason, many Ghanaians believe that Bullet’s subtle Facebook post was directed to him.

So, even though the CEO of RuffTown record didn’t mention any artiste’s name in his post, a lot of Ghanaians are speculating and mentioning Shatta Wale to be part of the said hypocrites.

The final funeral rites and burial service for the late Ebony will be held on March 24 at the forecourt of the State House in Accra. This will be the next day after the vigil of tribute concert.

Below are some screen shots of the comments;

Bullet Lashes Out On Some Artistes Requesting To Be Paid Before Performing At Ebony’s Tribute Concert

The Manager of the Late dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns has attacked some Ghanaian artistes over Ebony’s tribute concert.

According to Bullet, some artistes are requesting to be paid before they perform at Ebony’s tribute concert. Bullet however thinks it is an act of hypocrisy on their part. To him, these artistes appeared at the one week memorial of the late songstress just to utilize the platform for their own gain.

The line-up of the tribute concert was released today  with so many top artistes billed to perform as we earlier reported.

Bullet is however not happy with the fact that some of these artistes are demanding for money. The concert is in the memory of the late songstress, Ebony Reigns and perhaps he thought colleagues could just show their support and perform for free.

He took to his Facebook page to lash out on these artistes and appreciate those who are selflessly supporting them.

He wrote:

“Some of our Ghanaian artistes are very hypocrite, you came to Ebony’s one week observation because the numbers were there and again it was being telecast live on air so some of you came there to use the platform. Now you’re asking me to pay you for her tribute concert. I thought you loved her as you claimed on stage at her one week. This is pure hypocrisy. Big thanx to every artistes who has decided to support us. We are grateful.”

Ebony’s tribute concert is slated for the 23rd of March, 2018, at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians are also attacking Bullet over the GHC 10 gate fee charge. Well, they also thought it would be free.
