Ebony’s Management Neglected Her – Ebony’s Father

Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late Dancehall musician Ebony Reigns, has been making some shocking revelations after his daughter’s burial.

A few days ago, he revealed that Ebony was molested by Bullet, her manager.

However, today, he’s accusing the whole management team of negligence which has eventually led to the death of his beloved daughter.

According to him, Ebony management team’s failure to monitor her movement was a clear dereliction of duty.

He added that they should have known her location and itinerary at every point in time and should have stopped her from embarking a journey at that late hour.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku Kwaerteng died in a road accident on the Kumasi–Sunyani road on February 8. In her company were her driver, her friend, Franky Kuri, and a Military Man, Atsu Vondee, who was said to be her bodyguard.

Unfortunately, all passengers perished when their jeep collided with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi. Only the driver survived.

After her death, reports later stated that Ebony traveled without the consent of her team management.

But Ebony’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng in an interview on Peace FM says he blames the management for not keeping track of her movement.

Nana Opoku maintained that  he’s grateful to Ebony’s management for unearthing her talent and making her a star. However, in his perspective, they woefully failed in doing a good job. He said that his daughter had no right to make that trip without permission from her management.

Ebony’s father’s speech;

“Nana Hemaa (Ebony) traveled very late in the night when Bullet (her manager) was abroad, according to him. A good management team handling a 21 year old super star should have taken good care of her. Somebody should have been with her on that journey, somebody should have corrected her as she shouldn’t have made that journey on her own. That is proper management, Ghanaians take things too easy. There’s more to the word management, I’m not being ungrateful but management should not be only about the music aspect of the artiste.

“When you’re managing someone, the person’s movement and all that concerns her is your concern. You don’t care the strength of that person, you take the decision for the person that’s why you are the manager. You’ve taken her from nowhere and you made her a star, if you’re her manager then your concern couldn’t have been only the music aspect.

“As a father I did my bit, I expected management to do their part. The bit about my daughter embarking on that journey, means someone failed woefully in doing his job, she didn’t have that right to say she was traveling to visit her mother without any management member knowing or accompanying her. Management should have arranged that journey and make sure she was safe.”

Video: Cloths For Ebony’s Funeral Unveiled

The family and management of late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, have unveiled the cloths to be used as the official garments for her funeral.

The cloths, which are three in number, according to the family and her management, are not for her funeral only but are to also be a part of her legacy.

Unveiling of the cloths took place at a short ceremony at the West Hills Mall on Saturday, March 17.

Ebony’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng urged all to purchase and use the cloths on any occasion for the memory of his daughter to live on.

“It’s unfortunate we are here today not for anything, to launch funeral cloths of my daughter, the queen, Ebony. How sad it is,” said the grieving father.

“It’s very unfortunate if you ask me but I guess we have no option. We are here to launch the cloths, they are beautiful to see. You’ll admire them for sure. It is in to stay, so to speak. And we recommend that for every occasion, patronize so that Ebony will forever reign. It is your support that will make this come true”. He said, stressing on the need for the public to patronize the cloths.

Management;

Her Manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang (Bullet), CEO of RuffTown Records, also added that the introduction of the cloth was in line with his artiste’s dream.

“We are doing this for Ebony Reigns. When she was alive, she was always with me. She told me most of the things she wanted to do. She wanted to have ‘Ntoma Collections’ because all the other musicians had casual wears. So it’s like a dream come true,” said Bullet.

The clothes are named after her songs ‘Maame Hwe’  which comes in two different types and ‘Aseda’, which is black and white.

Meanwhile, Franky Kuri was laid to rest last Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Ebony’s Funeral Likely To Be Postponed – Father Hints

The final funeral rites of the late dancehall star, Ebony is likely to undergo some changes.

During the one-week memorial commemoration of the late songstress, her family revealed March 17, as the day for her burial.

They however promised to later communicate the venue to the public at the appropriate time.

Considering the crowd that showed up at the memorial service, it is only wise that a bigger venue be chosen for her funeral.

As a result, her father, Nana Poku-Kwarteng, in an interview  last week revealed that the Black Stars Square had been chosen for her burial service.

However, it seems things may not go as planned for the venue.

Nana Poku-Kwarteng has again disclosed in a recent interview that the event may either be postponed or see a change in venue.

Speaking on Entertainment Review on Saturday, Ebony’s father said the venue had been booked by other bodies.

“The venue is the challenge. We earlier had the indication that we could hold it there but as it stands, it’s a little dicey. The Canadian High Commission has an event at the Forecourt of the State House on the very day. It had been booked way back. The Black Star Square had also been booked by Aglow International,” he stated.

The bereaved father and biggest fan of the late songstress admitted he may not have crosschecked well enough to know about the bookings.

He however urged all to exercise patience, adding that the public will be updated after a meeting with the Chief of Staff, today Monday March 5,2018.

“I announced the venue but maybe my homework was not well done or something. Let’s hold on. We are meeting the Chief of Staff on Monday to finalize issues. After that, we will brief the country about the development,” he noted.

Meanwhile,  Ebony’s friend, Franky Kuri was buried over the weekend.

Yesterday, a video which went viral took over the social media and left goose bumps on anyone who came across it.

The video shows the naked corpses of Ebony and her friend Franky Kuri. It is believed to have been recorded at a morgue.

A man, believed to be a mortuary attendant is seen touching and examining the badly injured bodies of the two.  showing bruises and for Ebony a deep cut in the head.

The location of the mortuary is unknown as well as the identity of the attendant.

It  however seems there were more than two persons involved in the obnoxious act as another assistant was seen using a mobile device to film the incident.

Arrest Mortuary Attendant Caught Fondling B**bs Of Ebony And Franky – Ghanaians Cry Out

Ghanaians woke up this morning to one of the most pathetic, obnoxious and absurd things ever heard and seen across the globe.

A video shows a man in the morgue standing over the two corpses of Ebony and Franky Kuri. Both are n*ked and the video shows the man fondling the bodies whilst he talks to some companions off camera.

The man is believed to be the head of the Bechem Government Hospital Mortuary where both bodies were deposited at the time the accident occurred.

The said mortuary man with a tribal mark on his left cheek was seen holding the head of Franky Kuri while staring at her concurrently.

“Unbelievable! Life is too short,” he said and left hold of the head.

“I have taken footage of it. If I see it on social media, I will hold you responsible because I won’t share it.” Another person is heard as saying.

Moments after that, the camera captures the same man fondling Ebony’s corpse. He continues until the one taking footage asked him to take off his hands just so he films his preferred part.

Unfortunately the video went viral, until recent reports claim it’s been shut down by Facebook.

The despicable act, which is disrespectful I’m sure to almost every culture in the world has since led to a public outrage. Many Ghanaians in and out of the country are calling for heads to roll.

We can’t show the video but honestly this is disgusting and the perpetrators must not go scot-free.
